Student Health Information Sharing Research: Systematic Review (학생 건강 정보 공유 연구에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the current state of research on the sharing of student health information abroad, identify the effectiveness and necessity of such information sharing, and provide directions for implementing student health information sharing in South Korea. The specific objectives include investigating related studies, assessing the effects and necessity of sharing student health information, and providing directions for implementing such practices in South Korea. Methods: This systematic review examines research trends and outcomes related to the sharing of student health information. Using the PICO-SD (Participants, Intervention, Comparison, Outcomes, Study Design) framework, the study focuses on elementary, middle, and high school students, with the intervention being the sharing of student health information. Databases such as Medline, EmBase, and CINAHL were searched for relevant studies published up to January 2024. A total of 7,936 studies were initially identified, with 10 ultimately included. Results: All selected studies were from international sources, predominantly from the USA. The studies highlighted the benefits of health information sharing among schools, parents, and community health providers. Key findings indicate that sharing health information helps identify students with chronic conditions, facilitates medical coordination, enhances the overall understanding of student health, and improves the efficiency and quality of health management by school nurses. The studies also demonstrate that health information sharing strengthens health monitoring, reduces data redundancy, and supports public health interventions. Conclusion: The analysis underscores the importance of developing and implementing a student health information sharing system. Such a system would enhance the quality of health care provided to students, improve the efficiency of school health services, and foster better collaboration among schools, parents, and community health providers. Future research should focus on creating a robust platform for the integrated management and sharing of student health records, ensuring consistency and continuity in health care beyond different settings.

The Study on the Digital Media Literacy for Knowledge Sharing (지식공유 촉진을 위한 디지털 미디어 활용능력에 관한 연구)

  • Digital literacy is an important factor in the discourses on the knowledge sharing on the campus. This article analyzed the impact of digital literacy of knowledge-sharing capabilities in the university. As a result, digital literacy was found to significantly affect student knowledge-sharing capabilities in the university studied. Results show that video and animation literacy is the most influential factor and image literacy is the second-most influential factor for student knowledge-sharing. Those results can be used as a framework for developing digital literacy program.

  • 본 논문에서는 교사-부모간의 원활한 정보 공유를 통해 ADHD학생의 학교 적응과 학업 수행을 도울 수 있는 교사-부모간의 ADHD학생 행동 관찰 공유시스템의 프로토타입을 제안해보고자 하였다. 선행연구를 통해 ADHD학생이 통합교육을 효율적으로 받기 위해 전제되어야 할 것이 교사와 부모의 협력인 점과 현재 교육현장에서 교사 부모 협력의 실질적 방안의 요구됨을 확인했다. 선행 연구 자료를 통해 도출한 ADHD학생 행동관찰 공유시스템의 설계전략을 기반으로 스토리보드를 작성하고 교사측면과 부모측면, 그리고 공유측면 시스템 기능으로 분류하여 프로토타입을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 실제 ADHD학생 행동관찰 공유시스템의 개발과 개발된 시스템이 교육 현장에서 어느 정도의 효용성과 이용성을 갖게 될지 검증하는 실증적 후속 연구가 필요하다고 제언한다.

An Analysis of the Awareness of Undergraduate Students Toward Educational Methods Utilizing SNS (SNS의 교육적 활용 방법에 대한 대학생들의 인식 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide statistical analysis based suggestions on effective methods to take advantage of social network service (SNS) for educational purposes based on investigations of undergraduate students with high utilization of SNS. To achieve this, we conducted an open questionnaire survey and qualitatively analyzed the data using NVivo 10 program. Additionally, to visualize the analysis by education subject of the SNS educational methods, we have divided the data into 3 categories of teacher, student and common area. As a result, our analysis showed that the exchange opinions and discussions, information sharing and learning of contents of questions and answers, surveys, intimacy formation, counseling etc. were of the common area. Furthermore, teacher area included the notice announcement, teaching materials sharing, real-time assessment (quiz), attendance check, assignment grading and feedback, etc. Finally the student area was of project activities (group/individual), prepare and review the shared data, video self learning, peer review and feedback of projects, lecture evaluation, etc.

  • The authors of this study tried to explore the current status of the levels of information literacy of foreign students in Korea where many foreign students, mainly from several Asian countries, have been moving continuously into various universities. To do this, a survey was conducted of 202 Chinese students enrolled in universities in Busan and its neighboring area. They responed that their level of information literacy was slightly above the middle range and that the fields of 'information ethics' and 'information communication technology' were relatively high whereas 'information production, communication and sharing' and 'information investigation and search' were relatively low.

  • As basic data about students' career education in high school are being managed only in forms of NEIS, which is supported by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and the information for career education that homeroom teachers have operated by off-line system, it is hard to use them as practical decision support system for students' career education. In this study, we intend to design and embody web-based Student Management Total System by constructing DB of students' e-portfolios, school records and counselling data etc. And our ultimate goal with this system is helping teachers to carry out more effective career education geared to each individual student's talent and aptitude by integrating and sharing information about their career on the web site systematically.

Digital Image Comparisons for Investigating Aging Effects and Artificial Modifications Using Image Analysis Software

  • In the digital era, large archives of information and Internet accessibility make information search, including image search, easier and affordable, even from remote locations. Information transmission and sharing can be performed instantly, at any moment. In the case of images, there are risks of transmitting and recklessly sharing intentionally modified images. Such modified images can also be transmitted and used as an additional source of information by followers. In this study, historical portraits of Yu Kil-Chun are shown, who was the first Korean student to study in both Japan and the United States. He was an intellectual, writer, politician, and independence activist of Korea's late Joseon Dynasty. Using image processing software, the portrait images were compared to investigate aging effects and artificial modifications. Statistics of red (R), green (G), blue (B), and L*, a*, and b* values of every pixel in the selected identical areas of the portraits were compared to identify possible causes of variations, including aging effects and artificial modifications. Sepia toning, used in black and white photographs until the 1930s, and modern digital sepia toning can be very confusing owing to their aging effects. The importance of preservation of physical copies and preservation of context (interconnections between data and between documents) is discussed from archiving and conservation science perspectives.

Effects of Software Education Program for the Education Welfare Priority Support Students on Learning Motivation, Self-efficacy and Goal Orientation

  • In this paper, we propose a Software Education Program for the Education Welfare Priority Support students. Elementary school students of education welfare priority support programs has low school satisfaction level and course maturity. Also, they have various problem such as relatively large digital divide when compared to general student. To solve such problem, we designed, developed, and applied a software education program on education welfare priority support program's elementary school students to analyze its effect on their learning motivation, self-efficacy, and goal orientation. Software education program followed the main stages of ADDIE model and was designed into experience Sharing, Requirements analysis, Sharing, Grouping, and Organizing. 20 of 6th graders in education welfare priority support programs were chosen as subject for software education program. The effectiveness has been analyzed through pre, and pro test. As a result of the analysis, we found that the developed software education program has meaningful effect on Learning Motivation, Self-efficacy, and Goal Orientation of education welfare priority support program's elementary students.

  • Since internships or field training provide students with opportunities to choose skills, business interests and aptitudes in the actual workplace, their significant role in higher education has been gradually emphasized. In particular, engineering students gain increased adaptability to the industry, enhance their research abilities and acquire field-based expertise through internships or field training. However, effective operation of such internships or field training often pose various limitations. In this regard, the development of a system to manage students properly is urgently required for the effective operation of internships or field training. Systematic management of a series of related information ranging from a survey on the demand for internships or field training, planning, development and operation of pre-training programs, student guidance through information sharing between universities and businesses, data-gathering with regard to students' difficulties and their requirements, to prospects for future employment. In line with these requirements, this study attempts to present a modeling scheme for the development of a student management system for use in internships or field training. Towards this end, a questionnaire survey is conducted with engineering professors, students and graduates, along with a review of related literature to identify the needs for system development. Based on the results, a model of the system will be proposed through expert consultation.

  • It was difficult for high school teachers to guide the careers of their students on the behalf of the time and place limits. Accumulation and sharing datum about career guidance was not easy, either. This study aims at more systematic and objective career guidance and counseling by overcoming the current problems using Data Mining Techniques for career guidance. Moreover, the systems can also be helpful to students who use this positive search system based on world wide web for the career information on the basis of their own need.
