  • In this paper, we have presented the implementation plan for the Server interface and how to implement the Client GUI interface of a form you can use Android considerations and ERP Interface methods available in mobile devices, with iOS. It provides in the form of Web services using TCP / IP, how to handle the data, communication of Client and Server in mobile devices, coordination of ERP that can be used in mobile devices by presenting how to send in XML format it presented a new method which can be performed more efficiently.

  • The Service had a purpose to be heard through the Smart Phone APP and Smart TV Broadcasting Contents to Foreigner's Language in The Asia Culture Center. This Paper explained how to realize foreigner with Beacon's Signal and IoT gateway provided the voice service with selected his language using AllJoyn Protocol Interface function. IoT Service Platform received the Registration of foreigner's identifier, there sent messages to all devices, which were all IoT gateways, IoT gateway could connect to foreigner's Smart Phone App and heard the Broadcasting contents. If a foreigner went out of Beacon's management distance, the voice App service were released.

  • In this study, the vibration-based tactile actuator for smart wear applications is presented by using piezoelectric ceramic transducers. The compact wireless actuation system is constructed with a high voltage piezoelectric amplifier, a microcontroller, wireless communication module, and rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. For the wireless communication between a hardware and an operator, the bluetooth-based wireless communication system is prepared and the user interface is provided via smart phone applications. From a series of experimental user studies, it is demonstrated that the proposed vibro-tactile actuator based on piezoelectric ceramic transducers can be effectively applied to smart wear applications.

  • We introduce new type of networked robot, Ubiquitous Robotic Companion (URC), embedded with ATLAS Service-oriented architecture for enhancing the space sensing capability. URC is a network-based robotic system developed by ETRI. For years of experience in deploying service with ATLAS sensor platform for elder and people with special needs in smart houses, we need networked robots to assist elder people in their successful daily living. Recently, pervasive computing technologies reveals possibilities of networked robots in smart spaces, consist of sensors, actuators and smart devices can collaborate with the other networked robot as a mobile sensing platform, a complex and sophisticated actuator and a human interface. This paper provides our experience in designing and implementing system architecture to integrate URC robots in pervasive computing environments using the University of Florida's ATLAS service-oriented architecture. In this paper, we focus on the integrated framework architecture of URC embedded with ATLAS platform. We show how the integrated URC system is enabled to provide better services which enhance the space sensing of URC in the smart space by applying service-oriented architecture characterized as flexibility in adding or deleting service components of Ubiquitous Robotic Companion.

  • In this paper, we take advantage of the SEN Remote HMI App as a tool based on Raspberry Pi server for the smart home control. This is a smart home control system built in an open and a low-cost Raspberry Pi as a server, and take advantage of Android-based graphical programming software SEN Remote HMI. If you build it based system expansion and additional works interface via the Raspberry Pi and Arduino, it is expected to be extended to the Internet of Things (IoT) enabling environment for the implementation of smart home.

Comparative study about the user experience, product attitudes, and repurchase intention regarding smart phone UI(User Interface) in Korea and China (스마트폰의 UI(User Interface)에 대한 사용자 경험과 제품태도 및 재구매의도에 관한 한·중 비교 연구)

  • This study intends to look into the perception gap among Korean and Chinese consumers regarding the product attitudes toward smart phones and repurchase intention as well as the user experience. First, this study showed that there are gaps among Korean and Chinese consumers, regarding smart phones, toward their experiences of usage satisfaction, usefulness, design satisfaction, and evaluation from other people and that Chinese consumers have higher awareness of every experience element concerning UI than Korean consumers. Second, concerning the difference in the product attitudes toward smart phones, it turns out that Chinese consumers also have higher awareness of it than Korean consumers. Third, regarding the difference in repurchase intention for smart phones among Korean and Chinese consumers, this study shows that Chinese consumers are likely to have more intention than Korean consumers. because their average value is higher than Korean consumers' even though the difference are not statistically significant. This study is expected to have academic meaning(significance) for providing basic materials of comparative study between two countries regarding the user experience about smart phone as well as some useful implications for the competitive power improvement of Korean smart phone related companies in China.

An Advanced User-friendly Wireless Smart System for Vehicle Safety Monitoring and Accident Prevention (차량 안전 모니터링 및 사고 예방을 위한 친사용자 환경의 첨단 무선 스마트 시스템)

  • This paper presents an On-board Smart Device (OSD) for moving vehicle, based on a smooth integration of Android-based devices and a Micro-control Unit (MCU). The MCU is used for the acquisition and transmission of various vehicle-borne data. The OSD has threefold functions: Record, Report and Alarm. Based on these RRA functions, the OSD is basically a safety and convenience oriented smart device, where it facilitates alert services such as accident report and rescue as well as alarm for the status of vehicle. In addition, voice activated interface is developed for the convenience of users. Vehicle data can also be uploaded to a remote server for further access and data manipulation. Therefore, unlike conventional blackboxes, the developed OSD lends itself to a user-friendly smart device for vehicle safety: It basically stores monitoring images in driving plus vehicle data collection. Also, it reports on accident and enables subsequent rescue operation. The developed OSD can thus be considered an essential safety smart device equipped with comprehensive wireless data service, image transfer and voice activated interface.

  • 본 논문에서는 실시간으로 변하는 사용자의 컨텍스트를 고려하여 재구성되는 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하기 위한 인터페이스 제공 시스템 및 저작 도구에 관한 기술을 소개한다. 차별적 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 사용자가 컨텐츠를 소비하고 있는 시점에서의 컨텍스트를 해석하고 이를 반영한 유기적이고 적응적인 사용자 인터페이스를 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 사용자 인터페이스를 반응적으로 구성하고 이를 저작하는 도구에 대한 연구는 웹 기술의 발전과 함께 오랜 기간에 걸쳐 연구되었지만 단순 서비스 조합이나 물리적 GUI 생성에 관한 연구가 주를 이루고 있고 표준화된 컨텍스트와의 유기적 연결성을 고려한 연구는 사례 연구 정도에 머물러 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹을 기반하여 세부 기술에 대한 이해 없이 컨텍스트 기반 사용자 인터페이스를 구성하고 서비스 할 수 있는 시스템과 저작 도구에 대해 소개하고 향후 연구 방향에 대해 논의한다.

Reliable and Secure Voice Encryption over GSM Voice Channel

  • In this paper, we study and develope a special secure Dongle to be adapted in GSM SmartPhone for secure voice communication to the serial 20-pin connector in SmartPhone. We design and implement the Dongle module hardware, firmware, and software including cipher crypto-synchronization and cipher algorithm. Also we study and emulate the SmartPhone GUI software interface including communication software module to the Dongle. Finally, we analyze the performances of crypto-synchronization in some noisy environment and also we test the secure Dongle module.
