Since the mid-1980's, strategic alliances are dominantly hailed as an effective growth and survival strategy in the era of international market and multinational corporation. There are a number of reasons for this phenomenon. there is an increasing globalization of markets in an ever-widening band of industries, together with the development of global technologies that makes production cycles shorten and the ever-increasing demand for investment resources and information to cope with the changing environment. The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of corporation information system in strategic alliance mode, and to analyze the main factors which are affecting the choice of strategic alliance mode by Korean firms. This study can also contribute theoretical and practical suggestive points in relation to strategic alliance operations. However, it also has limits as an exploratory study due to lacks of prior studies and proper methodologies and so on. Accordingly, the phenomenon of international strategic alliances call for further studies on casual relationships between main factors and variables in this field.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to study promotion strategies so that the research results of national strategic technologies can lead to technology commercialization. National strategic technology is being promoted in various fields, but the reality is that review of the commercialization aspect is lacking. In order to lead to commercialization, the strategic goals and direction of the promotion process must be consistent, and a strategic review must be conducted in terms of technology commercialization. Research design, data and methodology: In this study, the direction of strategic technology was analyzed and commercialization problems and solutions were presented based on case studies and existing literature research. Although technology commercialization methods have been discussed, research on specific strategies is lacking. Results: It is necessary to pursue full-cycle technology commercialization to solve various problems for commercialization of cutting-edge science and technology and advance to the commercialization stage. We will cover topics such as understanding successful commercialization of special strategic technology fields, establishing appropriate commercialization strategies, government-wide cooperation, and investment support. Conclusions: Research results showed that discovery of excellent technologies, investment support, and multi-ministerial cooperation support are necessary to commercialize strategic technologies based on cutting-edge science and technology. This study should discuss various promotion strategies for strategic technologies to improve the efficiency of research and development investment.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the strategic development plan of the freight forwarding industry in Korea. In order to do this, 20 derailed factors were identified both from previous studies and from brainstorming professionals of the freight forwarding industry and these made info a 3 level hierarchy structure. SWOT/AHP technique identifies the relative weight of each level and composite relative weight of detailed factors. As a result, the strategic development plan of the freight forwarding industry priority in Korea has been proposed.

Apoptosis signal-regulating kinase 1 (ASK1) is a mitogenactivated protein kinase (MAPK) kinase kinase that activates JNK and p38 kinases. ASK1 is activated by various stresses, such as reactive oxygen species (ROS), endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and calcium influx which are thought to be responsible for the pathogenesis or exacerbations of various human diseases. Recent studies revealed the involvement of ASK1 in ROS- or ER stressrelated diseases, suggesting that ASK1 may be a potential therapeutic target of various human diseases. In this review, we focus on the current findings for the relationship between pathogenesis and ASK1-MAPK pathways.

ODA projects such as multi-purpose dam, industrial complex, road construction etc. have resulted in environmental damage and resident relocation including destruction of site of living. Even the grandiose developments as ODA projects have made clear the value clashes between development and environmental conservation, and have brought about conflicts between public interests and public environmental right, and the discordance between public interests and private property rights in the recipient country. This study summarizes and analyses the Korea's ODA projects and will suggest the public participation and governance system based on Saemaul Movement, Strategic Environmental Assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment based on the guideline of OECD DAC, and emphasize Strategic Environmental Assessment and Social Impact Assessment in the procedure of ODA projects. In the future the ODA project should be implemented for the overcome of poverty and response to climate change based on the experience and trial and errors of Korea's compact growth and past ODA projects.

The present study is aimed at developing the optimal instruments for dispelling the uncertainty factors during the formulation of strategies for corporate development. The objective is the creation of a complete model of strategic analysis, which encompasses both the environment (internal and external) and the management rational component. This model -built on the analysis of three corporate cases - is concretized by a simulation for testing the strategy by the means of software which enables the users to cope with a dynamic and complex corporate environment. The research questions regard the development of a complete strategic analysis, which covers the entire decision-making process; the concrete assessment of the business strategy on the basis of quantitative data: the identification and enhancement of the critical variables of business administration, in such a complex and dynamic reality as the corporate environment.

The paper presents a case study with application of a performance measurement questionnaire in analyzing a semi-conductor-related manufacturing company. The case may contribute to the development of strategic performance measurement system. The questionnaire contains considerable non-financial measurement indices as well as financial ones, which may strengthen the strategic aspect of measurement system. The strategy, actions, and measures have to be balanced through communication process in an organization. The result shows the usefulness of the congruence and consensus analysis of performance factors in effectively managing strategic action programs and identifying investment task areas to be targeted.

This paper analyzes the advantages and opportunities of regional development prospects of the China (Anhui) Pilot Free Trade Zone. In addition, it provides suggestions for the future development of the Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone. The establishment of the Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone is a major platform for Anhui Province, China, to serve the nation's opening-up strategy to the world and an opportunity for the Anhui region to enhance the level of an open economy. The development plan points out that the Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone 1) takes institutional innovation as the core, 2) complies with the requirements of the innovation-driven development and promotion of the Yangtze River Delta regional integration development strategy, and 3) plays a vital node role in promoting the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and 4) accelerates the construction of scientific and technological innovation sources, advanced manufacturing and strategic emerging industries. The findings of this study highlight three critical achievements as follows: 1) optimization and improvement of the business environment have progressed, 2) the conversion rate of scientific and technological innovation achievements has increased, and 3) advanced high-tech manufacturing and strategic emerging industries are clustered and developed.
