내러티브 프로세스 분류 모델 기반 애니메이션 OST의 음악적 요소 분석 (Animation OST Musical Element Analysis based on A Narrative Process Classification Model)

  • The OST (Original Sound Track) in the film plays a vital role in increasing consensus and concentration to the storyline. The selected 4 animations are classified into 17 Narrative Processes (NP) by using NP Classification Model [1]. For the NPs each having OSTs, the authors have investigated 6 kinds of objective musical elements of the OST such as sound (speech, music, effect), tonality, tempo, range, intensity, and instrumentation. It is found that there are 33.3% common musical elements among all of them for the NPs with OSTs commonly. Among them, it is also found that there are 71.9% of common properties of the musical element. This research is meaningful by firstly showing that there are common properties of objective musical elements in each NP and the corresponding OST.

몇가지 어류 및 갑각류의 발음과 주음성에 관한 연구 (Study on Sound Production and Phonotaxis of Some Fishes and Crabs)

  • 몇 가지 어류와 갑각류의 식이음과 울음소리를 분석하고, 그 소리를 방음할 때의 주음반응을 조사 연구하였다. 1. 어류의 식이음의 주파수는 참돔(Chrysophrys major)과 말쥐치(Navodon modestus)는 63~125Hz로서 낮고, 까치복(Fugu xanthopterus)은 400~500Hz로서 높으며, 소조기(Nibea albiflora)와 방어(Seriola quinqueradiata)는 그들의 중간인 125~250Hz이였다. 말쥐치와 참돔의 식이음과 음압은 55~59db로서 낮고, 까치복은 60~64db로서 높으며, 소조기와 방어는 57~62db로 이들의 중간이었다. 2. 수조기의 울음소리의 주파수는 125~250Hz로서 식이음과 같으나, 음압준위는 62~63db로서 식이음보다 높았다. 3. 갑각류의 울음소리의 주파수는 왕게(Scylla serrata)가 125~250Hz로서 낮고, 민꽃게(Charybdis japonica)와 왕밤송이게(Telmessus acutidens)가 500~1,000Hz로서 높으며, 꽃게(Portunus trituberculatus)는 250~500Hz로서 그들의 중간이었다. 음압준위는 왕게가 68~70db로서 높고, 꽃게, 민꽃게와 왕밤송이게는 54~61db로써 낮았다. 4. 수조기와 방어의 식이음에 대한 주음률은 56~87%였으며, 말쥐치와 까치복은 주음성을 확인하기 어려웠다. 수조기의 울음소리에 대한 주음률은 52~63%였다. 5. 수조기, 방어, 까치복, 말쥐치, 참돔 등은 주파수가 50~9,000Hz인 정현파에는 주음하지 않았다. 6. 꽃게의 울음소리에 대한 주음은 대형군(갑폭 15.1~18.5cm)이 방음할 때, 소형군(8.5~12.5cm)의 주음률(13~58%)보다는 소형군이 방음할 때 대형군의 주음률(44~98%)이 높았다. 중소형군(각폭 8.5~15.0cm)까지는 암컷이 방음할 때 수컷의 주음률(88~100%)은 암컷의 주음률(56~91%)보다 높은 편이며, 수컷이 방음할 때 수컷의 주음률(19~63%)보다 암컷의 주음률(66~100%)이 높은 편이었다.

소리자극에 대한 멸치의 반응 (Response of Anchovy to Artificial Sounds)

  • 漁類의 食餌音, 游泳音 또는 低周波의 純音을 水中에 放音하여 漁類를 誘集하는데 成功하였다는 報告는 最近에 많이 發表되고 있다. 반대로 天敵이 내는 소리, 人工的으로 내는 소리의 剌戟으로 漁類의 驅集劾果을 내기 위한 연구는 희소하다. 末廣(1960)는 고기를 묵적한 장소에 쫓아 보내기 위해 대나무 장대로 水面을 두들겨서 고기를 그물속으로 쫓아 넣을 수 있다고 보고 했다. 또 寶際 韓國의 權現網漁業에서 2集의 網船이 曳網하여 曳網終期가 되면 날개부분에 있는 멸치는 자루쪽으로 후려넣기 위하여 漁艇에서 뱃삼, 드럼통, 꽹과리 등을 두들긴다. 저자는 본 실험에서 이것을 驅集劾果를 測定하여 보다 劾果的인 方法을 糾明하기 위하여 이들 소리의 音源에서 1m 떨어진 거리에서 指示騷音計로 音歷準位를 測定하면서 하고 그 錄音된 소리를 水中擴聲器를 통하여 無響水糟속의 멸치에게 放음했으며, 이들 소리가 명치를 驅集하는데 어느 정도 有效한가를 알기 위하여 멸치의 反應을 調査하였다.

Temperature Gradient for Tire Pavement Noise Measurement

  • Sound pressure level (SPL) measurements were performed on a controlled test track vehicle coast-by runs of a passenger vehicle with six different sets of tires across a range of temperatures. A small but significant reduction of noise level with positive temperature increases was observed for some tires. The temperature gradient of the different tires at 80㎞/h ranged from -0.07 to + 0.01 dB/℃. Frequency analysis of the tire noise identified that noise content in the range of 1,300 to 1,900Hz was particularly sensitive to temperature changes. Differences in SPL due to speed and tire type were much greater than that due to temperature.

홀극음원 모델링을 이용한 고속전철 터널 충격성 소음해석 (Tunnel Sonic Boom Analysis using monopole source modeling)

  • When a high-speed train enters a tunnel, a compression wave is generated. This wave subsequently emerges from the exit portal of the tunnel, which causes an impulsive noise called 'Sonic boom' or 'micro-pressure wave'. In the present study, new method is presented for prediction of sonic boom noise, especially focusing on the effect of the nose shape of the train on the resultant noise. Acoustic theory for monopole source is used to represent a nose shape of the train in wave equation. Compression wave propagation in tunnel considering tunnel track condition and emission of sonic boom was calculated. The predicted compression waves and impulsive sound waves are compared with recent measurements, and show reasonable agreements.

철도차량의 전동음 예측에 관한 연구 -차륜과 레일의 소음 기여도 분석- (A Study on Prediction of Rolling Noise for Railway -Noise Contribution of Wheels and Rail-)

  • The major source of railway noises is rolling noise caused by the interaction of the wheels and rails. This rolling noise is generated by the roughness of the wheel /rail surface on tangent track in the absence of discontinuities such as wheel flats or rail joints. These roughness cause relative vibrations of the wheel and rail at their contact area. The vibrations generated at the contact area are treansmitted through the wheel and rail structures exciting resonances of the wheel and travelling waves in the rail. Then these vibrations radiate noise to the wayside. In this paper we predict the rollingnoise radiated from radial/axial motion of the wheel and vertical/lateral motion of the rail using Remington's analytical model and then compare of the predicted sound pressure and measured one. Although there are some inaccuracy in our prediction. these results show in good agreement between 500 Hz and 3150 Hz.

Improvement of the Accuracy of Supershort Baseline Acoustic Positioning System by Kalman Filter

  • Underwater acoustic navigation and position fixing systems have been extensively used not only in surface position fixing but also in underwater position fixing. Tn recently, application of these systems has been in the field of underwater inspection of offshore platforms, where it is vital to track the position of an unmanned submersible or diver carrying underwater cameras and nondestructive testing equipment. But these systems are included the fixing errors as results of a signal with additive noise, the attenuation of sound and the interference effects due to multipath reflection and forward scattering. In this paper to improve the position fixing by the supershort baseline acoustic position system, a method to apply the Kalman filter to the fix of the system is proposed and the digital simulation under noise condition is conducted. The optimal positions by the Kalman filter are compared with original positions, and it is confirmed that the results of the pro-posed method are evidently more accurate.

Pass by Noise Test Site Variability

  • The objective of this paper is to compare the site-to-site variability of ISO 10844 pass by the noise test sites. In order to investigate the site-to-site variance of test surfaces, European commercial tires are tested at seven different test sites. Three Korea test sites and four Europe test sites are selected. The pass by noise test is done according to a 2001/43/EC regulation. Although the ISO surface has a very specific track composition, it does not reduce the variation of pass by noise measurements over the surface of test sites. This paper shows that the test results of pass by noise level are different depending on the test sites. The correlation obtained in this work is able to predict the pass by noise level for certain test site using the data measured from another test site. The prediction value is range with an error within 1dB(A).

  • Passengers in automobile or train are exposed to a worse noise environment when they are in the tunnel than in the open field. This is due to a relatively higher space density of sound energy by multiple reflection phenomenon of noise generated by operation of transportation vehicles from tunnel wall compared to open field. In this study, noise characteristics of subway train running through a tunnel were investigated at straight/curved track and tunnel type(semi circular/box). Also the noise measured simultaneously at inner and outer sides of train running through a tunnel, so that the coherence of the various noise sources of subway train to inner noise was evaluated.

  • This paper presents development of a user-friendly automatic control system for ESR(Electro-Slag Remelting or Refining) process. It is a second-phase refining one, commonly applied to production of high-purity specialty steel. A primarily refined castingot acts as a consumable electrode and melts by the electric resistance heat generated when high current is induced through a slag bath. The quality of product is evaluated by its chemical composition, purity, micro-structure, uniformity, mechanical property, etc. To meet the standards, above all things, the process should be kept sound and the melt rate should track the optimum profile irrespective of environment variations.
