  • The purpose of this paper is to obtain the solution of Fredholm-Volterra integral equation with singular kernel in the space $L_2(-1, 1)\times C(0,T), 0 \leq t \leq T< \infty$, under certain conditions,. The numerical method is used to solve the Fredholm integral equation of the second kind with weak singular kernel using the Toeplitz matrices. Also the error estimate is computed and some numerical examples are computed using the MathCad package.

  • Let T be the singular integral operator with nonsmooth kernel which was introduced by Duong and McIntosh, and $T_q(q{\in}(1,{\infty}))$ be the vector-valued operator defined by $T_qf(x)=({\sum}_{k=1}^{\infty}{\mid}T\;f_k(x){\mid}^q)^{1/q}$. In this paper, by proving certain weak type endpoint estimate of L log L type for the grand maximal operator of T, the author establishes some quantitative weighted bounds for $T_q$ and the corresponding vector-valued maximal singular integral operator.

  • In this paper the linear algebraic system obtained from a singular integral equation with variable coeffcients by a quadrature-collocation method is considered. We study this underdetermined system by means of the Moore Penrose generalized inverse. Convergence in compact subsets of [-1, 1] can be shown under some assumptions on the coeffcients of the equation.

  • The two-state or mutual M-integral which is derived from tile M-integral and is applicable for two elastic states, is applied for computing all intensity of a singular near-tip field around the vertex of a class of wedge, encountered in adhesive lap joints under mechanical loading. Numerically we verify that a simple auxiliary field associated with every eigenfunction for the composite wedge under consideration exists in the form of the conjugate solution in the sense of tile M-integral. The auxiliary field is then employed for superposition with the elastic field under consideration, and the associated two-state M-integral is computed via the domain integral technique. This enables us to extract the intensity for a singular field information for a singular elastic boundary layer is extracted form the domain integral representation without resort to singular finite element for the wedge vertex.

  • For curved crack problems in plane elasticity, subjected to the traction conditions on the crack faces, we present a system of boundary integral equations. The procedure is based on the indirect boundary integral method in terms of real variables. For efficient mathematical analysis, we decompose the singular kernel into the Cauchy singular part and the regular one. As a result, solvability of the presented system is proved and availability of the present approach is shown by the numerical example of a circular arc crack.

  • In this paper we shall prove some weighted norm inequalities of the form $${\int}_{R^n}\;|Tf(x)|^pu(x)dx\;{\leq}\;C_p\;{\int}_{R^n}\;|f(x)|^pNu(x)dx$$ for certain rough singular integral T and maximal singular integral $T^*$. Here u is a nonnegative measurable function on $R^n$ and N denotes some maximal operator. As a consequence, some vector valued inequalities for both T and $T^*$ are obtained. We shall also get a boundedness result of T on the Triebel-Lizorkin spaces.

  • In this paper, the weighted Lp boundedness of multilinear commutators and multilinear iterated commutators generated by the multilinear singular integral operators with generalized kernels and BMO functions is established, where the weight is multiple weight. Our results are generalizations of the corresponding results for multilinear singular integral operators with standard kernels and Dini kernels under certain conditions.

  • In this paper, we carried out a new numerical approach for solving integral algebraic equations with weakly singular kernels. The novel method is based on the construction of B-spline tight framelets using the unitary and oblique extension principles. Some numerical examples are given to provide further explanation and validation of our method. The result of this study introduces a new technique for solving weakly singular integral algebraic equation and thus in turn will contribute to providing new insight into approximation solutions for integral algebraic equation (IAE).
