In this study, we explored the psychometric properties of the Korean version of the Safety Organization Scale (K-SOS). The SOS is based on the principles of a high-reliability organization and is an effective measure of the self-reported behaviors underlying the safety culture of an organization. We conducted a methodological study to examine the validity and reliability of the 9-item SOS translated into Korean. The data of 108 nurses working in three general hospitals with more than 100 beds located in D City were included. Content validity, construct validity, criterion validity, and reliability were evaluated. The results confirmed that the K-SOS is a unidimensional structure scale. Higher K-SOS scores exhibited a significant correlation with Hospital Survey On Patient Safety Culture, thus indicating the validity of the criterion. The internal consistency of the K-SOS was acceptable. Thus, the K-SOS is a reliable self-report scale for directly measuring the safety behaviors of an organization. The K-SOS can be used to improve patient safety in Korean hospital settings.

Purpose: This study was done to develop a cell phone addiction scale for Korean adolescents. Methods: The process included construction of a conceptual framework, generation of initial items, verification of content validity, selection of secondary items, preliminary study, and extraction of final items. The participants were 577 adolescents in two middle schools and three high schools. Item analysis, factor analysis, criterion related validity, and internal consistency were used to analyze the data. Results: Twenty items were selected for the final scale, and categorized into 3 factors explaining 55.45% of total variance. The factors were labeled as withdrawal/tolerance (7 items), life dysfunction (6 items), and compulsion/persistence (7 items). The scores for the scale were significantly correlated with self-control, impulsiveness, and cell phone use. Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the 20 items was .92. Scale scores identified students as cell phone addicted, heavy users, or average users. Conclusion: The above findings indicate that the cell phone addiction scale has good validity and reliability when used with Korean adolescents.

Architecture is a shelter for society whose social pattern requires a specific form to accord with its material and spiritual needs. Providing a truly acceptable architecture requires our deeper understanding of cultural tradition - mythic values - not only because myth is an interpreted and configured form of 'thing' through man's second nature, such as his subjective and objective consciousness -'self-revelation of the absolute'- but also because, in the world of mythical imagination, a fragment of substantial reality -'thing'- becomes an equivalent mode to the signification, and emerges as 'its independent spiritual form' and 'the characteristic force of the logos.' In this sense, myth of place and myth behind tectonic form are the most essential sources for comprehending people's relationship to the world of inner and conscious experience. The recent efforts of modern architects to achieve cultural continuity should begin with re-interpretation and configulation of the myths behind describable material culture, especially artistic imagination inspired by deeper understanding of the myth of place. Myth provide artists with a creative inspiration, as they did in the past.

This study aims to develop a pattern identification system (PIS) for general users to check up their body condition. We collected previous 3 PI questionnaires, with internal consistency reliability or validity of the diagnosis by experts, through a field test. For defining weights of pattern indices, we applied the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method with 11 experts. PIS receive two kinds of symptoms of users : body region based symptoms and core symptoms for PIS. PIS suggest possible patterns and health information on the basis of selected symptoms with analysis by AHP. This study showed PIS could be easily used for general user who wants to access Korean Medicine compared to conventional PI system. Furthermore, it could be utilized with mobile environment or as remote medicine care.

This study was conducted in order to develop an aptitude test for child care teachers (ATCCT) and to analyze it in terms of both validity and reliability. The main participants in this study consisted of 710 pre-service child care teachers. The results of factor analysis identified 7 factors and 56 items which were selected from 121 items in the original scale. The seven factors were as follows; interpersonal relationship management abilities, receptiveness and responsiveness to children, creativity and personal development, the ability to form close relationships with children, the ability to supervise child safety, the sense of duty, and positive emotions. The four factors were related to social relationship. Criterion-related validity was established by using correlations between the ATCCT and the TSES (Teacher Self-efficacy Scale). The internal consistency was found to be relatively high (Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ = .94) and test-retest reliability was also established (r = .53). In addition, there were differences among pre-service child care teacher groups according to both relative levels of education and courses taught.

최근 10년 동안의 측광 및 분광관측을 통하여 우리은하 내 구상성단들 중 대부분이 적어도 2개 이상의 항성종족을 갖는다고 밝혀졌다. 현재까지 이루어진 대부분의 구상성단의 항성종족 연구에서는 관측된 색등급도와 항성종족 합성모델 사이에 eye-fitting을 함으로써 항성종족 파라미터, 즉 중원소함량, 나이, 헬륨함량 등을 추정해왔다. 우리는 구상성단의 항성종족을 분석하기 위해 ${\chi}^2$-Minimization에 의거하여 구상성단과 항성종족 합성모델의 Hess Diagram을 비교하고, 수치계산 기법을 도입하여 최적의 파라미터를 추정하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 이 연구에서는 가상으로 만든 성단에 대하여 Recovery Test를 수행함으로써 이 알고리즘의 Self-Consistency를 검증하였고, 실제 관측결과를 사용하여 이 연구의 적용 가능성을 조사하였다.

The well-known Vlasov-Poisson equation describes plasma physics as nonlinear first-order partial differential equations. Because of the nonlinear condition from the self consistency of the Vlasov-Poisson equation, many problems occur: the existence, the numerical solution, the convergence of the numerical solution, and so on. To solve the problems, a viscosity term (a second-order partial differential equation) is added. In a viscosity term, the Vlasov-Poisson equation changes into a parabolic equation like the Fokker-Planck equation. Therefore, the Schauder fixed point theorem and the classical results on parabolic equations can be used for analyzing the Vlasov-Poisson equation. The sequence and the convergence results are obtained from linearizing the Vlasove-Poisson equation by using a fixed point theorem and Gronwall's inequality. In numerical experiments, an implicit first-order scheme is used. The numerical results are tested using the changed viscosity terms.

The Quenching and Self Tempering (QST) rolling is treated in terms of an advance process on Controlled Rolling and Cooling Technology (CRCT). In the analysis, the effect of this process is governed by both quenching and finishing conditions in the related with temperature. The objective of the QST model is to simulate the temperature gradient of the stock being rolled in the rolling mill. A comparison of computer simulated and manufactured micro structure as well as mechanical properties shows a good consistency. The micro structure of this high-strength round bar consists of tempered martensite and ferrite + pearlite phases.

The market, development and trend of Lithium ion Batteries in China are introduce briefly. Early, Chinese manufactories were busy to expand and many new battery factories have been built up. Now, the relatively large companies pay more attentions on comprehensive quality improvement, therefore the production processing and facilities have been also modified in some extent. The recent technology progresses focus on High capacity (energy density), High rate, High average voltage, High safety, High temperature properties, Long cycle life, Low temperature properties, Low self discharge, Low cost, Super-large, Super-small, Super-thin, Consistency, Customization, and Environment friendly processing, simply $H_5L_4S_3C_2E_1$. Lithium ion polymer batteries which all batteries packaged with soft lamination film are named as in China have a quick growth and emphasized here because of their advantages ins $H_5L_4S_3C_2E_1$ for which it is quite difficult to be realized at the same time. Some of research works such as listed above are introduced. The other contends related to application trend of Lithium ion batteries and projects carrying out are also included.

The Korean version of the Child Development Inventory (K-CDI) is a developmental screening test for children functioning in the one-six year range. Based on parent-report, the inventory assesses child developmental functioning in the areas of social, self-help, gross motor, fine motor, expressive language, language comprehension, letter and number skills, general development, and various symptoms and behavior problems. Participants were recruited from childcare centers and private groups and finally 1,143 children and their mothers from 4 locations nationwide participated in this study. Through analysis of item response rate of 270 items in 9 areas, new norm was formed. Reliability determined by internal consistency were relatively high (Cronbach ${\alpha}=.95$). Intercorrelations among sub-scales (range: .49-.96) indicated the construct validity, and the correlation between K-CDI and other screening tests supported the concurrent validity.
