The effects of polymer-cement ratio, antifoamer content and shrinkage-reducing agent content on the setting time and drying shrinkage of high-fluidity polymer-modified mortars using redispersible polymer powder are examined. As a result, the setting time of the high-fluidity polymer-modified mortars using redispersible polymer powder tend to delayed with increasing polymer-cement ratio, regardless of the antifoamer conten,. Irrespective of the antifoamer content, the drying shrinkage of the high-fluidity polymer-modified mortars using redispersible polymer powder tend to decrease with increasing polymer-cement ratio and shrinkage-reducing agent content.

This study investigated about several mix factors came up to drying shrinkage and carbonation of high flowing concrete using viscosity. The results are as follows; Drying shrinkage ratio of high flowing concrete using viscosity showed higher for early age, but lower than normal concrete as long age. Also, drying shrinkage ratio and reduction ratio of mass showed higher and relative dynamic modulus of elasticty showed lower as W/C was higher generally. And in case of high flowing concrete using viscosity, carbonation wasn't confirmed without the kinds of cement and viscosity except 50C.

In case that W/B is 20%, 30%, 40% respectively, the effects of additive and shrinkage reducing agent on the autogenous shrinkage for high strengthen concrete through the substitution of FA and SF analysis were obtained as following conclusions. When the ratio of FA increased, the compressive strength of high strengthen concrete is decreased in the early times. As the ratio of SF increase, the compressive strength also increased. Comparing with PC(Portland Cement) for 7 days curing, the strength is 13.8% of FA10 + SR0.5 and 19.2% of FA15 + SR0.5 decreased when W/B is 20%, and 6.1% of SF7.5 + SR0.5, 4.8% of SF15 + SR0.5, the strength are increased. In case that W/B is 30%, 13.1% of FA10 + SR0.5 19.1% of FA15 + SR0.5 the strength is decreased and 4.1% of SF 7.5 + SR0.5, 7.2% of SF15 + SR0.5 the strength are increased. In case of W/B 40%, 4.3% of FA10 + SR0.5, and 8.7% of FA15 + SR0.5, the strength is decreased and 3.3% of SF7.5 + SR0.5, 6.3% SF15 + SR0.5 the strength is increased. When the ratio of SR is 0.5%, autogenous shrinkage strain of OPC concrete appeared $-417{\times}10-6$ in 56days curing, the shrinkage strain is decreased 23.7%. The reducing effects of autogenous shrinkage when the mineral and shrinkage agent are used are the same as ones when only shrinkage agent used.

Drying Shrinkage has much complexity as it has relations with both internal elements of concrete and external factors. Therefore, experiments on Concrete Drying Shrinkage are carried out in this study under simplified circumstances applying temperature & Humidity test chamber which enables constant temperature and humidity. Comparative analyses have been made respectively according to the consequences aiming at modelling for prediction of Concrete Drying Shrinkage and making out measures to reduce it. Strain Rate of Drying Shrinkage of concrete under the condition of dry air appears to rise by about 20%-30% in proportion as the temperature rises $5^{\circ}C$ when the humidity was held below 10% compared under the condition of dry temperature & Humidity test chamber. Strain Rate of Drying Shrinkage in pit sand concrete increased 20% higher than measured when in river sand under the condition of 90-day material age. A general formula with two variables is derived as follow ${\varepsilon}={\alpha}_1+{\beta}_1x_1+{\beta}_2x_2+{\beta}_3x_1^2+{\beta}_5x_2^2$. and also graphed in 3 dimensions, enabling to apply to actual design and predict Strain Rate of Drying Shrinkage in concrete. The results of prediction of Rate of Drying Shrinkage by Response Surface Analysis are as follows. The coefficient of correlation of Drying Shrinkage in Concrete was over 90%.
The sintering shrinkage behaviors of low temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC) and resistors were compared using commercial LTCC and thick-film resistor pastes, and factors influencing the camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers were also investigated. The onset of sintering shrinkage of the resistor occurred earlier than that of LTCC in all resistors, but the end of sintering shrinkage of the resistor occurred earlier or later than that of LTCC depending on the composition of the resistor. The sintering shrinkage end temperature and the sintering shrinkage temperature interval of the resistor increased as the RuO2/glass volume ratio of the resistor increased. The camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers was obtained using three different methods, all of which showed nearly identical trends. The camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers was not affected by either the difference in linear shrinkage strain after sintering between LTCC and resistors or the similarity of sintering shrinkage temperature ranges of LTCC and resistors. However, it was strongly affected by the RuO2/glass volume ratio of the resistor. The content of Ag and Pd had no effect on the sintering shrinkage end temperature or sintering shrinkage temperature interval of the resistor, or on the camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers.

In this study, various tests are performed for the durability of the concrete using domestic recycled coarse aggregate including drying shrinkage, permeability, freezing-thawing resistance and $CO_2$ diffusivity. Tests of freezing-thawing resistance, chloride ion permeability and $CO_2$ diffusivity of recycled concrete show favorable results. But, the maximum drying shrinkage ratio to normal concrete is increased 24% with increasing substitution ratio of recycled aggregate. Therefore, for the use of recycled concrete in structures, the preventive measures of drying shrinkage is necessary in mix design and the adequate substitution ratio of recycled aggregate should be proposed.

This study grasped the relationship between relative humidity in concrete and concrete shrinkage followed by pre-absorbed water of porous lightweight aggregates through measurements of concrete shrinkage and humidity and comparisons with established research results. It was showed that shrinkage reduction effect of lightweight concrete is 36% at 7 days early ages and 25% at 180 days long-term ages when water-binder ratio is 0.3. It also showed that shrinkage reduction effect is 19% at 7 days and 16% at 180 days when water-binder ratio is 0.4 and 37%, 32% when water-binder ratio is 0.5. The moisture supply effect of lightweight aggregates was remarkable at early age within 7~10 days irrespective of water-binder ratio. In case of waterbinder ratio is 0.3, the relationship between shrinkage and internal humidity of concrete has been underestimated regardless of applied existing model type and in case of water-binder ratio is 0.4, 0.5, measurement values are relatively similar with existing model equations. Finally this study did regression analyses about the relation among the humidity change and the shrinkage strain as a high-degree polynomial and derived parameters that can connect moisture movement analysis with differential shrinkage analysis in case of considering relative humidity at the time by moisture movement analysis of concrete.

This study was performed to evalute mechanical and drying shrinkage properties of polypropylene fiber reinforced high flow concrete. The compressive strength and drying shrinkage ratio were increased with increasing the binder volume ratio and decreased with increasing the content of polypropylene fiber. The splitting tensile strength was increased with increasing the binder volume ratio and the content of polypropylene fiber. The flexural strength was increased with increasing the binder volume ratio and increased by the polypropylene fiber content 0.4%, but above the polypropylene fiber content 0.6% was decreased. This concrete can be used for high flow concrete.
Power net fabric is one of the highly extensible two-way fabrics. Power net structure shows special characteristics in the wearing of final functional clothes. This research evaluated effects of treatment temperature on proportional extensibility and shrinkage ratio of spandex at a given wale length. As treatment temperature increased, extensibility increased proportionally to the standard length of the sample and the shrinkage ratio in the direction of course and wale increased. The pulling-out length increased proportionally to the standard length of the sample. However it was affected by the effect of treatment time and temperature due to the thermal properties of spandex filament yarn.

Slump flow, compressive strength, flexural strength and drying shrinkage were measured to evaluate workability and mechanical performance of geopolymer. Experimental parameters include the addition of gypsum, blending ratio of blast furnace slag and fly ash and addition of shrinkage reducing agent. Geopolymer using blast furnace slag mixed with gypsum showed larger slump flow than blast furnace slag without gypsum. The slump flow when blending ratio of blast furnace slag and fly ash is 5:5 tended to be larger than the slump flow when blending ratio is 8:2. Geopolymer using blast furnace slag without gypsum showed higher compressive strength and flexural strength than blast furnace slag mixed with gypsum. Compressive strength and flexural strength tended to be higher when blending ratio of blast furnace slag and fly ash was 8:2 than when blending ratio was 5:5. Drying shrinkage decreased with increasing fly ash and blast furnace slag without gypsum, and it was found that shrinkage reducing agent is effective to reduce drying shrinkage of geopolymer.
