A Study on Facility Information System using GIS and Semantic Web in Underground Space

  • The utilization of underground space has recently increased with the complication of road, the rise of the land price, and the development of green technology. Underground space ranges from classical excavations to subway, underground cities, and shopping malls where there are crowds of people. At this time, government has spent a lot of money in installing various types of safety facilities for preparations of increasing potential disasters. Therefore, an effective facility management system is required. In this paper, we propose an information retrieval process to effectively extract the facilities' information based on the ontology and spatial analysis in underground space. The ontology-based searching supports hierarchical and associated results as well as knowledge sharing with hierarchy concepts. The spatial analysis based searching has "Buffer" and "Near" functions to operate on a map without understanding any property of the facility information.

  • 기존에 개발된 저궤도위성의 원격명령어와 텔레메트리 시스템은 다양한 외부 인터페이스를 효과적으로 수용하는 데 한계가 있었다. 본 논문에서는 이를 극복하기 위한 저궤도위성의 원격명령어와 텔레메트리의 개발 방안을 소개한다. 특히 최근 유럽에서 인공위성의 원격명령어 및 텔레메트리 운용에 이용하고 있는 PUS (Packet Utilization Standard) 개념을 검토하여 차세대 저궤도위성의 데이터 처리에 이용하고자 한다.

An Improved Carrier-based SVPWM Method By the Redistribution of Carrier-wave Using Leg Voltage Redundancies in Generalized Cascaded Multilevel Inverter

  • The carrier-based space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM), which is considered as highly simple and efficient PWM technology, can be also used in multilevel inverters. The method was originally designed for the two-level inverter and developed to the diode clamped multilevel inverter structure. however it may be noted that it also cause bad switch utilization in cascaded multilevel inverter. This paper introduces an improved carrier-based SVPWM scheme, which is fully suitable for cascaded multilevel inverter topologies because it can achieve the optimized switch utilization through the redistribution of the triangular carrier waves considering leg voltage redundancies while having the advantages of the conventional carrier-based SVPWM. Using simulation and experimental results, the superior performance of new PWM method is shown.

  • Multiplex have many screen in one place and provide customer Multiple Entertainment Option. Today multiplex cinema is a new culture place for the public to approach most easily in Korea. It also gave a chance to recognize how important a popular culture place is. but it has a problem that this space wasn't designed for customer and don't have even a rest area for them as they focused only on economic growth. therefore, in this study, it point's the utilization of Service Areas problems and provide basic data of interior design for customer.

  • Renewable energy information becomes one of the greatest issues, but it is difficult for a general user to manage and utilize new renewable energy information. Therefore we develop the utilization system of the resource map which aimed to provide the information for space analysis and vertification of the validity for development of each part of solar, wind, smallhydro, biomass, geothermal. But this system is needed to gather more supporting data and make resonable index to make various decisions.

  • Due to an inability to accommodate for the rapidly increasing number of printed materials, Korean academic libraries are facing serious space shortage problems. Very few academic institutions have the funds to expand existing libraries or construct new facilities in order to accommodate the influx of printed materials. Despite not having the luxury to create new space, many establishments continue to implement the open access system. Seeing that such a system is only user friendly when used in a spacious facility, the maintenance of the open access system is unreasonable. Only few libraries consider the space efficient closed access system which helps to resolve storage space shortage. In the current state of the problem, improving the efficiency to which books are stored in existing storage areas within a library facility is the only appropriate solution. Enacting methods to improve physical space utilization within a fixed volume library facility will undoubtedly diminish the space shortage issue at hand. In this article, several space efficiency improvement approaches are discussed. Methods of book storage plan re-layout (floor, plan, ceiling, height, bookshelf design), book arrangement possibilities, and the reduction of the physical volume of reserved materials are each examined.

공유오피스의 커뮤니티 중심 공간 구성 특성 (Space Composition Characteristics Analysis of the Community-Centered Shared Office)

  • The number of shared offices has increased and changed within the flow of the era into various forms in recent days. Co-working spaces and related shared space businesses are growing fast, keeping pace with the trend recently. It is confirmed that the need of spaces grew 180% since 2015 to 2017. Most of the shared offices in Seoul are placed in Gangnam circle, it is verified that shared office is providing work, space, and community by visiting cases of foreign companies, domestic companies, local companies. Meanwhile, shared space can be categorized into serviced office, co-working space, virtual office, and daily office. It is to consider various target levels by leasing service or the difference of costs. It is divided into forms of dispersion, circulation, and concentration and is planned to increase the utilization of communities' traffic according to the allocation of shared office. The business is conducted network-centered. During the process of communication, members can get chances to exchange and build communities. They are making business ecosystem which they can coexist and grow together. Shared offices have a view of a solution to empty rooms and will last for a while, and it is expected that co-working system be settled as office space and giving people sense of belonging on their workspace.

국내 붙박이장 몸통에 관한 연구 - 한샘, 현대리바트, 에넥스를 중심으로 - (A Study on Closet Body Part in Korea - Focusing on Hanssem, Hyundai Livart and ENEX -)

  • In terms of space application and storage space arrangement, the demand and utilization for practical closet have been increasing. The changing concept of living spaces depending on family composition and consumer taste is very important in terms of organizing, using, and assigning spaces for storage with the use of a closet. In this study, the closet was analyzed and inspected focusing on products manufactured by Hanssem, Hyundai Livart, and ENEX. These are popular furniture makers in Korea that develop closets for the furniture industry.

미국 국내법령상 우주자원 소유권의 국제법상 의의 (International Legal Status of U.S. Citizens Property Right to Space Resources)

  • 우주조약 제2조는 우주공간의 비영유 원칙을 규정하고 있는데, 주권행사 및 여하한 수단에 의해서도 금지된다고 규정하고 있다. 여기서 여하한 수단의 의미와 범위도 모호한 표현 채택의 사례에 속한다. 사인의 소유도 금지됨을 의미하는지가 명확하지 않다. 또한 우주공간은 전 국가를 위하여 이용되어야 한다는 동 조약 제1조의 법적 구속력도 논쟁의 대상이 되어 왔기에, 사인의 소유 금지여부는 다양한 해석 논쟁의 대상이었다. 미국 의회는 지난 2015년도에 우주자원법을 제정하였다. 미국 기업의 우주개발 투자를 둘러싼 법적인 불확실성을 없앨 필요가 있다는 취지하에 우주자원에 대한 사적인 권리의 규정을 담고 있다. 당초 법안 H.R. 1508에서는 다음과 같이 자원에 대한 소유권 규정을 직접 명시하였었다. "우주공간에서 획득된 여하한 행성 자원은 해당 자원을 획득한 주체의 소유물이며, 해당 주체는 연방법 및 국제적 의무에 부합하는 모든 소유권을 갖는다." 여기서 '획득'이라는 표현이 우주조약 제2조에 따른 영유금지와 상충될 수 있다는 의견이 제시되면서, 천연 자원의 이동(remove)이라는 용어가 법안 토의 과정에서 사용되었다. 권리에 있어서, 우주자원법은 소유권이라는 용어를 택하지 않고, 행성 자원 또는 우주 자원을 상업적으로 회수(recovery)하는 업에 종사하는 자는 그러한 자원에 대한 권리를 갖는 바("shall be entitled to), 그러한 권리는 미국의 국제법상 의무를 포함하여 적용될 수 있는 법에 따라서 적법하게 획득된 행성 자원 또는 우주자원을 점유, 소유, 운송, 이용 및 판매할 권리를 포함한다고 규정하고 있다. 우주자원법 제51303조는 사적인 권리가 인정되는 객체는 미국의 국제적 의무를 포함해서 적용 법률에 맞추어서 획득된(obtained) 자원이라고 규정하고 있다. 이를 해석하여 보면, 앞에서 살펴 본 바와 같이, 획득에 의해서 소유권이 부여될 텐데, 그 획득은 미국의 국제적 의무가 고려되어서 적법성이 판단된다. 우주자원법은 미국 기업들의 불확실성을 확실히 해소하지는 않지만, 그러나, 우주자원의 획득을 위한 미국 기업들의 투자를 활성화할 수는 있다고 기대될 수 있고, 그렇다면 향후에 우주자원 획득이 본격화되면서, 그러한 활동이 국제법상 점진적으로 적법화될 가능성도 열려 있다고 판단된다.

도시형한옥의 지속가능한 보전을 위한 현대적 활용방안 연구 - 내부공간의 변화를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Utilization of Modern for Sustainable Conservation of Urban Traditional House - Focus on the Change the Interior Space -)

  • The purposes of this study were to reevaluate urban traditional houses and to propose direction for the conservation and utilization of urban traditional houses in a way of maintaining historical landscape rather than the value of urban traditional houses as components in expanded urban structure. For these purposes, we identified the characteristics of conservation and utilization of urban traditional houses by representative cases and analyzing them exhaustively, and suggested problems in the cinservation and utilization of traditional houses and solution for them. The current conservation system for Urban Traditional House in the Bukchon area is applied to non-residential Urban Traditional House differently according to the owner's consciousness of conservation because there is no support system for non-residential Urban Traditional House. Accordingly, there should be standardized criteria to maintain the landscape of the Bukchon area in terms of beauty formed by the elevation of Urban Traditional House and the continuity of roofs while accommodating various functions. As in total conservation or partial conservation, the interior remodeling of individual houses may be allowed but the three-dimensional external appearance composed of the outer walls, fences and roofs of Korean-style houses should be repaired and improved in a way of maintaining the image. In order to utilize Urban Traditional House in the Bukchon area, plans should be made in consideration of its location, historicity and tradition. We may expect the utilization of traditional cultural facilities and their surrounding areas as alternative cultural spaces. Such use of individual Urban Traditional House should be extended by linearly and areally and suggest the direction of conservation and utilization.
