자동차 환경에서 Oak DSP 코어 기반 음성 인식 시스템 실시간 구현 (A Real-Time Implementation of Speech Recognition System Using Oak DSP core in the Car Noise Environment)

  • This paper presents a real-time implementation of a speaker independent speech recognition system based on a discrete hidden markov model(DHMM). This system is developed for a car navigation system to design on-chip VLSI system of speech recognition which is used by fixed point Oak DSP core of DSP GROUP LTD. We analyze recognition procedure with C language to implement fixed point real-time algorithms. Based on the analyses, we improve the algorithms which are possible to operate in real-time, and can verify the recognition result at the same time as speech ends, by processing all recognition routines within a frame. A car noise is the colored noise concentrated heavily on the low frequency segment under 400 Hz. For the noise robust processing, the high pass filtering and the liftering on the distance measure of feature vectors are applied to the recognition system. Recognition experiments on the twelve isolated command words were performed. The recognition rates of the baseline recognizer were 98.68% in a stopping situation and 80.7% in a running situation. Using the noise processing methods, the recognition rates were enhanced to 89.04% in a running situation.

2015년부터 2017년까지 시행한 이압요법을 통한 남자 고등학생 금연효과 관찰 (Observation of the Effects of Auricular Acupressure on Smoking Cessation in Male High School Students from 2015 to 2017)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to confirm the effects of an auricular acupressure (AA) program for smoking cessation in high school students from 2015 to 2017. Methods: The study investigated 12 high school students who had been smokers. Subjects were treated for three years. Each program was composed of five AA treatments. Average daily smoking and adverse reactions were checked for one week before each procedure. The AA was administered weekly at the endocrine point, lung point, throat point, nasal fossae point, bronchial tube point, and mouth point. Results: The mean number of cigarettes smoked per day after each year of treatment significantly decreased from 5.33±3.58 to 3.54±2.08 in 2015 (p=0.046). However, it increased from 5.75±2.30 to 6.00±3.61 in 2017 (p=0.80). The number of cigarettes smoked before treatment was found to be higher than the number of cigarettes after treatment in the previous year. No significant results were obtained from analysis of the change in the amount of smoking within each year. Conclusion: Social influence, such as the subject's academic stress and peer relationships, may have been a major factor in the change in the amount of smoking. Although the AA did not show a strong effect in smoking cessation, it appears to have value as a supplementary means of stopping smoking.

노선 굴곡도를 고려한 시내버스 체계 개선에 관한 연구 (Improvement of Bus Route System Considering Route Curvature)

  • 대도시에서는 공간구조 및 통행패턴의 변화, 신규개발에 따른 공급부족 등의 이유로 시내버스 노선개편을 단행하고 있지만 노선에 대해 평가할 수 있는 종합적인 체계가 미흡한 실정이다. 이러한 평가지표의 정립이 명확하지 않거나 있더라도 합리적이지 않는 경우가 발생하여 시내버스 노선개편시 개선방향 설정에 어려움을 주고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기존 평가지표들에 대해 고찰을 실시하고 이중 문제가 있는 지표들은 추가적으로 검토하였다. 특히, 굴곡도는 노선체계 평가시 매우 중요한 지표로 활용되어 왔지만 기존의 기종점 기반 굴곡도는 개별이용자들의 통행특성을 고려하지 못하는 한계점이 있어 본 연구에서 정류소 기반 개별이용자 O/D를 고려한 굴곡도 지표를 새롭게 제시하였다. 이를 위해 가상의 시내버스 노선망을 설정하고 기종점 기반 굴곡도와 정류소 기반 개별이용자 O/D를 고려한 굴곡도를 산정하여 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 정류소 기반의 개별이용자 O/D를 고려한 굴곡도를 통해 시내버스 노선체계 평가시 보다 효율적이며 실질적인 분석과 평가가 가능할 것으로 판단되며 광주광역시뿐만 아니라 향후 타지자체에서 수행하는 시내버스 노선개편시에도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 순환여과장치에 의한 어류사육시 어병방제의 목적으로 약품을 사용하는 일이 많다. 이 때, 이들 약품이 여과 조중의 산화분해세균을 사멸시켜 여과기능을 마비시킬 우려가 있어 여과를 중단시키고 약품을 처리하므로, 큰 불편을 주고 있다. 이번에 뱀장어 양식시에 흔히 사용되는 formalin 33ppm+malachite green 0.15ppm 혼합처리, dipterex 0.25ppm 처리 및 furanace 0.1ppm 처리가 여과기능에 미치는 영향을 주로 DO 소비량 및 ammonia 처리능력에서 시험검토하여 본 결과 별다를 영향을 미치지 않는다는 것을 알았다. 따라서 이상의 약물을 사용할 경우에 여과를 중단시키지 않아도 상관이 없다고 인정된다.

Evaluation of a Wafer Transportation Speed for Propulsion Nozzle Array on Air Levitation System

  • A transportation system of single wafer has been developed to be applied to semiconductor manufacturing process of the next generation. In this study, the experimental apparatus consists of two kinds of track, one is for propelling a wafer, so called control track, the other is for generating an air film to transfer a wafer, so called transfer track. The wafer transportation speed has been evaluated by the numerical and the experimental methods for three types of nozzle position a..ay (i.e., the front-, face- and rear-array) in an air levitation system. Test facility for 300mm wafer has been equipped with two control tracks and one transfer track of 1500mm length from the starting point to the stopping point. From the present results, it is found that the experimental values of the wafer transportation speed are well in agreement with the computed ones. Namely, the computed values of the maximum wafer transportation speed $V_{max}$ are slightly higher than the experimental ones by about $15{\times}20%$. The disparities in $V_{max}$ between the numerical and the experimental results become smaller as the air velocity increases. Also, at the same air flow rate, the order of wafer transportation speeds is : $V_{max}$ for the front-array > $V_{max}$ for the face-array > $V_{max}$ for the rear-array. However, the face-array is rather more stable than any other type of nozzle array to ensure safe transportation of a wafer.

두 타원체 사이의 최단 근접 거리를 구하는 실용적인 방법 (A Practical Method to Compute the Closest Approach Distance of Two Ellipsoids)

  • 본 논문에서는 두 타원체 사이의 중심 간 방향으로의 최단 근접 거리를 구하는 실용적인 방법을 제안한다. 이는 타원체로 근사한 강체 및 변형체의 물리기반 동적 시뮬레이션에서 타원체 사이의 충돌을 처리 하는 핵심 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 외부에서 접하는 두 타원체의 중심 간 거리와 접촉점 및 접촉방향에 관한 조건식을 세우고 고정점 반복법 및 Aitken의 델타 자승 절차를 이용하여 최단 근접 거리를 구하는 방법을 개발한다. 또한 실제 오차에 따른 종료 조건을 도입함으로써 게임 등의 실시간 응용에서 최단 근접 거리를 더욱 빠르게 구할 수 있게 한다. 다양한 실험을 통해 제안된 방법의 효율성 및 실용성을 보인다.

  • This paper presents a discrete time optimal asset buying problem with a predetermined final deadline where an available budget is limited. A cost is paid to search for assets called the search cost. A seller who shows up offers a price for the asset and then the buyer decides whether or not to buy the asset by comparing the offered price to his optimal selection threshold. When the budget becomes less than the search cost or the price of the asset the buyer can get a necessary loan with some interests. We clarify the properties of the buyer's optimal selection threshold in order to maximize the expected value of budget which is left after paying all the search costs and the price of the asset at that point in time.

  • This paper deals with the microcomputer realization of EMG pattern recognition system which provides identification of motion commands from the EMG signals for the on-line control of a prosthetic arm. A probabilistic model of pattern is formulated in the feature space of integral absolute value(IAV) to describe the relation between a motion command and the location of corresponding pattern. This model enables the derivation of sample density function of a command in the feature space of IAV. Classification is caried out through the multiclass sequential decision process, where the decision rule and the stopping rule of the process are designed by using the simple mathematical formulas defined as the likelihood probability and the decision measure, respectively. Some floating point algorithms such as addition, multiplication, division, square root and exponential function are developed for calculating the probability density functions and the decision measure. Only six primitive motions and one no motion are incorporated in this paper.
