전라남도 소재 한식 전문점 상차림 실태 조사 및 개선 방안 -서비스 방식, 배선 방법을 중심으로- (Survey on Table Sewing in Korean Food Restaurants Located in Jeollanamdo and Suggestions for Improvement - Focusing on the Manner of Sewing and Arrangement -)

  • In this study, problems with table serving of Korean Jeollanamdo food were investigated, and methods for improvement were suggested. The manner of food serving and arrangement on tables, as well as the serving space in each case, were investigated in representative restaurants serving Jeollanamdo food. The results showed that most of the Jeollanamdo Korean food have a prototype of a flat serving sprea, wherein the main dish and side dishes are not clearly identified, the demarcation between shared space and personal space is insufficiently made for each serving on the table, and the table is full of side dishes, that are narrow, visually disordered and unhygienic, both in terms of the table setting and arrangement inside bowls. To provide sufficient eating space, elevate awareness of hygienic and clean serving, and identifying the main dish in the table setting, a serving method that is a compromise between the flat spread-out and time-series development was suggested, and an arrangement on the table was defined for the main dish and side dishes. The utilization of table space was also increased by reducing the number of dishes on the table at a given moment. In addition, the dish or bowl and arrangement inside the container were changed in order to distinguish the main dish and side dishes. It is suggested that some of tableware be linked with the special products of the locality so as to make a brand for them, and that a personal mat be used to arrange the tableware for each one, since there are many fermented food items (salted fish, kimchi, fermented paste and sauce, etc.) and boiled food items (stew, steamed dish, boiled dish in sauce, etc) that look dark and unfocused. In addition, it is suggested that the width and breadth of the dishes or bowls be set in an orderly manner. Considering the tables currently available at restaurants, personal space on a table and comfortable distance between eaters are suggested to be $400 mm{\times}250 mm$ and 300 mm, respectively.

관악구 보육교사의 배식서비스 참여 및 식사지도 실태 : 영아반과 유아반의 비교 (Teachers' Participation and Mealtime Instruction in the Food Service at the Kwanak-gu Child-care Centers: Comparison between Child-care Teachers Caring Different Age Groups, Children Younger than Three Years and Those Three Years or Older)

  • This study was conducted to investigate how child-care teachers participate, practice mealtime instruction, and perceive difficulties in food service, focusing on comparison between the teachers caring two different age groups: children younger than three years (Younger Group) and those three years or older (Older Group). Questionnaires were distributed to 151 child-care centers in Kwanak-gu, Seoul, Korea during December, 2011. Only the data from 25 child-care centers, where two respective teachers in charge of Younger Group and Older Group completed the questionnaires, were analyzed. The results showed that there was no difference in terms of child-care teachers' participation in food service practice between the two groups, except for serving method; 'Pre-plated' serving was used significantly more often in Younger Group, whereas 'Line-up' serving was used in Older Group. Approximately, three quarters of the child-care centers had policies or guidelines on mealtime instruction. During mealtime, child-care teachers tended to use frequently verbal instructions such as "sit up straight when you eat" about eating manner, "don't be picky with your food" about eating habit, and "wash your hands before eating" about eating procedure in both the groups. There was no statistically significant difference regarding child-care teachers' perceived difficulties in food service between the two groups. These results indicated that child-care teachers' participation and mealtime instruction in food service did not differ between the two age groups, although children's development of digestion and eating skill differed by age. Therefore, training should be provided to child-care teachers about food service practices and mealtime instruction appropriate to children's age.

SDL: A New CAGD Library for Conputer-Aided Ship Design

  • Software written in academic environments is rarely integrated and/or reused. Moreover, typical academic software products do not communicate with commercial CAD packages, consequently functionality that is readily available to industry is not available do academic researchers. The Surface Design Library (SDL) is a library serving as a framework under which, CAGD software, intended for research or educational use, can be written in such a manner that it becomes a reusable part of a useful CAGD system. Moreover SDL is equipped with an IGES translator so that it communicates with commercial CAD packages, This paper gives a brief overview to SDL and presents examples of using it for high quality fairing performed on a naval ship hull, before employing commercial CAD packages for further design and analysis.

다중 홉 무선 인지 시스템에서 효과적인 무선 자원 할당 (Efficient Radio Resource Allocation for Cognitive Radio Based Multi-hop Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 인지(Cognitive Radio, CR) 기반의 다중 홉 릴레이 전송 환경에서 링크별 가용 주파수 자원을 할당하는 문제를 다룬다. 경로 탐색, 채널 센싱 및 판단, 자원 할당의 3단계 시나리오를 제시하고 컬러 다중 그래프 모델과 시분할 된 프레임 구조를 토대로 서비스 받는 사용자의 수를 최대화하는 최적화 문제로 수학적 모델링을 한다. 이에 대한 해법으로 단말 선택, 릴레이 및 경로 선택 그리고 각 홉별 주파수 자원 선택의 3단계로 구성되는 부 최적화된 종합적 자원관리 방안을 제시한다. 모의실험에서는 홉-별 시분할 된 프레임 구조를 가지는 셀룰러 기반 2차 시스템을 고려하였으며, 다중 홉 통신과 단일 홉 통신 간의 성능을 비교를 통해 무선인지 시스템에서 다중 홉 통신의 필요성을 보였다. 또한 다중 홉 통신 가운데 가장 우수한 홉 수와 그 환경에 대해 살펴보았다.

  • Sound nutrition is the basic foundation for the health of a population. Proper nutrition education through the school system can actualize the building of sound nutrition being provided at school lunch programs along with nutrition education can have far reaching impact to the health of the whole nation. In Hong Kong, the recent change over from a half day to full day school program signaled the need for a school lunch program. However, there has been no organized effort so far in Hong Kong to provide such service. School lunches are being provided by caterers who are more concerned about profits than food safetly. Alarming rates of food poisoning occurring recently in Taiwan school has further accentuated the importance of fool safety. With the advent of centralized food production technologies, Dietirians can apply their nutrition knowledge and integrate with food production processes such that safe, healthy and nutritious mcals can be produced in large quantities in a cost-effective manner serving he needs of the school children. This paper introduces the centralized food production concept, using some of the cool chill production centers for school lunch programs in the United States as examples to discuss how new technologies and management system can be integrated to yield the best outcome in food quality and safety.

음식모형시스템 개발 및 활용화 방안에 관한 연구 (Development of a Food Replica Information System and Its Applications to Community)

  • In the course of this research, we developed FRIS(Food Replica Information System), which calculates calories and nutrient values of foods in a very simple and interesting manner, and experienced of application to some communities. We expect that individuals will have opportunities to raise their consciousness of food, nutrients, and healthy living by participating in FRIS. 154 kinds of commonly consumed Korean foods were selected and one serving sized food replicas, having the same shapes, size, and color as the real foods, were constructed with attached bar code labels. An application program with food replicas and bar code was also developed in order to provide information on calories and nutrient values for people's meals or selected foods based on survey results of housewives' requirements related to foods and nutrients. FRIS should be a basic tool in nutrition education and consultation. Its applicability would vary according to the nutritionist's flexibility and contents of developed application programs. Technical stability should be strengthened and more useful contents of application prograln be added to spread the use of the system. Additionally, in future research, more delicate models should be developed and an analytical method should be applied to examine the effects of FRIS to individual behavioral changes in their eating habits.

Beamforming Optimization for Multiuser Two-Tier Networks

  • With the incitation to reduce power consumption and the aggressive reuse of spectral resources, there is an inevitable trend towards the deployment of small-cell networks by decomposing a traditional single-tier network into a multi-tier network with very high throughput per network area. However, this cell size reduction increases the complexity of network operation and the severity of cross-tier interference. In this paper, we consider a downlink two-tier network comprising of a multiple-antenna macrocell base station and a single femtocell access point, each serving multiples users with a single antenna. In this scenario, we treat the following beamforming optimization problems: i) Total transmit power minimization problem; ii) mean-square error balancing problem; and iii) interference power minimization problem. In the presence of perfect channel state information (CSI), we formulate the optimization algorithms in a centralized manner and determine the optimal beamformers using standard convex optimization techniques. In addition, we propose semi-decentralized algorithms to overcome the drawback of centralized design by introducing the signal-to-leakage plus noise ratio criteria. Taking into account imperfect CSI for both centralized and semi-decentralized approaches, we also propose robust algorithms tailored by the worst-case design to mitigate the effect of channel uncertainty. Finally, numerical results are presented to validate our proposed algorithms.

하향링크 스몰셀 네트워크 환경에서 최선형 서비스를 위한 분산적인 주파수 재사용 기법 (Decentralized Frequency Reuse Scheme Supporting Best-Effort Services in Downlink Small-Cell Network)

  • 하향링크 스몰셀 네트워크 환경에서 최선형 서비스를 지원해야 할 때, 기존 기법들에서는 각 기지국 기준으로 동일 채널간섭이 가장 적게 수신되는 채널들만을 선택하게 되는데 이 채널들은 해당 기지국에 인접한 사용자의 하향링크 수율 성능만을 향상시킨다. 따라서 기존의 분산 주파수 재사용 기법들은 전체 최선형 서비스 사용자들을 공정하게 지원하지 못한다. 이 논문에서는 하향링크 스몰셀 네트워크 환경에서 기지국으로부터의 거리와 관계없이 최선형 서비스 사용자들의 수율 성능을 공정하게 향상시킬 수 있는 분산 주파수 재사용 기법을 제안한다. 각 기지국은 기존의 분산재사용 기법을 수행하여 주위 기지국들에서 가장 적게 사용되는 채널들을 선택한 다음, 전체 수율 성능의 감소를 줄이면서도 수율성능이 낮은 사용들의 수율성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 채널들로 일부채널들을 교체한다. 모의실험을 통해 제안된 기법은 수율성능 기준 하위 10%에 해당되는 사용자들의 수율성능을 기존기법에 비해 최대 15% 정도 향상시키면서 전체 수율 성능 감소는 3% 정도 허용함을 확인하였다.

  • 홈네트워크 시스템의 본격적인 보급과 함께 가정용서비스 로봇의 최근 연구 성과들은 인간과 지능로봇이 가정에 공존하며 서로 의사소통을 할 수 있는 시대가 가까운 미래에 현실화 될 수 있음을 보여주고 있다. 한편 가정의 환경적인 특징은 open이기 때문에 그러한 환경에 적응하고 주어진 임무를 수행하는 데는 단일 로봇 또는 단일 홈서버보다는 로봇을 포함하는 홈네트워크 시스템 내의 여러 장치들이 어울려 분산처리를 수행하는 multi-agent 시스템이 일반적으로 더 좋다고 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 홈네트워크 시스템을 가진 가정에서 필요한 agent들을 정의하기 위해 framework 모델을 구축하고 각 agent 간의 통신 protocol architecture를 제시한다. 이를 위해 로봇 또는 홈서버의 단일 지능이나 기능보다는 그 안에 존재하는 복수개의 agent instance들의 집합으로서 agent를 정의하고, 각 agent 내외에서 agent들 사이의 협력(cooperation)과 타협(negotiation)을 통해 환경과 적응하는 방법 및 사람과 교감(interactive)하는 방법을 제시한다.

생명보험설계사의 직무경험 의미 탐색 (Searching the Meaning of Life Insurance Planner's Job Experiences)

  • 이 연구는 생명보험설계사의 직업적 안정과 고성과 및 고소득 창출을 위한 직무경험 의미의 탐색이다. 연구방법은 영업현장에서 활동 중인 생명보험설계사 6명을 연구 참여자로 선정 후 그들의 직무경험 의미 탐색을 위해 내러티브접근 연구방식으로 수행하였다. 연구결과 생명보험설계사의 직무역량 인식수준은 경험의 차이에 따라 달랐다. 경험이 전무 한 후보자 시절에는 생명보험설계사의 직무를 누구나 할 수 있는 일이라고, 입문교육을 마친 신입설계사는 상품지식과 컨설팅능력을 갖춰야 할 수 있는 일로, 그리고 경험이 쌓일수록 고객을 대하는 훌륭한 태도와 꾸준히 일하는 습관이 형성되어야 설계사로서 성공할 수 있다는 그들의 인식을 확인하였다. 또한 생명보험설계사가 느낀 직무경험 의미는 직업의 가치 인식과 사명감으로 봉사하는 일이라고 판단하였고, 그들의 성공적인 직무활동 기대요인은 스스로를 교사, 의사, 천사의 역할 수행 및 개인과 가정의 경제적 안정을 지키는 행복전도사로 인정을 받고, 이를 위한 전문 봉사활동가로 직무역량을 과시하고자 함을 기대하고 있음이 탐색되었다.
