We have experienced two cases of video thoracosopic excision of mediastinal tumors at the department of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, Yonsei University, College of medicine. Histologically the mediastinal tumors were cystic thymoma in one & bronchogenic cyst in another. The operative times were rather short and the post-operative courses were not eventful. These patients were discharged with less chest discomforts in post-operative 5 days & have been in good conditions to now.

In this paper, we proposed an improved method on the picture order of coding (POC) of MPEG-5 Essential video Coding (EVC) encoder to support a short intra period for Video-based Point Cloud Compression (V-PCC). As a codec-agnostically designed standard, V-PCC claimed to be able to work with a lot of codecs. Current EVC test model software shows that the baseline profile could not provide appropriate POC calculation. The proposed method offers a solution to this POC-related problem and provides up to 44.6% coding grains for EVC based V-PCC.

This paper aims to study the using motivation and influencing factors of Chinese users' participation in live stream shopping through theoretical and empirical analysis, so as to evaluate the change in users' needs and improve marketing strategies. In doing so, I conducted a questionnaire survey for Chinese live stream shopping users and collected the required data. For empirical analysis, I used SPSS and AMOS software to carry out descriptive analysis, reliability and validity analysis and structural equation model analysis (SEM) to test the hypothesis. The results of the analysis showed that core competency and brand personality of the short video industry have a significant impact on user and customer perceived value, thus influencing users' using motivation. That is, users do not blindly follow live stream shopping but make their active choice. Therefore, it is suggested that live stream shopping platform should strengthen the e-commerce attributes and eradicate "the sense of false satisfaction", in order to achieve the effective communication of information. On the other hand, to stimulate the purchase motivation of users, the brand should build up its personality, and enhance user and customer perceived value in cyber marketing.

This study analyzed 284 K-pop song and dance cover short-form videos recreated by Chinese influencers uploaded on TikTok, to explore which reform factors of image similarity, language similarity, the extent of audience participation leading, the extent of lyrics or subtitles translated into Chinese, PPL disclosure, the length of video and the reputation of influencer affected Chinese TikTok audiences' reactions - number of "Likes," "Comments" and "Shares." The results showed that only the "reputation of influencer" was significantly affected the number of "Likes" which estimated as a relatively passive response, but the other factors affected the number of "Comments" and "Shares" significantly which estimated as more active responses. The more an influencer is perceived as not similar to the singer in terms of image the more comments were posted. And the videos expressed in Korean archived more comments and shares than those lyrics or subtitles translated into Chinese. This study is meaningful in that it confirmed the necessity of influencers in the globe diffusion of K-pop, by specifically analyzing the audience's reactions according to the characteristics of UCCs created by local influencers using short-form video platforms.

The fast advances in digital video processing and multimedia processing technology over the last decade enabled various non-linear video browsing techniques. Based on the machine-understanding of the video content, non-linear video brows ing interfaces such as key-frame based content summarization have been introduced. The key-frame based user interfaces, such as storyboard or table of content, however, are still very hard for conventional TV users to use, and are very hard to implement without the service providers providing additional information for the construction of the key-frame based interfaces. In this paper, non-linear video browsing techniques, which not only overcome previously described drawbacks but also are easy-to-use, and real-time video indexing technology to support the proposed browsing techniques are proposed. The structure-based skipping and skimming help users easily find interesting scene and understand the content in a very short time, using real-time video indexing technology.

This paper presents a survey of video coding schemes which use wavelet transform for the videophone on very low bit rate commun ication chan nel( ego 10 Kbps Public Service Telephone Network). Firstly, we introduce the standardization efforts to make the low bit rate videophone architecture and the typical application of low bit rate video coding scheme. Secondly, we summarize the several requirements on videophone, delay, encoder/decoder complexity, low bitrate, and progressive transmission capability. Third, we review the basic theory of wavelet transform without much mathematics. We compare the wavelet transform with short-time fourier transform and subband filters. Fourth, we summarize the video coding schemes proposed so far, and evaluate them with Ule requirements. Lastly, we conclude with fu¬ture research directions.

With advancement of the technique of video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), some surgeons have made great efforts to reduce the number of incisions in the conventional three- or four-port approach. Several studies on cases treated by single-incision VATS and their short-term outcomes were reported. Here, we present our experience with single-incision VATS for the treatment of benign mediastinal diseases.

The purpose of this study is to propose a strategic approach to improve firms competitive advantages by selecting main business body and business sector at the same time. In this study the strategy of an efficient business model for joint logistics is suggested by means of searching for a joint program. The methods applied to this study were literature survey, questionnaire and internet information as well as case studies on advanced domestics and foreign logistics enterprises. The research scope of this study has focused on the joint logistics of SMEs being in the DVD(Digital Video Disk) industry sector. The results of this study are shown as follows ; first, in short terms, main business operating body has, second, in long terms, logistics operating enterprise has a direct effect on the joint logistics operation strategy of the DVD(Digital Video Disk) industry in Korea. The conclusion of this study shows that this method as a model of consequence to increase the joint logistics implementation successfully.

This paper presents an overview of automotive communication technologies, including related technology developments. We describe the latency of Audio Video Bridge (AVB) network as well as purpose the optimized design of the Ethernet network system for automotive. Our design plays a significant role in reducing the delay between components. The proposed approach on realistic test cases showed that there was a delay reduction, approximately 49.4%. It is expected that the optimization method for the actual automotive environment can greatly shorten the time period in the design and development process. The results obtained from the experiments on the delay time present in each function are reliable because average values are obtained through repeated actual tests for several months. It will greatly benefit the industry since analyzing the latency between each function in a short period of time is very important.

This paper proposes a big data sentiment analysis method and deep learning implementation method to provide a webtoon comment analysis web page for convenient comment confirmation and feedback of webtoon writers for the development of the cartoon industry in the video animation field. In order to solve the difficulty of automatic analysis due to the nature of Internet comments and provide various sentiment analysis information, LSTM(Long Short-Term Memory) algorithm, ranking algorithm, and word2vec algorithm are applied in parallel, and actual popular works are used to verify the validity. If the analysis method of this paper is used, it is easy to expand to other domestic and overseas platforms, and it is expected that it can be used in various video animation content fields, not limited to the webtoon field
