The Non-Principal Axis (NPA) rotators can be clues to spin evolutionary processes of asteroids because their excited spin states evolve due to either internal or external forces. The NPA rotation of (5247) Krylov was confirmed by Lee et al. (2017) based on KMTNet photometric observations during the 2016 apparition. We conducted follow-up observations in 2017 apparition using the 0.6-2.1m telescopes in the northern hemisphere to determine the spin state and shape model of this asteroid. We found that it is rotating in the Short Axis Mode (SAM) based on the determined rotation period ($P_{\psi}=374.6hr$) and precession period ($P_{\phi}=67.48hr$). The greatest and intermediate principal inertia moments are nearly the same as $I_b/I_c=0.94$, but the smallest principal inertia moments are nearly half that of the others, $I_a/I_c=0.43$. This ratio of principal inertia moments suggests that dynamically equivalent shape of this asteroid is close to that of a prolate ellipsoid. In this presentation, we will provide the physical model of (5247) Krylov to discuss its possible spin evolutionary processes that acted on its spin.
The NMR chemical shift arising from 4d electron angular momentum and 4d electron angular momentum and 4d electron spin dipolar-nuclear spin angular momentum interactions for a $4d^1$ system in a strong crystal field environment of trigonal symmetry, when the threefold axis is chosen to be the axis of quantization axis, has been examined. A general expression using the nonmultipole expansion method (exact method) is derived for the NMR chemical shift. From this expression all the multipolar terms are determined. We observe that along the (100), (010), (110), and (111) axes the NMR chemical shifts are positive while along the (001) axis, it is negative. We observe that the dipolar term (1/R3) is the dominant contribution to the NMR chemical shift except for along the (111) axis. A comparison of the multipolar terms with the exact values shows also that the multipolar results are exactly in agreement with the exact values around $R{\geqslant}0.2$ nm. The temperature dependence analysis on the NMR chemical shifts may imply that along the (111) axis the contribution to the NMR chemical shift is dominantly pseudo contact interaction. Separation of the contributions of the Fermi and the pseudo contact interactions would correctly imply that the dipolar interaction is the dominant contribution to the NMR chemical shifts along the (100), (010), (001), and (110) axes, but along the (111) axis the Fermi contact interaction is incorrectly the dominant contribution to the NMR chemical shift.

This investigation deals with the spin-up flows in a circular container of aspect ratio, 2.0. Shear front is generated in the transient spin-up process and propagating from the side wall to the central axis in a rotating container. Propagation of the shear front to the axis in a rotating container means the region acquires an angular momentum transfer from the solid walls. Propagating speed of the shear front depends on the apparent viscosity of polymer solution. Two kinds of polymer solutions are considered as a working fluid: one is CMC and the other is CTAB solution. CMC solution has larger apparent viscosity than that of water, and CTAB shows varying apparent viscosities depending on the applied shear rates. Transient and spatial variations of the apparent viscosities of the present polymer solutions (CTAB and CMC) cause different speeds of the propagating shear front. In practice, CMC solution that has larger values of apparent viscosity than that of water always shows rapid approach to the steady state in comparison of the behavior of the flows with water. However, for the CTAB solution, the speed of the propagating of the shear front changes with the local magnitude of its apparent viscosity. Consequently, the prediction of Wedemeyer's model quantitatively agrees with the present experimental results.
IASL(iodo acetamide) and MSL(maleimide) disordered the orderly helix arrangement of myosin in the rest state of spin level. Especially the effect of IASL was great. Equatorial reflection(10,11) change inferred that myosin head was moved to the vicinity of actin filament by spin level. The intensity change of 143 $\AA$ and 72 $\AA$ could offer infor-mation of the mass projection of population of myosin heads along the filament axis. The slope of intensity profile of the mass projection of 143 $\AA$ and reflection of IASL is appeared and that of MSL is appeared sharply. The dec-rease of 215 $\AA$ reflection intensity the periodical characteristic of 143 $\AA$ reflection by spin label. The raise of MSL actin reflection at 51 $\AA$ and 59 $\AA$ in the actin reflection change refers that the shifted myosin head binds a certain actin or changes an actin structure by spin label effect. Because iodo acetamide has a tendency to decease the actin reflection, actin dose not bind myosin head. From this result, we could conclude that LASL and MSL are spin labeled on SH of myosin head and disordered the helix arrangement of actin.
MTJ devices are fabricated using metal shadow masks and switching characteristics are investigated under 2 dimensional magnetic field. When the hard axis field is less than $\pm$ 16 Oe, switching behavior is similar to that based on the Stoner-Wohlfarth model. As the hard axis field is larger than $\pm$ 16 Oe, deviation from the expectation by Stoner-Wohlfarth model is observed. These phenomena are induced by the generation of multi-domain and inhomogeneous magnetization reversal.
The NMR chemical shift arising from 3d electron spin dipolar nuclear spin angular momentum interactions for a 3d$^2$ system in a strong crystal field environment of octahedral symmetry has been investigated when the fourfold axis is chosen to be our axis of quantization. The NMR shift is separated into the contribution of 1/R$^5$ and 1/R$^7$ terms. A comparision of the multipolar terms with nonmultipolar results shows that the 1/R$^5$ term contributes dominantly to the NMR shift and there is in good agreement between the exact solution and the multipolar results when R ${\ge}$ 0.25. A temperature dependence analysis may lead to the results that the 1/T$^2$ term has the dominant contribution to the NMR shift for a paramagnetic 3d$^2$ system but the contribution of the 1/T term may not be negligible.
We conducted a micromagnetic modeling study to investigate the spin torque oscillator (STO) using a perpendicular polarizer. We used an additional layer of negative anisotropy constant materials (NAM) on a conventional STO. For the NAM layer, the magnetic easy plane is parallel to the in-plane easy axis of the free layer, and inhibits the development of the out-of-plane component of the magnetization in the free layer. As a result, this new type of STO provides a high frequency limit up to 50 GHz.
We study the electron spin resonance line-width (ESRLW) of $Fe^{3+}$ in crystalline $LiNbO_3$ ; the ESRLW is obtained using the projection operator method (POM) developed by Argyres and Sigel. The ESRLW is calculated to be axially symmetric about the c-axis and is analyzed by the spin Hamiltonian with an isotopic g factor at a frequency of 9.5 GHz. The ESRLW increases exponentially as the temperature increases, and the ESRLW is almost constant in the high-temperature region (T>8000 K). This kind of temperature dependence of the ESRLW indicates a motional narrowing of the spectrum when $Fe^{3+}$ ions substitute the $Nb^{5+}$ ions in an off-center position. It is clear from this feature that there are two different regions in the graph of the temperature dependence of the ESRLW.
The attitude stability of a satellite in spin-stabilized injection mode which contains a liquid pool is investigated. The satellite model for investigation is a two-body system consisting of a the main body, which is symmetric and rigid, representing the spacecraft, and a spherical pendulum, representing the liquid pool. Assuming that both spacecraft and pendulum are in states of steady spin about the symmetry axis of the spacecraft, the coupled nonlinear equations of motion for the system are simplified. In this paper, by using the multiple scales method, the possible resonance conditions in terms of the system parameters are determined and the corresponding near-resonant solutions are derived.
