Recently, Korean health care industry managers are paying more attention to customer oriented service, the rationalization of business administration, and quality control of service to adjust their business to outer environment since IMF bailout program. They are focusing on the cost reduction through remodeling the size and structure of man power, viz. labor flexibility. Nurses are not free from this juncture and contingent nurses are increasing fast. This article intends to verify the actual condition of two types of contingent nurses -part-time nurses and internship nurses-and to compare their job satisfaction to provide basic resource for efficient management of nurse man power. The concrete goals of this article are; Firstly, to verify the actual condition of their employment. Secondly, to compare their job satisfaction. And Thirdly, to the relation between employment condition and job satisfaction. To accomplish these research goals, a statistical survey was executed, in which 384 questionnaires - 66 for manager nurses, 318 for contingent nurses-were given to nurses working at 66 general hospitals-which have at least 100 beds-in Seoul. Among them, 121 questionnaires-of 28 general hospitals-were returned. Then, the data coded and submitted to mean, standard deviation, T-test, variance analysis (ANOVA), correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis with SAS program. The research results of the contingent nurses are followings: 1. Two types of contingent nurses shows similar age spans: they are mostly 21 - 30 years old and unmarried. But internship nurses have high level of educational career. Part - time nurses spread at general beds, out -patient part, intensive care part, operation part, etc, but internship nurses work mostly at general beds. 2. Two groups shows difference in actual employment condition: average employment career of part -time nurses is 7.0 months but internship nurses' is 2.0 months: average duty-on days per month of part - time nurses are 23.7 days but internship nurses' are 24.8 days. But there are little difference in average working time per day: 7.7 hours for part -time nurses and 0 hours for internship nurses. 3. The average wage per month for part -time nurses is 836,026 won but for internship nurses is 557,428 won-66.7% of part-time nurses'. Both groups are enjoying little additional pay. 4. Both groups are getting job not so much through advertisement of newspaper or hospitals as through acquainted person or college. 5. Both groups show very high level of job satisfaction: 3.2195 for part -time nurses and 3.2881 for internship nurses. But they show very low satisfaction on payment level compared with other categories and two groups show meaningful difference(P<.0001). 6. The multiple regression test reveals the factors related with job satisfaction: wage level, working part(OR or ICU), age, job career, and motive of contingent job-taking('because I can take care of family duties at the same time') influence positively: motive of contingent job-taking('because I can work regularly without alternation') influences negatively.
The purpose of this study was to analyze what effects the service quality of the food and beverage section have on its organization value in the value-oriented hotel business, how the organization value influence work performance, and what causal relationships exist among variable factors such as service quality, organization value, and work performance for helping get the hotel business more profitable through guiding service improvements. For conducting the study, full-time staff working at the restaurants of premium hotels in Seoul participated in the test as samples from January 10th to January 22nd, 2009. The statistical data analyses were completed using the SPSS 12.0 program, and frequency analyses, reliability analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis were conducted. The main results of this study were as follows. First, service quality of the food and beverage section in the hotel business caused positive effects on organization values. Second, it was found that the organization value and service quality also positively influenced work performance. Third, among service quality, organization value, and work performance, service quality had a direct effect on business performance, and organization value played an indirect role to cause effects on work performance through service quality. Accordingly, all of the workers engaging in the hotel business, including board of directors, ordinary managers and staff working at the food and beverage section, are highly required to recognize how keenly important service quality is for the hotel business.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect relation of the external variables of the RFID for eco-agricultural products, that of the external variables on TAM approachableness and usefulness, that of TAM approachableness on usefulness, that of TAM as approachableness and usefulness on trust and behavior intention, and the effect of trust on the behavior intention. The subjects of the actual analysis are the ordinary consumers aged 20 and over living in Seoul and Gyeong-gi Province and have the experience of purchasing eco-agricultural products. Total 300 copies of questionnaire were distributed for 14 days from September 24, 2012 until October 7, 2012, and total 278(92.7%) copies of survey materials were used for the final statistical analysis data except some found too strong unequal distribution of the response value or the value unknown at present. In the analysis results of this study, by examining the effects of the external variables of the RFID for eco-agricultural products on TAM's accessibility and usefulness and verifying the causal relationship between TAM's accessibility and consumers' trust and behavioral intent, this study has a sufficient value as an initial study on the RFID for eco-agricultural products. Thus, the results of this in-depth study show that producers and distributors maintaining and providing with safer eco-agricultural products food directly influence service companies' visible achievements.

This paper aims to explore the citation patterns of conference papers in 'Information Science' discipline and to analze impacts of various cited works-related factors on future citations of conference papers. Existing bibliometric studies has investigated citation patterns and the statistical relations between a variety of bibliographic factors and the future citations of literature. However, the attentions have been focused largely on journal articles, and the bibliometric studies targeting conference papers are still in an infant stage. Therefore, this study, which is based on 1,904 conference papers in 'Information Science' field, examined several citation patterns and the contributions of the factors about cited works - the number of cited works, type of cited works, citation rates and ages of cited works at the time of being cited and the rate of self-citedness - to the future citation of the citing target articles. The data source of this study including the properties of target articles and cited works and citation rates of target articles was Scopus. As the results, 53% and 29% of the cited works were conference papers and journal articles, respectively. 14% of them are non-traditional types such as web pages, technical reports, patent, etc. More than 60% of the cited works were 5 years old or less. Among several factors considered in this paper, the number of conference papers and the number of non-traditional types of works are the most contributing factors on the citation rates of target articles. The recency of the cited works is also significant contributor on the citation rates of target articles. That is, the target articles citing more conference papers and non-traditonal types of works earned more citations. The target articles citing recent works also earned more citations.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between learning motivation and task commitment and find sub factors of learning motivation that affect task commitment. For this study 30 science gifted student (4th and 5th grade in elementary school) participated. The survey instruments used for this study were Academic Motivation Scale and Task Commitment Scale. The statistical methods employed for data analysis were the correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The result of this study were as follows: First, the learning motivation and task commitment of science gifted students showed similar levels. But there was differences of strength each sub factors of learning motivation and task commitment. Second, there was a significant positive correlation between learning motivation and task commitment. Also, learning motivation has the explanatory power of predictive variable for the task commitment approximately 49.3%. Expecially learning motivation has significant positive correlation with responsibility and self-control that sub factors of task commitment. Among the sub factor of learning motivation, confidence has most correlations with sub factors of task commitment and significant impact on task commitment. This result indicate that we need to develop learning motivation to improve task commitment and especially develop learning motivation program to grow up confidence of science-gifted.

The quantitative EEGs of obsessive-compulsive disorder patients were analyzed using spectral analysis and compared to age and sex-matched controls. The subjects were 19 patients(men=15, women=4) suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder(DSM-III-R). Absolute power, relative power and interhemispheric asymmetry of EEG were used to compare obsessive-compulsive disorder patients with controls. In order to fit the EEG data to a normal distribution, a log transformation of power values of every bandwidth in each deviation was calculated prior statistical analysis. The Wilcoxon rank test was performed to compare obsessive-compulsive group to the control group. In obsessive-compulsive disorder, abnormalities of quantitative EEGs are prominent in fronto-central. These results ore compatible with other brain imaging studies of obsessive-compulsive disorder and suggested that fronto-central area plays an important role in the pathophysiology of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of job stress on Organizational commitment and turnover intent with targets of Employees of Security Industry. A total of 156 answered questionnaires were used as final data. The following conclusions were obtained by conducting correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0 statistical program. First, it is found that Organizational commitment effects some sub-factors of job stress such as inappropriate compensation, insufficient job control and job requirements. Second, it is found that turnover intent affects some sub-factors of job stress such as inappropriate compensation, insufficient job control and job requirements. Third, it is found that turnover intent affects Organizational commitment. Based on the result of the research, job stress seems to affect organizational commitment and people's decisions to change jobs. The two variables job stress and organizational commitment act as key factors in deciding whether to change jobs, while organizational commitment plays as an important parameter. In other words, there should be principles to do work along with channels through which workers communicate with each other. To this end, there need to be programs educating people to work together as well as systematic assistance and support to encourage people to develop their expertise.

In this study, we assess changes in water quality trends over time based on certain control measurements in order to identify and analyze the cause of the trend in water quality. The current water pollution in the Nakdong River was analyzed, as it suggests that the significant changes in water quality have occurred in between 2006 and 2010. Based on monthly average data, we have examined for trends of the Nakdong River watershed in water temperature, Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Nitrogen (TN), and Total Phosphorus (TP). Moreover, we have investigated seasonal variation of water quality of sites within the Nakdong River Basin by implementing further analyses such as, Correlation Coefficient, Regression Analysis, Hierarchical Clustering Method, and Time Series Analysis on SPSS. Geology and topography of the watershed, controlled by various conditions such as, climate, vegetation, topography, soil, and rain medium, have been affected by the non-homogeneity. Our study suggests that such variables could possibly cause eutrophication problems in the river. One possible way to overcome this particular problem is to lay up a ship on the river by increasing the nasal flow measurement of the Nakdong River during rainy season. Moreover, the water management requires arranging the measurement of the flow in order to secure the river while the numerous construction projects need to be continuously observed. However, the water is not flowing tributary of the reason for the timing to be flowing in a natural state of river water and industrial water intake because agriculture. Therefore, ongoing research is needed in addition to configuration of all observations.

This study adopted two instruments, i.e. Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14: index of patient's subjective oral health impact) and Todai Health Index (THI: index of patient's subjective systemic health) The Purpose of this study was to determine potential effects of oral health upon systemic health and quality of life (QOL) and provide required basic reference data for developing oral diseases prevention program and public oral health improvement As a result, it may contribute to improving health and quality of life in local community. Analysis on OHIP for subjective oral health conditions revealed that there were significant differences among all categories of self-aware oral health conditions on statistic basis and good oral health group showed significantly higher total OHIP points (4.33) than any other group. Analysis on THI for subjective oral health conditions showed that there were significant differences among all categories of self-aware oral health conditions on statistical basis and very good oral health group got higher total THI points (3.83) than any other group. Analysis on QOL for subjective oral health conditions suggested that there were significant differences among all categories of self-aware oral health conditions but social category and good oral health group got highest total QOL points (3.39) of all groups.
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationships among obesity, eating-out behaviors, and eating habits in the housewives living in Busan and Gyeongnam Province. In order to analyze the data obtained from 249 housewives, SPSS statistical program 17.0 was used. Also, frequency, factors, $x^2$-test, and cluster analyses were conducted as well as one-way ANOVA analysis. The results of the analyses have shown that their average height was 160.75 cm, and their average weight was 57.51 kg. Their BMI was investigated resulting in normal weight being 56.6%, overweight and obesity 37.0%. Concerning the number of eating out opportunities a month, 65.5% said under four times. Their per capita cost of eating out was between 7001 Won and 11,000 Won, being 34.9%. The purpose of eating out was family occasions being 44.2%. Those who were accompanied by them were their family members. and relatives being 63.8%. Their favorite restaurants were public restaurants being 47.8%. It was investigated that they got the information about eating-out through their acquaintances being 79.1%. According to the results of the cluster analysis by the factor of their eating habits, Cluster 1 was named as Intermediate Eating Habits group, Cluster 2 as Not Good Eating Habits group, and Ouster 3 as Good Eating Habits group. There were significant difference (P<0.01) in the difference analysis between the three clusters and the eating habits factor. This study showed that 37% of housewives in the Busan and Gyeongnam area were classified as overweight and obese and needed to change their eating behavior. The reason why obesity in the age group of those over 51 was higher than those under 30 was their going through menopause.
