The purpose of this study is to analyze the fashion style of Kate Middleton, the Royal Family, and to examine the social and cultural influence of Middleton fashion. We selected 314 photographs collected from a Google site and Gettyimages.com April 2011-December 2016 as the final research subjects. We categorized the situation by domestic events, royal events, diplomatic activities, and social contribution activities, and analyzed fashion styles focusing on item composition, color, material, silhouette, detail, trimming, and length. As a result of the study, the one piece was the highest in the combination of items, and the color was the most in white. The color tones were mostly vivid, and the material texture was silky. The image was classic, and the dress code was high in semi-formal. In a situational style, the coat was the most common at the Royal Family events and blue or white of the light tones appeared in the formal style of the classic image. In domestic events, there were many silky textures of modern image, and vivid, strong tonal knee length H line dress was the most prevalent. During diplomatic activities, various colors such as red, green, gray appeared in addition to blue or white and in social contribution activities, many dresses of vivid and dark tones of red appeared in the dress code as semi-formal. In conclusion, the stylistic features of Kate Middleton and the Royal Family are largely in the form of royal and noble, low cost and chic, and body-conscious styling.

목적 : Broad-beam Simulator-CT 개발을 위한 예비연구로서 통상의 모의 치료 영상에서 축상면, 시상면, 관상면 영상을 구현하려 하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 120kVp, 2mAs 동일 조건에서 갠트리 각도를 $4^{\circ}$ 간격으로 90장의 필름을 얻어 입체적인 Filtered back-projection을 시도하였다 외곽선을 찾아 제거하였고, 산란선 성분을 Deconvolution 방법으로 제거하여 좋은 영상을 얻도록 하였다. 결과 : 이 방법으로 축상면, 시상면, 관상면 영상을 얻었으며 각 방향에 대해 동일한 분해능을 갖았다. 그러나 영상의 질은 대단히 나빴다. 결론 : Broad-beam으로 된 CT 영상을 구현할 수 있었다. 이를 위하여 산란선 성분의 Deconvolution이 필요하였으며, 입체적인 back-projection을 실시하였으므로 축상, 시상, 관상 모든 방향에 대해 동일한 분해능을 갖고 있어서 DRR 등 Simulator-CT에 응용할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 실용적인 임상응용을 위해서는 영상의 질 개선이 필요하였다.

This study compares and analyzes bridal wedding styles in Korean and Chinese SNS. For this, 715 photos (362 in Korea and 353 in China) collected on social media (Instagram and Xiaohongshu) were used for analysis. The bridal wedding style was divided by item into wedding dress, makeup, and hairstyle, and detailed characteristics of images and designs were examined through content analysis and statistical analysis. First, in the case of Korea, many wedding dresses showed ball gowns and mermaid silhouettes, white colors, and no details and trimmings. As for the makeup, transparent and natural skin expression, straight eyebrows, and pink and peach lip colors were highlighted; and as for hairstyles, many long hair with half-covered ears appeared. Second, in China, a ball gown, mermaid silhouette, and white color are often seen in wedding dresses, and point colors and use of various details and trimmings are noted. The makeup showed a lot of bright skin expression, brown and black eyebrows, and red and brown lip colors. As for hairstyle, a lot of long hair with completely exposed ears appeared. Third, the comparison of bridal wedding styles between Korea and China indicated that China used relatively more details and trimmings in wedding dresses. As for makeup, Korea has a natural image, and China has a classic image. As for the hairstyle, there were many styles in which Koreans had half the ears covered, and Chinese had no bangs and completely exposed ears.

지능형 비디오 분석시스템은 불특정 다수의 객체가 가지는 행동을 분석하고, 불의의 사고를 사전에 예측하여 관리자에게 경고를 전달하는 기술을 필요로 한다. 본 논문은 적응적으로 배경을 생성하여 월담, 실신, 버려진 물체, 배회와 같이 사전에 정의된 이상행위를 분석하는 기술을 제안한다. 제안된 비디오 분석 시스템은 배경 생성과 이상 행위 분석 모듈로 구성된다. 강건한 배경 생성을 위해서 영상 내의 움직임 변화를 검출하여 매 순간마다 움직임이 없는 영역을 지속적으로 갱신하고, 이를 기반으로 객체를 검출한다. 또한 객체 검출의 정확성을 높이기 위해 검출된 결과에서 잡음과 그림자 제거 단계를 추가하였다. 이상행위 분석 모듈에서는 검출된 객체로부터 무게 중심, 실루엣, 크기, 이동 궤적 정보를 추출한다. 이때 이상행위의 판단은 월담, 실신, 버려진 물체, 배회에 따라 시나리오 환경으로 구성하고 분석하였다. 실험 결과에서 제안된 시스템은 복잡한 배경 환경에서도 이동 객체 검출 및 이상행위 분석이 가능하였다.

This case study is to embody the birth of a beautiful goddess out of seashells in a contemporary fashion design collection, on the basis of the mythology of The Birth of Venus. The main theme attempts to reinterpret the image of the goddess of love and beauty and express the organic vitality of seashells and oceanic feelings by swirls in motion. To accomplish this, three dimensional silhouette of layered forms of voluminous outer and fitted inner is applied to design ideas with spiral curves. The opposite texture of something sculptural and transparent versus smooth and shiny is used to express the layered structure of seashells with the delicacy of goddess. Neutral colours and different tones of pink appeal to oceanic feelings and feminine emotion in a modern way. Various techniques by the geometric simplicity of flat patterns and pleating with boning are also performed to express the vital movement of organism. Throughout the whole process of this case study, the conceptual idea of Swirls in Motion - a goddess and seashells is reinterpreted to a contemporary fashion by personal and creative design development process. In particular, it is evaluated by the process of primary researches, various design developments and experimentations to the main theme.

Video-based human-activity recognition has become increasingly popular due to the prominent corresponding applications in a variety of fields such as computer vision, image processing, smart-home healthcare, and human-computer interactions. The essential goals of a video-based activity-recognition system include the provision of behavior-based information to enable functionality that proactively assists a person with his/her tasks. The target of this work is the development of a novel approach for human-activity recognition, whereby human-body-joint features that are extracted from depth videos are used. From silhouette images taken at every depth, the direction and magnitude features are first obtained from each connected body-joint pair so that they can be augmented later with motion direction, as well as with the magnitude features of each joint in the next frame. A generalized discriminant analysis (GDA) is applied to make the spatiotemporal features more robust, followed by the feeding of the time-sequence features into a Hidden Markov Model (HMM) for the training of each activity. Lastly, all of the trained-activity HMMs are used for depth-video activity recognition.

This study was conducted to consider the formation of sleeves from the point of view that dress is one of expressive arts. The formative meaning of a sleeve and its chronological formation according to its formative changes as an evidence showing the Internal changes of social culture were examined, centering around day dress of England in the 11th to 19th centuries. Then, sleeves were formatively classified and their aesthetic values were considered to help do formative, aesthetic expression of dress design in the present times. Literatures and references concerning the history of domestic and foreign dress were used as a method of study. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. In the women's dress, the formation of the sleeve focuses on aesthetic decoration. This means that in the androgentric society the status of women are subordinate socioculturally. 2. Sleeves were classified into a fitted shape and a extension shape according to the aesthetic formation. The fluted shape expressed the beauty of body with emphasis old natural body, whereas the extension shape represented aesthetic expression of decoration. 3. The formation of a sleeve has influence on forming an image of dress by making the silhouette of dress natural or distorted, expresses the harmonious beauty of the whole dress, and produces the expressional beauty that gives a distinct characteristic to a dress.

This study focuses on the sportism expressed in the modern fashion. Many factors attribute to the advent of sportism such as rapid development and cultural changes toward sports, increase in leisure time, new fashion materials resulting from new technologies, youth culture and postmodernism. Designers gazing into the future are inspired by the details and functionality of clothing for snow boarding, skiing, rock-climbing and fitness. While the sportswear is the term whith stemmed from the need for functionally in sports, the Sportism is the style inspired by the formative elements, that is, the details, the silhouette, and the colors of the sportswear. New technologies for sports, the powerful influence of youthful culture, and the celebritizations of the sports stars made the sports look more popular. It can be categorized into three aesthetic values, i.e., the functional sportism, the street sportism, and the futuristic sportism. The functional sportism is expressed with the details of function, simplicity, and no useless ornament, the street sportism with fun, androgynous and unisex mode and the image of hip-hop look and traditional look, the futuristic sportism with new high tech fabrics and cyber style. The characters of these are a sence of unisex, sensualness, ostentation, renovation.

Recent changes to ubiquitous computing requires more natural human-computer(HCI) interfaces that provide high information accessibility. Hand-gesture, i.e., gestures performed by one 'or two hands, is emerging as a viable technology to complement or replace conventional HCI technology. This paper deals with hand-posture recognition. Hand-posture database construction is important in hand-posture recognition. Human hand is composed of 27 bones and the movement of each joint is modeled by 23 degrees of freedom. Even for the same hand-posture,. grabbed images may differ depending on user's characteristic and relative position between the hand and cameras. To solve the difficulty in defining hand-postures and construct database effective in size, we present a method using a 3D hand model. Hand joint angles for each hand-posture and corresponding silhouette images from many viewpoints by projecting the model into image planes are used to construct the ?database. The proposed method does not require additional equations to define movement constraints of each joint. Also using the method, it is easy to get images of one hand-posture from many vi.ewpoints and distances. Hence it is possible to construct database more precisely and concretely. The validity of the method is evaluated by applying it to the hand-posture recognition system.

The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristic of Chanel style between modern and postmodern period. The documentary research method was used for this study. The modem period was limited from around 1920 through 1939 and the postmodern period from 1990 through present for this research. The results were summarized as follows: The characteristics of clothing style in modem period were 1) the preference of slim & straight body figure as ideal one and slim & straight clothing silhouette, 2) the high fashion image for the elite by simple & basic design, 3) the emphasis on the harmony by the unity, 4) the tendency of eliminating ornaments on clothing, 5) the discontinuation of traditional way of dress code & style, and 6) the modern style. The characteristics of clothing style in postmodern period were 1) the emphasis on erotic aspects of female body and sexy design, 2) the popularization of high fashion and certain social group's fashion, 3) the tendency of harmony by mix-match, 4) the preference of ornaments in clothing, 5) the preference of retro-fashion, and 6) the continuation of modem style.
