  • Due to the uncertainty of dynamic business environment, modern organizations have been giving attention to dynamic capabilities beyond traditional notion of core competence. Among them, absorptive capacity and boundary-spanning activity are considered the most important. The former refers to activities regarding acquisition, assimilation, transformation and exploitation of internal and external knowledge. The latter is composed of boundary-loosening and boundary-tightening activities to detect internal or external information and then to preserve, protect, or acquire resources. Thus, both have achieved wide recognition as a potential source of change and innovation. This study investigated the cross-level relation between boundary-spanning leadership at team level and absorptive capacity at individual level. We also explored self-efficacy and extra-role behavior that can affect employees' absorptive capacity. To test multi-level analysis, the survey data were collected from 862 members in 137 teams of different firms. Results revealed that boundary-spanning leadership had the positive cross-level impact on absorptive capacity in the team context. Moreover, absorptive capacity was positively associated with self-efficacy and extra-role behavior at individual level. Based on these findings, we provided theoretical and practical implications to address rapidly changing environments and discussed limitations of this paper for further research.

Contract managed hospital's score was significantly higher than that of self-operated hospital in two categories, "facilities management" and "nutrition management" (P<0.05, P<0.01). In foodservice and nutrition management of task-separated hospitals, the average performance scores were significantly higher than those of not-separated hospitals (P<0.01, P<0.001). Third, according to the importance-performance analysis of recognition about indicators for the hospital nutrition department's operations evaluation, 'foodservice facilities management' and 'foodservice sanitation management' were in 'doing great', 'nutritional management' and 'operational management' were in 'low priority', and 'other foodservice management' was in 'overdone'. • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of role recognition of students participating in middle school soccer club activities applying sports education model on responsibility and self-directed learning. In order to achieve this purpose, 410 samples were selected from male students based in Busan using the convenience sampling method. Among them, and 370 data were finally verified through frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach's α coefficient calculation, and correlation analysis using the SPS statistics 25.0 program. Finally, a regression analysis was performed for hypothesis testing, and the results were as follows. First, the awareness of the role of the student participating in middle school soccer club activities, which applied the sports education model, was found to have a positive effect in part on the sense of responsibility. Second, the role recognition of students participating in middle school soccer club activities, which applied the sports education model, was found to have a partial positive influence on self-directed learning. Finally, the responsibility of students participating in middle school soccer club activities, which applied the sports education model, was found to have a positive effect on self-directed learning in part. Therefore, physical education teachers should ensure that students can choose the right roles for themselves through various role experiences in soccer classes so that more active learning can take place.
