The main goal of this study is to examine the current status of architectural glass in terms of its risk for inflicting injury in elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. Through objective analysis of data contributed by the investigation of the cause, degree of seriousness, and bodily location of injury, the hazardousness of architectural glass in educational facilities will be evaluated. Most importantly, this study is an attempt to increase awareness of the need for establishing a safety standard in the installation of safety glass in order to prevent injuries inflicted by architectural glass in educational facilities.

Purpose. This study was performed to develop and test a decision-tree model of treatment-seeking behaviors about when Korean patients visit a doctor after experiencing stroke symptoms. Methods. The study used methodological triangulation. The model was developed based on qualitative data collected from in-depth interviews with 18 stroke patients. The model was tested using quantitative data collected from interviews and a structured questionnaire involving 150 stroke patients. The predictability of the decision-tree model was quantified as the proportion of participants who followed the pathway predicted by the model. Results. Decision outcomes of the model were categorized into immediate and delayed treatment-seeking behavior. The model was influenced by lowered consciousness, social-group influences, perceived seriousness of symptoms, past history of hypertension or stroke, and barriers to hospital visits. The predictability of the model was found to be 90.7%. Conclusions. The results from this study can help healthcare personnel understand the education needs of stroke patients regarding treatment-seeking behaviors, and hence aid in the development of educational strategies for stroke patients.

As the global environmental crisis has been emerged as an important problem threatening the survival of the mankind, the environmental problems are recognized as a great issue governing the destiny of the whole mankind as well as a national problem. Therefore, more active attitude playing a leading role of global and local environmental preservation is required, escaping from conventional passive position for the minimization of economic damages according to global environment regulations. This study evaluates the 150 university students' consciousnesses and attitudes of the seriousness, major policies and issues of environmental pollutions, extracts their consciousness of environment and practicable tasks for the 21st century and is to give the basic reference materials of environmental policy development.

The anchoring effect can be found when a decision shows cognitive prejudice towards the initial information given. Several studies have argued that such an effect is present even for judges in the courtroom. This paper seeks to find a relationship between judges' decisions on penalty sentences and the sentences recommended by prosecutors. In this study, 2,773 actual court cases are considered in the analysis, and quantile regression is used to show that the sentencing decisions judges make are anchored by the recommendations of prosecutors. However, this reliance on recommendations differs according to the seriousness of the crime committed. Specifically, at the lowest penalty levels, a one-month increase in the prosecutors' sentencing recommendation results in a 0.25-month increase in the judges' sentence, while at the highest sentence level, the judges' sentences increase by 0.78 months under an identical condition. The results of this research indicate the need to create more objective and clear sentencing guidelines in the future in an effort to mitigate the psychological pressure experienced by judges with regard to serious offences or heinous crimes.

The prevalence of Smart phones is Mobile Messenger, access time, spatial constraints for assured. As a result, pc room, with a focus on traditional Internet addiction is to be reduced, whereas with a focus on Mobile Messenger Smartphone addiction level is rapidly on the rise. Korea information agency of Internet addiction and mobile addiction risk appeared to be well over 10 percent of the rate of 35% is gaming and mobile addiction unfolds exemplifies the seriousness of Messenger. Addiction is the individual's psychosocial problems such as negative consequences can result, causing the addiction, because it is necessary for an understanding of the mechanism. In this study, Mobile Messenger, the leading factors affecting the addiction said. Mobile Messenger is a major factor causing the addiction habit and consider the user's satisfaction. And social relations and the formation of plougastel Wu Mobile Messenger and its impact on the cause of addiction.

This study examined how the attachment styles of married mothers influence their marital conflicts and caring behavior and the behavior problems of their children. Subjects were 60 mothers and their 60 elementary school children. Data were analyzed with correlation, multiple analysis of variance and path analysis. Mothers with unstable attachment styles had more children with behavior problems and they had more serious marital conflicts. Mother's with preoccupied attachment styles experienced more marital conflict than all other styles. Seriousness of marital conflict was related to negative caring behavior and negative caring behavior was related to behavior problems in children. There were direct paths between the attachment style of mothers and both externalized and internalized behavior problems of children in the clinical group.

Not only consumers but also corporations need to use and develop sustainable consumption for environmental preservation these days. This research studied the level of environmental consciousness, knowledge of environmental problems and consumption behavior for environmentally sustainable home electrical goods. This study was conducted by survey method and the sample was 300 housewives aged 20-50 living in Seoul and urban areas in 2003. The consciousness for the environment and seriousness of theenvironmental problems were very high. Nevertheless, the level of consumption behavior for environmentally sustainable goods was lower than the consciousness. Of the total sample, 33% were aware of the ultrasonic-waves-sink, 73% of the non-detergent-wash machine, 50% of the vacuum-without-trash envelope, and only 17% of the micro-oven-zero air power. Over 50% of the sample wanted to buy these environmentally sustainable, home electrical goods, especially working housewives.

The purpose of this thesis is to explore the health characteristics of different groups of rural families in Korea. The subjects of the study were all couples from the selected 40 villages whose eldest childs educational level is at least at a middle school level. The data for 356 people from 178 households were analysed. Groups of healthy family were organized into two classes - the H group, and the L group. The probability to be involved in H group, by logistic analysis, was heightened as the mental health of the family and marital satisfaction increased, and as the seriousness of a couples problems decreased. Also it was heightened as the numbers of family members decreased, as the academic level of couple accorded, as the problems of kinship were no, and as the problems of local society were recognized. The groundwork of this treatise can be used as basic materials to establish a model of a healthy rural family and make programs for the improvement of rural family health.

The vibration analysis of the automobiles has been a good subject for the engineers seeking solutions for more comfortable life. In the area of industrial vehicles, however, the seriousness of the vibration annoyance has not been considered so much. In this paper, a finite element model was built which was good for the low-frequency system(of fork-lift truck), and a forced vibration analysis was obtained for the component of 2n of harmonic orders from engine excitation to this model. Finally, a design optimization upon dynamic responses was made to minimize the vibration acceleration level at selected points representing the vibration level of the whole system.

Objectives : The purpose of this case series was to investigate the effectiveness of Chengsimyeonjatang-gamibang for headache. Methods : The case subjects were nine patients who were diagnosed as Taeumin from the Department of Sasang Constitutional Medicine. They were selected among outpatients who visited Sangji Oriental Medical Hospital with complaint of headache from October 2007 to January 2008 through chart reviews. They were treated with Chengsimyeonjatang-gamibang without other treatments. Relative seriousness of headache was determined by Headache Impact $Test^{TM}$(HIT-$6^{TM}$) questionnaire. Results of before and after therapy were evaluated and scored using Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). The results were analyzed using statistical methods. such as Friedman test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test, and Mann-Whitney U Test. Results : The study showed that the VAS score significantly decreased after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusions : In summary, this case report suggests that Chengsimyeonjatang-gamibang appears to be effective in the treatment of headache.
