LTE 통신을 이용한 부표형 어군탐지기 개발 (The development of buoy type fish finder using LTE communication)

  • As a method to understand the ecological habits around the artificial reef, various reports such as fishing gear survey, diving, sound survey, underwater CCTV and camera, etc. are reported. Among them, the sound survey method is carried out by installing an acoustic system on the ship and can be investigated regardless of the marine environment such as time constraints and turbidity. Such method, however, takes a lot of manpower and time as the ship travels at a constant speed. Investigations around artificial reefs are being conducted in an artificial way, and a lot of time and labor are consumed as such. Maritime buoys have been operated for various purposes such as route signs, weather observation, marine environment monitoring and defense monitoring for navigation safety in the past, but studies on monitoring systems for ecological habits and distribution of fish using marine buoys are remarkably insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to develop a system that allows users to directly monitor fish group detector data by estimating the distribution of fish groups around artificial reefs and using wireless communication at sea. In order to confirm the suitability of the maritime buoy used in this study, it was operated to compare data using LTE-equipped buoys capable of wireless communication and a data logger-type system buoy. Data transmission of buoys capable of LTE communication was carried out in a 10-minute ON, 10-minute OFF method due to the limitation of the power supply capacity, and data of the data logger-type buoy received full data. We compared and analyzed the data received from the two fish detectors. It is expected that real-time monitoring of the wireless buoy detection device using LTE will be possible through future research.

수중운동체 교전 시뮬레이션을 위한 이산 사건 및 이산 시간 혼합형 시뮬레이션 모델 구조 기반의 전투 공간 모델 개발 (Development of Battle Space Model Based on Combined Discrete Event and Discrete Time Simulation Model Architecture for Underwater Warfare Simulation)

  • 본 논문에서는 전장 환경 요소 및 플랫폼 모델 간 상호 교환 정보를 통합하여 관리하는 전투 공간 모델(Battle Space Model)을 제안한다. 전투 공간 모델은 전장의 지형 정보와 환경 요소를 저장하는 Geographic Information System(GIS) Model, 플랫폼 모델 간 상호 교환 정보에 전장 환경 요소의 영향을 고려하는 Propagator Model, 플랫폼 모델 간 상호 교환 정보를 저장하는 Logger Model, 그리고 플랫폼 모델 간의 상호 작용(encounter) 시점을 예측하고 상호 작용 시점까지 시간을 건너뛰는 Spatial Encounter Predictor(SEP) Model로 구성된다. 또한 이산 사건 및 이산 시간 혼합형 시뮬레이션 모델 구조로 구성되어 있는 플랫폼 모델과 추가 작업 없이 직접 연결하기 위해, 전투 공간 모델 또한 이산 사건 및 이산 시간 혼합형 시뮬레이션 모델 구조로 구성하였다. 본 연구에서는 전투 공간 모델을 적용하여 수중운동체 교전 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 이를 통해 플랫폼 모델 각자가 반영하던 전장 환경 요소를 전투 공간 모델이 일괄적으로 반영함으로써 플랫폼 모델 개발을 단순화 할 수 있었다. 또한 각 플랫폼 모델은 다른 플랫폼 모델과의 정보 교환을 고려하지 않고 전투 공간 모델과의 정보 교환만을 고려하면 되므로, 플랫폼 모델을 중립적으로 구성할 수 있었다.

트랙터 변속기의 부하 스펙트럼 개발 (Development of a Load Spectrum of Tractor Transmission)

  • This study was intended to develop a load spectrum acting on a transmission of agricultural tractors. Transmission loads were measured at the input shaft of the transmission and final drive shaft of the tractors. The measurement were conducted in five field conditions at two speed levels under plowing operations in Korea. Two torque transducers were developed for the respective load measurements and other necessary instrumentations were made to collect the data and store them in a data logger. The time-histories of the torque loads were analyzed and transformed into the load spectra using the rainflow counting and Smith-Watson-Topper methods. Comparisons of the load spectra developed under different conditions were made to investigate their characteristics. The effects on the load levels of soil and plowing speeds were also investigated. Finally, a load spectrum combining the results of the spectrum analysis was developed and proposed as a load source for the reliability test of transmissions.

MDA를 이용한 엔진 가속 불량 진단에 관한 연구 (Case Study on Engine Trouble analysis and Diagnosis Using MDA)

  • In this study, the cause of the acceleration failure of Hyundai Motor's 2.0-liter CRDi engine was analyzed. We tried to find problems through MDA (Measuring Data Analyzer) based on data such as vehicle speed, air intake, and air-fuel ratio obtained during the actual driving process. As a result, it was analyzed that the failure of the EGR valve exceeded the NOx emission standard and caused a decrease in engine output. Through this study, it is possible to reduce the time and cost of unnecessary maintenance and repair, and it is expected that a rapid cause analysis will be possible in the case of new failure diagnosis in the future.

  • 진공예냉장치에서 상대습도변화 및 냉각온도변화에 따른 야채류의 온도변화에 대하여 고찰한 논문이다. 실험장치는 진공챔버, 이젝트펌프, 냉동기장치, 계측장치 및 냉각수 계통으로 구성되어 있다. 실험결과 야채류의 냉각속도는 야채류의 함수율에 크게 의존하고 있으며, 함수율이 높은 야채가 낮은 야채에 비하여 냉각속도가 증가하는 것을 알 수 있다.

The Change in Fuel Moisture Contents on the Forest Floor after Rainfall

  • Forest fuel moisture content is a crucial factor influencing the combustion rate and fuel consumption during forest fires, significantly impacting the occurrence and spread of wildfires. In this study, meteorological data were gathered using a meteorological measuring device (HOBO data logger) installed in the south and north slopes of Kangwon National University Forest, as well as on bare land outside the forest, from November 1, 2021, to October 31, 2022. The objective was to analyze the relationship between meteorological data and fuel moisture content. Fuel moisture content from the ground cover on the south and north slopes was collected. Fallen leaves on the ground were utilized, with a focus on broad-leaved trees (Prunus serrulata, Quercus dentata, Quercus mongolica, and Castanea crenata) and coniferous trees (Pinus densiflora and Pinus koraiensis), categorized by species. Additionally, correlation analysis with fuel moisture content was conducted using temperature (average, maximum, and minimum), humidity (average, minimum), illuminance (average, maximum, and minimum), and wind speed (average, maximum, and minimum) data collected by meteorological measuring devices in the study area. The results indicated a significant correlation between meteorological factors such as temperature, humidity, illuminance, and wind speed, and the moisture content of fuels. Notably, exceptions were observed for the moisture content of the on the north slope and that of the ground cover of Prunus serrulata and Castanea crenata.

  • The feasibility study must be conducted for construction of complex for generation of electric power such as items to get permission and grid connection etc. including wind resource to construct a complex for wind power generation. Since wind power can be used by converting only around 20~40% of energy coming in that kinetic energy of wind passes through blades and driving device into electric energy, when constructing a complex, the survey of wind resource takes up the most important part. Data logger used to measure this wind energy are expressed by calculating generally electromotive that is created from a sensor, variable-type, pulse-type signal to be proper for the actual value, and most data loggers have a type without considering geographical features. Besides, in the case of Met mast that is installed to survey the wind resource, since it is installed lower than the hub height of a wind power generator due to permission matters and the economic factors, the height of wind speed by utilizing Deacon equation is compensated to revise this. In this study, a device measuring wind speed was made by using algorithm that is possible to compensate the height of wind speed according to regional features and by applying Deacon equation, and the function of data storage through SD card or RS232 communication was added as well. Besides it's possible to check data more easily with a type of graph by using LCD touch screen for the convenience of users.

대구지역 디젤하이브리드 버스의 실도로 주행 성능 분석 (On-Road Driving Performance Analysis of Diesel-Hybrid Bus in Daegu Metropolitan Area)

  • In this study we analyzed the on-road driving performance of two parallel-type diesel-hybrid buses which have been driven in Daegu metropolitan area. A real-time on-board data logger was facilitated to measure the vehicle information such as vehicle speed, idle stop, state of charge of battery, and engine operating conditions. These diesel-hybrid buses ran as a commuter at Daegu Exco area and Dalsung industrial complex. The driving pattern in Exco area comprised more frequent idle stop and relatively lower speed than at Dalsung area, where comprised no idle stop. Due to those different driving patterns, the fuel economy at Dalsung showed $3.7\;km/{\ell}$, which is about 8% higher than that of Exco. The main causes of this come from the higher portion of regenerative braking and higher speed which moves to the operating points of diesel engine with a lower fuel consumption.

PSC박스거더교 상부슬래브에서의 시간의존적 변형률 분포 (Distribution of Time-dependent Strains In the Top Slab of PSC Box Girder Bridge)

  • PSC(Prestressed Concrete) box girder bridges have been widely applied in Korea. A number of these bridges have been built by the segmental construction method in the longitudinal direction and(or) vertically along the cross-sectional depth with MSS(Moving Scaffolding System). An actual 2-span continuous PSC box girder bridge of Kyeongbu high speed railway was selected and instrumented with 96 vibrating wire embedded type strain gauges and 2 thermocouples. The long-term behavior of the bridge was monitored through two major points located at mid-span of the first span and at the internal support. Data collection started just after the casting of the first segment (U section). Concrete strain and temperature data were gathered regularly by a data logger (CR10) during 600 days under and after construction. According to this measurement, the parabolic longitudinal strain distribution in the top slab at mid-span is shown. And also, the same distribution at the interior support is shown. The compressive strains at the cantilever region are larger than at the web position and the internal part in the top slab. Strain difference largely happened during the early construction period.

실시간 해양관측을 위한 표준형 등부표용 시스템 연구 (A Study on Standard Ocean Lighted Buoy Type System for Real-time Ocean Meteorological Observation)

  • 본 논문에서는 해양 위치에 따른 다양한 해양 정보를 관측하기 위하여 기존에 설치된 등부표를 활용한 해양관측 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 해양관측 시스템은 기존 표준형 등부표용 형태로써 등부표에 손쉽게 연결이 가능한 구조로 구성되어 있다. 제안한 해양관측 시스템은 기존 해양에서 관측하고 있는 유의파고, 최대파고, 평균파고, 수온을 측정하며 추가적으로 기압, 기온, 풍향/풍속까지 실시간 측정이 가능하다. 해양관측에서 중요한 파고를 측정하기 위해서는 10분 동안 2200개의 파고 데이터를 수집하며 수집한 자료는 스펙트럼 분석을 통하여 유의파고와 파주기 데이터를 추출한다. 개발된 시스템은 등부표 위에 해양관측 시스템이 부착이 되기 때문에 필터를 사용하여 노이즈를 제거한다. 본 논문에서는 검증된 기존 부이형태의 해양관측 시스템과 개발한 표준형 등부표용 해양관측 시스템의 측정 데이터를 비교 분석한다. 또한 비교 실험을 통하여 개발한 표준형 등부표용 해양관측 시스템이 기존 해양관측 시스템과 데이터가 유사하다는 것을 증명하였다.
