소프트웨어의 크기가 커지고 복잡도가 증가함에 따라 소프트웨어 품질의 중요성은 점점 증대되고 있다. 소프트웨어의 품질 향상을 위해 소프트웨어 개발 조직은 테스트와 동료검토와 같이 제품 품질 향상을 위한 노력과 CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration), 소프트웨어프로세스 품질인증 기준과 같은 프로세스 품질 향상 노력을 하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 소프트웨어 분야의 품질 관리의 노력과 효과에 소요되는 품질비용에 대한 연구는 제조업이나 건설업 등 타 분야에 비해 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 소프트웨어 프로세스 개선을 위한 모델인 CMMI의 성숙도 레벨에 기반하여, K사의 품질비용관리 방안 적용 결과를 바탕으로 CMMI 성숙도 각 레벨마다 소프트웨어 개발 조직이 품질비용을 관리를 위한 목적과 활동으로 정의된 품질비용 관리 모델의 개발을 연구하였다.

SoC(System on Chip) technology is widely used in the field of embedded systems by providing high flexibility for a specific application domain. An important aspect of development any new embedded system is verification which usually requires lengthy software and hardware co-design. To reduce development cost of design effort, the instruction set of microprocessor must be suitable for a high level language compiler. And FPGA prototype system could be derived and tested for design verification. In this paper, we propose a 16 bit FPGA microprocessor, which is tentatively-named EISC16, based on an EISC(Extendable Instruction Set Computer) architecture for embedded applications. The proposed EISC16 has a 16 bit fixed length instruction set which has the short length offset and small immediate operand. A 16 bit offset and immediate operand could be extended using by an extension register and an extension flag. We developed a cross C/C++ compiler and development software of the EISC16 by porting GNU on an IBM-PC and SUN workstation and compared the object code size created after compiling a C/C. standard library, concluding that EISC16 exhibits a higher code density than existing 16 microprocessors. The proposed EISC16 requires approximately 6,000 gates when designed and synthesized with RTL level VHDL at Xilinix's Virtex XCV300 FPGA. And we design a test board which consists of EISC16 ROM, RAM, LED/LCD panel, periodic timer, input key pad and RS-232C controller. 11 works normally at 7MHz Clock.
We need a component-based system to reflect software changes in user's requirements, to implement a system at a rapid speed as well as to efficiently manage the system in a maintenance phase and to easily change software. Moreover, the component-based system has a merit in development cost. However, existing component development methodology for implement of component-based system is inefficient in object identification for component identification. Moreover, the existing component development methodology also fails to provide any method to identify system component. It merely provides procedures and methods to identify business component focused on a whole system domain. In addition, it has another problem that it considerably relies on developer's experiences and intuitions for component identification. Therefore, according to this paper, RUP (Rational Unified Process) is applied from a requirement analysis phase to an object identification phase in order to improve the inefficiency of object identification. In addition, this paper procedures and methods for system component identification, and identifies business components based on the identified system component, rather than on the whole system domain. This paper also provides and applies cohesion metric and coupling metric so as to overcome the problem that component identification depends on developer's intuitions and experiences. Accordingly, the component identification method proposed in this paper, may identify components more effectively based on facility of object identification, functional reusability of components, traceability, and independence of components.
The priority of requirement is important because the priority is a critical activity of release plan especially in software development which has an open market customer. Also, it is important for stakeholders to select a method and aspects to prioritize requirements. The selection is based on the organizational experience of a priority process, the process model of the product, goals and a type of products, and dependencies between requirements. But, the current researches considered only static dependency between requirements and did not suggest a systematic priority process. In addition, the current researches only suggest limited aspects to prioritize requirements, such as cost and value. Therefore, this paper proposes an adjustable priority process based on a priority model to select a method and aspects for the suitable priority for product and organization. Especially, this paper enhances the completeness of a release plan by a definition of static and dynamic dependency types between requirements. This paper suggests a priority model, which considers the dependencies between requirement and various viewpoint of software development. Based on the priority model, the paper suggests a systematic priority process to promote reasonable decisions to the priority and release plan of requirement.
Flash memory has penetrated our life in various forms. For example, flash memory is important storage component of ubiquitous computing or mobile products such as cell phone, MP3 player, PDA, and portable storage kits. Behind of the wide acceptance as memory is many advantages of flash memory: for instances, low power consumption, nonvolatile, stability and portability. In addition to mentioned strengths, the recent development of gigabyte range capacity flash memory makes a careful prediction that the flash memory might replace some of storage area dominated by hard disks. In order to have overwriting function, one block must be erased before overwriting is performed. This difference results in the cost of reading, writing and erasing in flash memory[1][5][6]. Since this difference has not been considered in traditional buffer replacement technologies adopted in system software such as OS and DBMS, a new buffer replacement strategy becomes necessary. In this paper, a new buffer replacement strategy, reflecting difference I/O cost and applicable to flash memory, suggest and compares with other buffer replacement strategies using workloads as Zipfian distribution and real data.
This paper formulates a problem of embedded real-time system re-engineering, and presents its solution approach. Embedded system re-engineering is defined as a development task of meeting performance requirements newly imposed on a system after its hardware and software have been fully implemented. The performance requirements nay include a real-time throughput and an input-to-output latency. The proposed solution approach is based on a bottleneck analysis and nonlinear optimization. The inputs to the approach include a system design specified with a process network and a set of task graphs, task allocation and scheduling, and a new real-time throughput requirement specified as a system's period constraint. The solution approach works in two steps. In the first step, it determines bottleneck precesses in the process network via estimation of process latencies. In the second step, it derives a system of constraints with performance scaling factors of processing elements being variables. It then solves the constraints for the performance staling factors with an objective of minimizing the total hardware cost of the resultant system. These scaling factors suggest the minimal cost hardware upgrade to meet the new performance requirement. Since this approach does not modify carefully designed software structures, it helps reduce the re-engineering cycle.

One of the crucial components in building information modeling (BIM) is data. To systematically manage these data, various research studies have focused on the creation of object breakdown structures and property sets. Specifically, crucial data for managing programs and payments involves work breakdown structures (WBSs) and cost breakdown structures (CBSs), which are indispensable for mapping BIM objects. Achieving this requires disassembling CBS quantities based on 3D objects and WBS. However, this task is highly tedious owing to the large volume of CBS and divergent coding practices employed by different organizations. Manual processes, such as those based on Excel, become nearly impossible for such extensive tasks. In response to the challenge of computing quantities that are difficult to derive from BIM objects, this study presents methods for disassembling length-based quantities, incorporating significant portions of the bill of quantities (BOQs). The proposed approach recommends suitable CBS by leveraging the accumulated history of WBS-CBS mapping databases. Additionally, it establishes a unified CBS code, facilitating the effective operation of CBS databases.
PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to analyze the requirements of the road traffic safety moderator robot when road repairing. The road traffic safety moderator robot is road traffic safety equipment and to conversions mechanical engineering and IT when road repairing. METHODS : The study used AHP based on the survey from road repair related expert that field engineers, design engineers, public officials and professors. The survey used paired comparison. The survey items were safety, convenience and economics. The safety is classified as visibility or efficiency, the convenience is classified as utility or mobility and the economics is classified as initial investment cost or maintenance $ management cost. The survey alternatives were the road traffic safety moderator robot, traffic regulation by human, traffic regulation by mannequin and traffic signs. The software for AHP is Expert Choice 2000. RESULTS : The results of AHP analyze, the weighted value of safety was analyzed with the highest at 0.488 of survey items. The weighted value of convenience was analyzed at 0.295, the weighted value of economics was analyzed at 0.218. The results of the road traffic safety moderator robot, the weight value of efficiency and utility were analyzed with the highest at 0.284 and 0.259 of alternatives. The weighted value of initial investment cost and maintenance & management cost were analyzed with the lowest at 0.203 and 0.211 of alternatives. The consistency test results of each items, null hypothesis is rejected because the CR values were 0.000 respectively. Therefore, the study results are consistency. CONCLUSIONS : The result of this study, overall value of the road traffic safety moderator robot came off second-best of other alternatives. The road traffic safety moderator robot has been received highest praise by the result of the study as good road traffic safety equipment when road repairing because the weighted values of efficiency and utility were analyzed with the highest of survey items. The efficiency mean securing safety and the utility mean practical assistance when road repairing. The results of this study showed that the road traffic safety moderator robot will effective for traffic safety when road repairing. economics and visibility are that supplementation of the road traffic safety moderator robot because the weighted values of economics and visibility were analyzed with the lowest of survey items. The consistency test results are consistency because the CR values were 0.000 respectively.
Purpose - The ICT market in the EU is lagging behind that of the US; however, algorithm and software development within the EU have grown steadily, and they involve focusing on the creative cultural convergence conceptualized as part of Horizon 2020 and connecting neighboring markets in the EE and the Mediterranean region. It is essential to study the requirements to market the EU's creative ICT development in emerging industrial countries after examining its applicability in these countries. Research design, data, and methodology - This study deals with data pertaining to the EU's creative industry and competitive edge. The global cultural expansion of the EU facilitates a new concept involving not only low-cost IT products to enhance local cultural artifacts through R&D and the construction of efficient infrastructure services, but also information exchange with a realistic commercialization of the technology that can be applied for creative cultural localization. In the European industry, research on algorithms has been applied for the benefit of consumers. We investigated how the process is conducted in the EU. Results - Europe needs to adjust its economic structure to the local culture as part of IT distribution convergence. The convergence has been converted into a production algorithm with IT in the form of low-cost production. This is because there is an attempt to improve the quality of transport infrastructure, workforce availability, and the distribution of the distance to the local industries and consumers, using IT algorithms. Integrated into the manufacturing industry, based on the ICT infrastructure and solutions, smart localized regional clusters are formed with the help of grafting. Europe has own strategy to increase the number of hub-and-spoke cities. Europe is now becoming integrated, with an EPC system for regional cooperation rather than national competition in ICT technology. Europe has also been recognized in this study as changing the step-by-step paradigm for global competitiveness through new creative culture industries. Conclusions - As a result, there are several ways of converging with others through EU R&D intensity; therefore, the EU can be seen as successfully increasing marginal value, which is useful in developing a special industrial cluster or local cultural cities that create converged development by connecting people and objects with IT. In fact, when compared to the US, Europe has a strong culture and the car industries have a tendency to overshadow the IT industries with integration of services in IT distribution. Considering the rapid environmental changes, the convergence of IT services is likely to take place in Europe, similar to the pharmaceutical industry and the automotive industry. This requires a focus on human resources and automated systems management. The trend is to move away from low-wage industries, switched to key personnel centers of the local university-industry. EU emphasizes the creation of IT market demand in Europe involving local cultural convergence for marketing as the second step to strengthen the economic hub-and-spoke areas.

The successful operation of a product In service depends upon the effective provision of logistic support in order to achieve and maintain the required levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Logistic support encompasses the activities and facilities required to maintain a product (hardware and software) in service. Logistic support covers maintenance, manpower and personnel, training, spares, technical documentation and packaging handling, storage and transportation and support facilities.The cost of logistic support is often a major contributor to the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) of a product and increasingly customers are making purchase decisions based on lifecycle cost rather than initial purchase price alone. Logistic support considerations can therefore have a major impact on product sales by ensuring that the product can be easily maintained at a reasonable cost and that all the necessary facilities have been provided to fully support the product in the field so that it meets the required availability. Quantification of support costs allows the manufacturer to estimate the support cost elements and evaluate possible warranty costs. This reduces risk and allows support costs to be set at competitive rates.Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) is a management method by which all the logistic support services required by a customer can be brought together in a structured way and In harmony with a product. In essence the application of ILS:- causes logistic support considerations to be integrated into product design;- develops logistic support arrangements that are consistently related to the design and to each other;- provides the necessary logistic support at the beginning and during customer use at optimum cost.The method by which ILS achieves much of the above is through the application of Logistic Support Analysis (LSA). This is a series of support analysis tasks that are performed throughout the design process in order to ensure that the product can be supported efficiently In accordance with the requirements of the customer.The successful application of ILS will result in a number of customer and supplier benefits. These should include some or all of the following:- greater product uptime;- fewer product modifications due to supportability deficiencies and hence less supplier rework;- better adherence to production schedules in process plants through reduced maintenance, better support;- lower supplier product costs;- Bower customer support costs;- better visibility of support costs;- reduced product LCC;- a better and more saleable product;- Improved safety;- increased overall customer satisfaction;- increased product purchases;- potential for purchase or upgrade of the product sooner through customer savings on support of current product.ILS should be an integral part of the total management process with an on-going improvement activity using monitoring of achieved performance to tailor existing support and influence future design activities. The military standards refer to specialized government infrastructures and are too complex for commercial application. The methods and benefits of ILS, however, have potential for much wider application in commercial and civilian use. The concept of ILS is simple and depends on a structured procedure that assures that logistic aspects are fully considered throughout the design and development phases of a product, in close cooperation with the designers. The ability to effectively support the product is given equal weight to performance and is fully considered in relation to its cost.The application of ILS provides improvements in availability, maintenance support and longterm 3ogistic cost savings. Logistic costs are significant through the life of a system and can often amount to many times the initial purchase cost of the system.This study provides guidance on the minimum activities necessary to Implement effective ILS for a wide range of commercial suppliers. The guide supplements IEC60106-4, Guide on maintainability of equipment Part 4: Section Eight maintenance and maintenance support planning, which emphasizes the maintenance aspects of the support requirements and refers to other existing standards where appropriate. The use of Reliability and Maintainability studies is also mentioned in this study, as R&M is an important interface area to ILS.
