다공관 출구로부터 방사된 충격성 소음의 전파특성 (Propagation Characteristics of the Impulse Noise Emitted from the Exit of a Perforated Pipe)

  • This experimental study describes the propagation characteristics of the impulse noise emitted from the exit of a perforated pipe attached to the open end of a simple shock tube. The pressure amplitudes and directivities of the impulse wave propagating from the exit of perforated pipe with several different configurations are measured and analyzed fur the range of the incident shock wave Mach number between 1.02 and 1.2. In the experiments, the impulse waves are visualized by a Schlieren optical system for the purpose of investigating their propagation pattern. The results obtained show that for the near sound field the impulse noise strongly propagates toward to the pipe axis, but for the far sound field the impulse noise uniformly propagates toward to the all directions, indicating that the directivity pattern is almost same regardless of the pipe type. Moreover, it is shown that for the far sound field the perforated pipe has little performance to suppress the impulse noise.

  • 전력수요의 증가 및 도심지역의 확대로 도심지내 변전소에 전력용 변압기의 설치가 필요하나, 변전소의 전력용 변압기에서 발생하는 소음으로 인한 민원이 증가하고 있다. 따라서 전력용 변압기에서 발생하는 소음의 전파를 차단하기 위하여, 옥외 변전소의 전력용 변압기에는 방음벽을 적용하여 왔으며, 옥내 변전소에는 방음문, 방음 셔터 및 풍도형 방음장치 등을 적용하여 왔다. 그러나 이러한 방법에 의한 소음저감 효과는 만족할 정도에 이르지 못하는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 전력용 변압기로부터 발생되는 소음을 효과적으로 차단하기 위해 변압기 차음실을 개발하였다. 개발한 변압기 차음실은 154[kV] 변압기에 적용하여 120[Hz] 성분에서 15[dB]의 소음저감 효과를 확인하였다.

광대역 신호의 주파수 영역 간섭 패턴을 이용한 해저면 음속 추정 연구 (A Study on Estimation of the Sound Speed of Seabed from the Frequency-dependent Interference Pattern of Broadband Signal)

  • 음원과 수신기 사이의 거리가 고정된 상태에서 측정한 광대역 천이 신호의 스펙트럼에 나타나는 간섭 패턴으로부터 모드차단 주파수를 인식하고 이로부터 해저면 음속을 추정하기 위해 수치 모의 및 실험 결과 분석을 통해 고찰하였다. Pekeris 도파관 환경에 대한 수치 모의 결과는 주파수 변화에 따른 전달 손실 및 간섭 패턴 변화가 모드 차단 주파수와 밀접한 관련이 있으며 간섭 패턴의 변화로부터 모드 차단 주파수를 인식하는 것이 가능할 수 있음을 보여주었다. 수치 모의를 통해 고찰한 개념을 해상 실험을 통해 획득한 신호에 적용하여 모드 차단 주파수를 인식하고 해저면 음속을 추정하였다. 추정된 음속을 모델 입력 인자로 이용하여 예측한 전달 손실은 손실 수준 린 간섭 패턴에서 실험 결과 분석을 통해 산출한 것과 매우 유사한 결과를 나타내었다.

부산 실내사격장 화재의 연소 확대 및 발화원인 분석 (Analysis of Propagation of Deflagration and Fire Cause in the Busan lndoor Shooting Range)

  • 본 논문은 부산 실내사격장 화재와 관련하여 불과 수 초 이내에 급격하게 연소 확대된 원인에 대하여 연구하였다. 급속한 연소 확대 원인 분석을 위하여 실내사격장에 광범위하게 사용되는 스펀지형 흡음재의 연소실험을 수행하였다. 흡음재 연소 실험결과, 일반형의 경우, 착화와 동시에 급속히 연소되는 특징을 나타내었다. 난연 처리된 흡음재는 착화와 동시에 자체 소화되는 특성을 나타내었으나, 화약잔사를 난연 흡음재에 부착시키는 경우, 착화와 동시에 급격히 연소되는 결과를 나타내었다. 발화원인에 대한 분석을 위하여 총기사용 과정에서 발생되는 유탄의 비산거리 및 크기를 실측하였으며, 화약잔사에 대한 충격 강도 실험 결과를 바탕으로 최소 착화 에너지를 계산하였다. 유탄의 충격 후, 탄속 감소 및 유탄의 크기에 따른 운동에너지 계산을 통하여 유탄이 화약잔사에 충격하는 경우, 충분한 발화 가능성이 있음을 확인하였다.

입사각에 따른 흡음재의 반사 계수 측정 방법론 및 오차에 대한 고찰 (Measurement of Reflection Coefficient of Sound Absorbent Material with Respect to Angle of Incidence and Its Associated Errors)

  • The reflection coefficient of a material at oblique incidence is measured in a free field. The sound pressure distributions are measured at discrete points on two measurement lines and then decomposed into plane wave components by using spatial Fourier transform. The inciedent and reflected plane wave components are obtained from a set of "decomposition equations" of which uses the plane wave propagation theory. Numerical simulations and experiments have been performed to see the effect of finite size of measurement area. To reduce this effect, a window fuction has been performed to see the effects of finite size of mesurement area. To reduce this effect, a window function has been proposed and its effect on the measurement of sound absorbing material property has been studied as well. The reflection coefficient obtained by this method is compared with those obtained from other methods; 2-microphone method in a duct and an expirical equation of which determines the characteristic impedance .rho.c and propagation constant k of a material from flow resistance information.formation.

고가선로에서 철도소음 전파예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Pediction of Train Noise Propagation From an Elvated Railway)

  • To predict the noise propagation from an elevated railway, sound radiation characteristics of elevated structure are measured by using the sound intensity method. In the base of the results, we propose the source model of elevated structure noise and the calculation model for elevated railway noise. Acoustic model of the former is modeled a row of single sources with directivity cos .theta. positioned in the center of a bogie and arranged in the lower side of slabs. Also prediction model is presented with rolling noise and elevated structure noise calculated by considering the power level of a source for one-third octave band, ground absorption and barrier deflection. Noise level unit patterns of a passing train is calculated based on this model and the results are compared with available field data.

  • The propagation characteristics of the impulse wave discharged from the exit of a perforated pipe is investigated through a simple shock tube facility. The pressure histories and directivities of the impulse wave propagating outside from the exit of pipe with several different configurations are analyzed for the range of the incident weak shock wave Mach number between 1.02 and 1.2. In the shock tube experiments, the impulse wave are visualized by a Schlieren optical system for the purpose of understanding its propagation characteristics. The experimental results show that for the near sound field the impulse noise strongly propagates toward to the pipe axis, but for the far sound field the impulse noise uniformly propagates toward to the omnidirections, indicating that the directivity pattern is almost same regardless of the pipe type. Especially, it is shown that the perforated pipe has a little performance to reduce the impulse noise only for the near sound field

  • Sound measurement experiments and Finite Element analysis are carried out to understand the characteristics of the noise propagation and structure of the compressor in this research. Noises generated from the compressor on various conditions are measured to classify the transmission path of the noise propagation with respect to the sources. The experiment results show that noises attributed to the shell bending resonant modes accounts fer a major portion of the spectra and that damping spring of the discharge pipe have a damping effect on some frequency range. Constructions of the FE model show that the curvature of the upper shell is very important for the resonance of the upper shell. And, present upper shell has a difficult shape to be manufactured. And, in this research, shape optimization is conducted to increase the strength of the shell for the reduction of the noise. Sound spectrum of noise from the modified compressor verified the sound reduction.

  • Construction equipment noise has caused much annoyance for a number of dwellers in nearby construction field and has become a very serious issure in our living environment. Therefore, in our country, a practical solution and a better method of reducing construction equipment noise are highly required in construction field. Practical solutions for the construction equipment noise, however, are very difficult because of the poorness of basic data and insufficiency of the existing research. Especially, in order to establish the sound insulation plan about pilling works noise with high sound pressure level and impactive, a real situation of sound characteristics about the noise of pilling works in foundation work demands more detail investigation. In this point, this study attempts to survey the characteristics of attenuation and propagation of construction equipment noise in pilling work using SIP(soil-cement injected precast pile) method with casing. And this study intends to get the basic data for establishment of a standard about construction noise.

금속와이어 흡음재의 흡음성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Absorption Performance of Steel-Wire Sound Absorbing Materials)

  • The acoustic performances of steel-wire sound absorbing materials with different thicknesses and bulk densities were investigated experimentally. The well-known two-cavity method was used to measure the characteristic impedance, propagation constant and absorption coefficient. The normal absorption coefficients measured by two-cavity method agreed well with those by the two-microphone impedance tube method. The experimental results showed that the magnitude of the absorption coefficient and the frequency range of the maximum absorption coefficient were controllable by changing the thickness and bulk density of the steel-wire. Therefore, the steel-wires obtained from the crushed tire chips could be used as a good absorbing material.
