온라인 음악서비스 산업에서 전환비용의 선행요인 및 전환비용이 고객충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Antecedents of Switching Cost and its Effect on Customer Loyalty in Digital Music Service Industry)

  • Rapid development of information technology has generated a new industry and market. In particular, network technology such as the Internet and other computer networks made transaction activities switched from traditional offline commerce to e-commerce. Among them, digital content is bit-based object which is created and distributed through electronic environment. In particular, many entertainment contents such as the music, the movies, and the computer game softwares are main products. Although digital content commerce has high potential demand, it lacks the consideration about the factor related to maintaining existing customer such as customer loyalty and switching costs. There has been a number of research on customer loyalty and other factors affecting it in the traditional electronic commerce environment, but there is a lack of research which examines the characteristics of digital content. The study about the effect of switching costs on customer loyalty in digital content commerce is necessary because the customers of digital content commerce market are from those of other e-commerce market or traditional offline commerce market. In addition, customer loyalty and switching costs are important factors because they may build up greater customer retention. For that reason, this study focused on examining the relationships among switching costs, antecedents for switching costs, and customer loyalty in online digital music service industry. The study has three major purposes: (1) to find antecedents of switching costs on digital content commerce and examine effect of antecedents for switching costs; (2) to identify effect of switching costs on customer loyalty in digital content commerce and examine moderating effects of alternative attractiveness; (3) to identify the differences of antecedents for switching costs by contents transmission type(streaming service and downloading service). And, the online digital music service industry is selected in this study since there are many users and transactions incurring. To accomplish these purposes, a survey questionnaire was developed and distributed to 256 informants. Survey instrument was developed based on previous research and pre-established survey items. Total of 206 surveys are collected and used in the data analysis. Among the respondents, 56.8% is male and 43.2% is female. Also, 86 responses were streaming service user group and 120 responses were download service user group. These data was analyzed using regression analysis. Major findings of empirical analysis can be summarized as follows. First, switching costs have positive effect on customer loyalty in digital content commerce environment. Second, the influence of switching costs on customer loyalty increases under conditions of high alternative attractiveness. Third, DRM convenience and breadth of use have positive effect on switching costs. The findings imply that the digital content provider should pay more attention to switching costs in addition to customer satisfaction in order to attract customers. Also, increasing the convenience of DRM use by securing the convenience of user interface and expanding the support device and increasing the service use scope by providing diverse value-added service helps to create a switching barrier. The result of the study can become a practical use in marketing strategy for maintaining existing customer. In particular, switching barrier is very important under conditions of high competition in the online music service market. This study can be used as a basis for further studies about customer retention in digital content commerce.

국제 물적유통의 기업적 가치 고찰 (Studies on Corporate Value of International Physical Distribution)

  • Purpose - The purpose of paper is to examine into corporate value of international physical distribution, which is closely related with company that is running business based on competitive power. It is good for company to gain a competitiveness throughout activities from international physical distribution, then it increases corporate value after all. Then it will be looked at how international physical distribution can influence competitiveness of company in terms of corporate value. Research design, data, and methodology - The research method to be described is first to identify concept of international physical distribution theoretically, including characteristics and structure, and then to review corporate value of international physical distribution to make company be competitive. As far as general landscape of international logistics is concerned, it is investigated into function and role of service provider, user and market situations. However, it is well proved that current market of international physical distribution is stable and bright, which means it is possible to take foreseeable future as well. Then company can share with corporate value of international physical distribution provided from logistics service provider. Results - To achieve corporate value throughout process of international physical distribution is strongly connected with competitive status of logistics service providers, those are carriers and infrastructures, and third party logistics providers. Especially in order to inquire into competitive aspects of international physical distribution in this paper, it is focused on trade volumes and overcapacity of global shipping market. Unlike it is used to be, more optimistic and positive situation has been shown since 5 years ago from the year of 2018, which means carriers make a business well, leading company to be more competitive. Conclusions - Corporate value of company in terms of international physical distribution is closely involved with competitive situations in the physically distribution, especially shipping market, which service providers can paly a key role in this regards. It can be estimated that the more market of international physical distribution works, the more competitiveness of companies increases. Ocean carriers in shipping market of international physical distribution are doing actively business well, and the corporate value can be materialized in favor of company.

적극적노동시장정책이 실업에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Active Labor Market Policy on Unemployment)

  • 본 연구는 OECD 18개국의 8년간(2000-2007년) 패널자료를 이용한 결합회귀분석에 의해 적극적 노동시장정책이 실업률에 미치는 영향을 분석해본 후, 한국의 적극적노동시장정책 개선과 관련된 시사점을 찾아보고자 했다. 분석결과, 적극적노동시장정책은 실업률에 부적으로 영향을 미치며, 둘째 적극적노동시장정책 세부 프로그램 중 직업훈련은 실업률에 부적으로 영향을 미치고, 셋째 구직서비스와 고용보조는 부분적으로 실업률에 부적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한국의 적극적노동시장정책 개선과 관련된 시사점으로, 첫째 적극적 노동시장정책을 확대하고 체계적으로 정립할 필요가 있으며, 둘째 직업훈련 프로그램을 노동수요에 맞추어 체계화 전문화해야 하고, 셋째 고용보조의 경우 대체효과, 전치효과, 자중손실효과가 적도록 프로그램을 계획 운영할 필요가 있으며, 넷째 구직서비스의 경우 실업률 감소에만 초점을 두지 말고 재실업 예방, 소득불평등 완화, 생산성 향상 등을 고려한 정책을 개발 추진할 필요가 있다.

고객화, 네트워크 효과, 서비스 품질 및 고객 충성도 : 음원 스트리밍 서비스를 중심으로 (Customization, Network Effect, Service Quality and Customer Loyalty : An Investigation of Music Streaming Services)

  • The global music industry has been growing steadily every year. In particular, the proportion of music streaming services in the overall market are expanding. It shows same pattern in domestic market. Also, several companies are providing music streaming services competitively. It is clear that there is growing interest in effective operations of music streaming services. In this study, we examine the impact of customization and network effect on service quality and customer loyalty. We collect survey data and analyze relationships between latent variables using structural equations modeling. We find that customization and network effect of music streaming services positively affect service quality. However, the effect of customization on customer loyalty is not significant and there is a negative effect of network effect on customer loyalty. Finally, we find that service quality works as a mediator between customization and customer loyalty, and service quality also works as a mediator between network effect and customer loyalty.

조건부가치측정법을 이용한 스마트 홈 서비스의 지불의사액 추정 (Estimation of Willingness to Pay for Smart Home Service by Contingent Valuation Method)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the value of smart home service using contingent valuation method that is the method evaluating the value of service which will be provided in the future. Using this method, this study suggests proper price and market value of smart home service through figuring out customer's willingness to pay. Methods: To estimate willingness to pay for smart home service, this study uses double bounded dichotomous choice question. The survey was conducted for 2 months from December in 2015 to February in 2016. A total of 269 copies were used to estimate through R-programming. Results: The results of this study are as follows; Gender(especially woman), income, proposed price are the factors which affecting willingness to pay. As the result of this study, average price of willingness to pay for smart home service estimates as \29,653. Comparing with high-speed internet bundling service fee, this estimated price for smart home service is appropriate level for customers to accept. Conclusion: This study estimates consumer's willingness to pay for smart home service which is in the market entry stage. In corporate side, this study might be meaningful for estimating investment scale and profit. Also it could provide basis for establishing strategic policy to develop smart home service market in government side.

  • The purpose of this research is to study the efficiency of the Internet market, not provided to consumers by the existing traditional market. This research examines whether consumers properly understand the efficiency of the Internet market. The result from consumers perception on the efficiencies in the two market are as follows. First, consumers perceived the traditional market as having more product alternatives compared to the Internet market. Second, consumers perceived that the Internet market was more efficient in price dispersion and price change Third, the Internet market was considered more efficient in searching and travel time, and in the search cost. Finally, the traditional market was considered as a better provider of the information about product function, feature, reality, usage and service compared to the Internet market. On the contrary, the Internet market turned out to be more effective in providing product information, price information and trading information compared to the traditional market. Therefore consumers perceived the traditional market of having more information.

  • 국내 AI Speaker 시장은 18년말 국내 보급대수 300만대로 혁신소비자 시장을 넘어 본격적인 조기 수용자 시장으로 성장하고 있지만, 여러 이유로 사용에 만족함을 느끼지 못하는 것이 현실이다. AI Speaker에 대한 많은 선행논문이 나오고 있지만, 지금까지 대다수의 연구는 기기 자체 성능에 대한 수용여부에 치우쳐 있는 경향이 있다, Covid-19시대에 이전 보다 많은 시간을 집안에서 거주를 하게 되고, 이는 많은 OTT사업자들이 AI스피커 사업자와의 협업을 통한 시장 확보를 노력 하는 등의 많은 변화가 이루어지고 있는 오늘의 상황에서, 본 연구는 아직 불만족적인 기술에 대한 요인은 배제하고 AI스피커의 또 하나의 주요 선택 요인이 될 수 있는 콘텐츠 서비스에 대한 우선순위를 파악하고자 하였다. 먼저, 본 연구는 문헌연구를 통해 도출된 AI스피커 선택 요인을 바탕으로, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)를 이용하여 AI스피커 선택 요인 간 우선순위를 파악하였다. AI스피커 선택에 있어서 가장 중요한 상위계층 요인은 Concierge Service, Education Service, Entertainment Service순서였고, 개별 요인 중 우선순위로 선정된 요인은 1순위로 날씨/기온/미세먼지 (11.6%)를 알리는 기능이 주요 요인이었고, 그 다음으로 2순위 육아 컨텐츠(10.8%), 3순위는 음악 서비스(9.8%)로 분석되었다. 상위 우선순위 3개는 상위 계층 1, 2, 3 우선순위에 있는 항목에서 도출되었다. 전체 15개 개별 서비스 중 Concierge Service(날씨/기온/미세먼지, 뉴스, 음성일정 알림)와 Education Service(외국어, 유아, 책읽기)의 하위계층 6개는 상위 8위 안에 들었으며, Entertainment Service의 두 가지 음악서비스와 영화서비스는 3위와 6위에 랭크되었다.

  • Mobile & Telecommunication industry have been improved in recent years, many different and different shape devices have been introduced and relative services also consistently have been developed as well. Mobile users also demand new service and diverse contents different from vice oriented services and its quality improvement. Recently Smartphone has shown up and changed Mobile & Telecommunication industry and lead activating the industry. Particularly Smartphone users enjoy many different functions and service provided by Application Market. Actually this Application Market would lead improving Mobile& Telecommunication industry. This fact is worthy of notice. Therefore This study focus on Application Market and analyse what determinants affect user's intention to use Application Market. Mainly e-Servqual and TAM model are applied and research model was established and empirically tested. As a result information, transaction and design quality significantly effect on user's intention and perceived usefulness and easy of use also significantly more effect on user's intention. There will be several implications to establish strategy for application market based on this results.

외식 프랜차이즈 본사의 기업가 지향성과 시장 지향성이 가맹점의 영역 초월 행동과 경영 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Entrepreneurship and Market Orientation of Restaurant Franchisers on the Boundary-spanning Behavior and Managerial Performance of Franchisees)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of the entrepreneurship and market orientation of franchisers on the boundary-spanning behavior of franchisees in food-service companies in the Yeongnam region. This study also investigated the relationship between the entrepreneurship and market orientation of franchisers and sought to identify the effect of the boundary-spanning behavior of franchisees on their managerial performance. Based on literature reviews, 4 hypotheses were tested. The subjects responding in this study were owners or managers of franchise restaurants in Youngnam province. A total of 605 questionnaires were analyzed using the factor analysis, a reliability test, and structural equation modeling analysis. The results revealed that first, the entrepreneurship and market orientation of franchisers were positively related to the boundary-spanning behaviors of franchisees, and secondly, the entrepreneurship of franchisers was positively related to their market orientation. Finally, the boundary-spanning behavior of franchisees was positively related to their managerial performance. Therefore, food-service franchisers in Youngnam should have the entrepreneurship and market orientation to lead franchisees to have positive boundary-spanning behaviors and good performance.

대학병원의 시장경쟁력 강화를 위한 리포지셔닝에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Repositioning for Strengthening University Hospitals Competitiveness)

  • This study was performed to provide medical service providers with useful information for their market competitiveness and decision making. It is regarding positioning map and repositioning map strategy to enforce market competitiveness through bench marking of a specific hospital which has been relatively underestimated in the market. With AHP and biplot analyses for this study, we could identify priority of properties that medical service consumers consider when they choose a university hospital and market competitiveness of alternative university hospitals. It is expected that the study of repositioning strategy to Strengthening Market Competitiveness will provide efficient problem solving method to allocation restricted resources by repositioning the specific university hospital through benchmarking with evaluation factors of the most market competitiveness university hospital. When Inje University Paik Hospital was benchmarked and repositioned, the share of Paik hospital increased and there was only 3.1% difference from Dongah Dong-A University Hospital, which occupied the first place in market competitiveness. Such the results of this study may suggestion management strategies to provide efficient problem solving methods when companies responding to rapidly changing management environments allocation restricted resources.
