  • In this paper, electromagnetic fields of a linear induction motor with cage-type secondary are analyzed by the finite element method. Contact resistances between end-bars and secondary conductors are considered in the finite element analysis. The field quantify is a magnetic vector potential transformed into a phasor form. As a result, the sensitivities of a phase current thrust and normal force are presented according to the variation of the contact resistance.

  • Micro crystal structure of polycrystalline MgO film is controlled by adjusting the energy of particles arrived at the substrate during deposition. The change of crystal structure affects on the total area of (200) surface where the oxygen vacancies are formed easily, resulting in the change of secondary electron emission (SEE) coefficient($\gamma$).

  • This paper presents the ZVZCS(Zero- Voltage and Zero-Current-Switching) Full-Bridge converter using the secondary coupled inductor and auxiliary capacitor. The converter with phase-shift control is proposed to reduce the circulating loss in primary and the voltage stress in secondary side. Using a coupled winding of the output inductor, two auxiliary capacitors are generated to reset the primary current at circulating interval.

  • Linear permanent magnet synchronous motors utilize high-energy product permanent magnet to produce high thrust, velocity and acceleration. Such motors are finding applications requiring high positioning accuracy and speed response, for example, machine tools, in the absence of mechanical gears and ball screw systems. A disadvantage of the linear motors is high power loss in comparison with rotary motors. For the application of the linear motors to machine tools, it is required to use water coolers and to improve the thermal behavior through insulation and structure optimization or control strategies. This paper presents the function of the secondary part of the linear synchronous motor as to the thermal behavior and the improving method. The result shows cooling pipe combined with an insulation layer is a suitable design for improving of the thermal behavior.

  • This paper deals with characteristic analysis of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM). Parameters and characteristic variations are evaluated by using Finite Element Method (FEM) and Equivalent Magnetizing Current Method. PMLSM can be classified into the short primary type PMLSM and the short secondary type PMLSM according to their structural features. Especially, the short secondary type PMLSM is focused on because of good control characteristics. And this paper presents the difference of analysis results between the short primary type PMLSM and short secondary type PMLSM and investigates the end effect of two PMLSM's.

  • Barium titanate nanoparticles were synthesized under N$_2$ atmosphere by the hydrolysis and condensation of barium hydroxide octahydrate and titanium (IV) isopropoxide. The synthesized particles were aggregates of nanosized primary particles. The primary particles of about 20-50 nm in diameter became building blocks of larger secondary particles, which are in most cases spherical in shape. The size and morphological evolution of secondary particles are strongly related to the precursor concentration. The observations suggest that formation and control of secondary particles is an essential step in the alkoxidehydroxide sol-precipitation process to obtain monodispersed barium titanate nanopowders.

  • 본 논문은 대기전력저감 및 정확한 출력전압 제어가 가능한 새로운 방식의 SSR(Secondary Side Regulator) 회로를 제안한다. 제안방식은 기존의 1차 측 IC를 2차 측으로 옮김으로써 기존의 SSR의 장점인 정확한 출력전압의 제어가 가능하다는 점과 포토커플러 및 TL431을 사용하지 않는 방식이므로 대기전력저감 측면에 있어 유리한 장점을 갖는다. 또한 절연된 1-2차 측간 신호전송방법에 있어 사이즈가 작고 가격이 저렴한 CT(Current Transformer)를 사용하여 Pulse edge의 전달을 통해 제어를 한다. 제안회로의 타당성 검증을 위하여 이론적 해석과 10W 급 플라이백 컨버터의 실험결과를 통해 증명하였다.

  • In this paper, the secondary wound type induction machiner was applied to random wave input generation system. It is necessary to know the transient sate of the induction machine, for getting the stabilized power from the random wave input. Here the two-axis theory is adopted and the primary and secondary variables like as current, voltages, power were calculated. From the fluctuating natural power, we can get the CVCF output power by using microprocessor control VSI.

  • 다단계 보안 실시간 데이타베이스 시스템은 데이타베이스의 일관성 유지와 실시간 요구인 마감시간의 만족, 그리고 기밀성을 띤 데이타가 노출될 수 있는 비밀채널(covert-channel)의 방지라는 요구사항을 모두 만족해야 한다. 기존의 SRT-2PL(Secure Real-Time 2 Phase Locking)은 원본과 복사본으로 데이타 객체를 분리시켜 다른 등급간에 불간섭(non-interference)을 유지하여 비밀채널의 방지를 가능하게 하였으나, 복사본이 모든 데이타 객체에 대해 항상 존재하므로 메모리의 낭비가 있을 수 있고, 복사본의 갱신을 위한 갱신 큐의 관리에 따르는 오버헤드와 그에 따른 예측성 결여라는 문제점을 갖고 있다. 이를 개선하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 다단계 보안 실시간 데이타베이스 시스템의 요구사항을 모두 만족하는 동적 복사 프로토콜을 제안한다. 동적 복사 프로토콜은 로킹 기법을 기초로 동작하고, 트랜잭션의 작업에 따라 동적으로 복사본을 생성하고 삭제한다. 모의 실험 결과 제안한 동적 복사 프로토콜은 비밀채널을 방지하고 동적인 복사본의 생성으로 SRT-2PL의 단점인 메모리 낭비를 줄일 수 있으며, 예측성을 높여 마감시간 오류율을 감소시켰다.Abstract Concurrency control of real-time secure database system must satisfy not only logical data consistency but also timing constraints and security requirements associated with transactions. These conflicting natures between timing constraints and security requirements are often resolved by maintaining several versions(or secondary copies) on the same data items. In this paper, we propose a new lock-based concurrency control protocol, Dynamic Copy Security Protocol, ensuring both two conflicting requirements. Our protocol aims for reducing the storage overhead of maintaining secondary copies and minimizing the processing overhead of update history. Main idea of our protocol is to keep a secondary copy only when it is needed to resolve the conflicting read/write operations in real time secure database systems. For doing this, a secondary copy is dynamically created and removed during a transaction's read/write operations according to our protocol. We have also examined the performance characteristics of our protocol through simulation under different workloads while comparing the existing real time security protocol. The results show that our protocol consumed less storage and decreased the missing deadline transactions.
