We compute the Hausdorff and packing dimensions of the cylindrical lower or upper local dimension set for a self-similar measure having different minimum and maximum of the local dimension on a self-similar set satisfying the open set condition.

Let K be a loosely self-similar set. Then a-dimensional packing measure of K is the same as that of a Borel subset K( $r_1^{\alpha}$ㆍㆍㆍ$r_{m}$ $^{\alpha}$/) of K. And packing dimension of K is equal to that of K\K( $r_1^{\alpha}$ㆍㆍㆍ $r_{m}$ $^{\alpha}$/) and K( $r_1^{\alpha}$ㆍㆍㆍ $r_{m}$ $^{\alpha}$/).X> $^{\alpha}$/)).

Using informations of subsets of divergence points and the relation between members of spectral classes, we give another complete decomposition of spectral classes generated by lower(upper) local dimensions of a self-similar measure on a self-similar Cantor set with full information of their dimensions. We note that it is a complete refinement of the earlier complete decomposition of the spectral classes. Further we study the packing dimension of some uncountable union of distribution sets.

Let {X(t), $t{\geq}0$} be a stochastic integral process represented by stable random measure or multiple Ito-Wiener integrals. Under some conditions, we prove the continuity and self-similarity of these stochastic integral processes. As an application, we get Gaussian chaos which has some shift continuous function.

Using an information of dimensions of divergence points, we give full information of dimensions of the completely decomposed class of the lower(upper) distribution sets of a self-similar Cantor set. Further using a relationship between the distribution sets and the subsets generated by the lower(upper) local dimensions of a self-similar measure, we give full information of dimensions of the subsets by the local dimensions.

In this study, a horticultural therapy program was performed by employing the anger experienced by people during daily life activities in the emotion regulation strategy-based program to identify the influence of the horticultural program on anger control in the caregivers for patients with dementia. To measure this influence, two tools were used: a self-administered questionnaire survey, which is a subjective test, and an instrumental test, which can measure the physical index that detects the physical changes through anger. For the preliminary test, depression, stress, self-esteem, anxiety, and anger state-characteristic were tested using the self-administered questionnaire. For the follow-up test, the self-administered survey and the test using the physical index were performed in a manner similar to that of the preliminary test. The self-administered questionnaire comprised questions suitable to this study and considered the age, education level, and economic aspect of the subjects. The test results indicated that the experimental group subjected to the emotion regulation strategy-based horticultural therapy showed very significant reduction in depression and anger and significant reduction in stress, self-esteem, and anxiety. In the physical index test, the systolic and diastolic blood pressures were reduced, and the pulse rate and respiration rate reduced before and after the therapy, thus, proving the effectiveness of the therapy in anger control.

본 논문에서는 OLT (optical line termination)와 다수의 ONU (optical network unit)로 구성된 TWDM PON (time and wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network)의 전력 절감형 동적 파장 및 대역할당 알고리즘의 성능을 평가한다. 성능평가에는 self-similar 트래픽을 사용하며 패킷의 평균시지연과 평균 상향 파장의 개수를 측정한다.

Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the radial bone strength, sitting balance ability and global self-esteem of wheelchair martial arts practitioners and healthy control participants. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: Nine wheelchair martial art practitioners with physical disabilities and 28 able-bodied healthy individuals participated in the study. The bone strength of the distal radius was assessed using the Sunlight Mini-Omni Ultrasound Bone Sonometer; sitting balance was quantified using the modified functional reach test (with reference to a scale marked on the wall); and the self-administered Rosenberg self-esteem (RSE) scale was used to measure the global self-esteem of the participants. The velocity of the ultrasound wave (speed of sound, m/s) traveling through the outer surface of the radial bone was measured and was then converted into a T-score and a Z-score. These ultrasound T-score and Z-score that represent bone strength; the maximum forward reaching distance in sitting (cm) that represents sitting balance; and the RSE total self-esteem score that indicates global self-esteem were used for analysis. Results: The results revealed that there were no statistically significant between-group differences for radial bone-strength, maximum forward reaching distance, or self-esteem outcomes. Conclusions: The wheelchair martial arts practitioners had similar radial bone strength, sitting balance performance and self-esteem to able-bodied healthy persons. Our results imply that wheelchair martial arts might improve bone strength, postural control and self-esteem in adult wheelchair users. This new sport-wheelchair martial arts-might be an exercise option for people with physical disabilities.
