  • Computerization of educational administration following educational informatization of government has been steadily improved for the purpose of teachers' offload and job efficiency, finally resulting that NEIS(National Education Information System) has been completed. The NEIS consists of Nationwide service of NEIS, Business portal system of NEIS, Authentication management system and so on. Students, parents and civil petitioners handle civil affairs through Nationwide service of NEIS and teachers and persons of task conduct theirs business by accessing the Business portal system of NEIS. At this time, users have to obtain their certification from Authentication management system. Previous Studies were mainly focused on the evaluation about its performance according to the introduction of NEIS. But from now on there is a growing interest in security assessment and an efficient method for security improvement to check if NEIS works properly. Therefore, in this thesis, we'll propose an analytic framework in which security assessment is carried out after comprehending the fault structures through performing Fault Fishbone Analysis based on the Fault Tree Analysis. As a result of the system applied, the system had the highest rate of improvement to 47.7 percent.

Bestian Hospital, which primarily focuses on saving the lives of patients with severe burns, has enlarged its business domain through deep understanding of burn patients' problems, including pain and complications during treatments, long-term treatments, skin reconstruction, and so on. Now Bestian is accelerating research for development of antipyretics and cosmetics for burn patients. The success of Bestian has been due to utilization of human and material resources that are essential to performance in the medical field. Also, Bestian properly used a management service organization(MSO) model and constructed an information technology(IT) system for supporting its businesses. However, previous successes do not guarantee continued success. Bestian is entering a new domain with different challenges than it has experienced so far, and how it deals with these challenges will decide its future.

  • The purpose of this study is to make managerial information regarding outsourcing more concrete by identifying and evaluating how outsourcing as an useful strategic tool for hospitals influences organizational effectiveness. The survey was performed to 311 general hospitals and tertiary hospitals, and 63 questionnaires were recovered and analyzed. As the result of measuring organizational effectiveness after introduction of outsourcing, non-financial performance(3.34) was higher than financial performance(3.25) and satisfaction(3.08). According to the characteristics of organizational structure, financial performance showed statistically significant difference when categorizing the hospitals. It was higher in the general hospitals than in the tertiary hospitals. In addition, the hospitals that outsource the logistic and patient affairs parts have higher financial performances than non-financial ones. Especially, there was statistically significant difference depending on the sub-parts of the logistics, which means the hospitals outsourcing the logistic part have higher financial performance than the hospitals without outsourcing the logistics.

  • Managing students' data is a high prioritized duty of the university administration since most of the school affairs are proceed based on that database. Universities have invested in IT assets such as servers, storage, database, and networks. However, continuing investment in IT infrastructure is impossible due to limited budget and rapid changes in the educational environment. As cloud computing diffuse, universities are trying to reduce costs and improve efficiency by increasing server utilization, unlike when physically investing. We designed a hypothetical academic information management system based on cloud computing by utilizing the advanced server virtualization technology. This administrative cloud system allows universities to improve the availability of the system with low cost. The system demonstrates its flexibility of using data resources and immediacy of resumption.

  • The National Education Information System (NEIS), one of ERP systems developed by Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development, has been utilized in primary and secondary schools. In this paper, we considered the NEIS should be used not only for educational administration affairs, but also for a lifelong management of National Human Resource. The current School Information Management System (SIMS) is unsatisfactory due to the insufficiency of actual field suitability and user's conveniency. For solving such problems, the system rebuilding or revision should be accompanied by. As a guideline of revision and supplement of the SIMS, we suggest an application useful in both schools and clinics by the integrating healthcare management information of people. For this, we propose a lifelong healthcare information management by integrating Student Health Records of the NEIS with Electronic Medical Records of doctors' offices. The healthcare information is designed and represented in XML. We applied different XSL style-sheets to XML documents in order to offer a view suitable for demands of schools and clinics. The healthcare information can be managed and utilized efficiently by using the view. We ascertained that the lifelong Healthcare Information Management System is an improvement to overcome the inefficiency of healthcare information management and the connection inadequacy between schools and medical institutions, and is desirable for a lifelong management of the National Human Resource.

  • This research aims to shed light on the technology adoption process and its drivers in the Vietnamese educational system. Research data was collected with an online questionnaire from more than 600 teachers in primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, colleges, and universities in Vietnam in 2020. Based on a holistic literature review, we develop a model of two extrinsic factors (global needs and school-infrastructure), and two intrinsic factors (teachers' technological literacy and their beliefs), which are correlated with the teachers' technological adoption. We measure the dependent variable by asking the teachers' ability and their efficacy to implement technology in teaching according to a Likert scale. With the support of SPSS_22 and STATA_2015, we find that over 70% of changes in technology adoption are explained by the changes in four independent variables and three control variables related to age, gender, and teaching-level of the teachers. Furthermore, these independent variables are significantly and positively associated with two dependent variables. However, a significant difference in technology integration ability can be seen among teachers' gender, age, and school-level. Specifically, male teachers seem to adopt technology at schools than female teachers better, and university teachers have the lowest level of technology adoption compared to other school-level teachers.

  • This study is to seek methods for optimum management of foodservice system for elementary schools in Korea through surveying and analyzing the current status of the "common-management foodservice system" and certain important factors relating to its operations. For the survey of the current status of the "common-management foodservice system", questionnaires are prepared as against schools adopting "common-management system"("Common Schools") as well as schools adopting "conventional management system" ("Conventional Schools") in Kyungsangbookdo ("Kyungbook") area. The survey items are composed of general items, items concerning tasks of dietitians, items concerning purchasing activities and items concerning level of recognition and job-satisfaction of the dietitians. Total 46 dietitians from Common Schools and 65 dietitians from Conventional Schools in Kyungbook region responded the questionnaires. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Information Concerning Dietitians Average age of the dietitians: 26.6 yrs Ratio of two years or less of experiences as school dietitian: Dietitians from Common Schools: 59.1% Dietitians from Conventional Schools: 50.8% 2. Types of the Foodservice In both schools, rural type are prevalent; however, between urban types and islands types, the ratio of urban types are larger than the ratio of islands types in Conventional Schools, and the opposite is true in Common Schools. 3. Decision of Suppliers The ratio of dietitian's participaion in the decision making reaches only 38.3%, indicating the possibility of problems in quality control and hygienic aspects of the food supply. 4. Factor Analysis of the Foodservice Duties Food supply and general affairs administration work was carried out very well (4.2), while personnel management and operational improvement work (2.8), nutritional education work (2.3), and information related work were poorly carried out. No significant differences were found between the two types of the foodservice management systems. 5. Job Satisfaction scores of Dietitians Dietitians were more satisfied with the works (50.0), supervision (50.5) and co-workers (46.9) than pay (18.0) and promotion (22.3).

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest practical experience to develop small sized e-Learning system. The system is designed to help lecturers can arrange interface, organize contents, submit examinations and assess learner's score with no professional computing skills. The system has three advantages. First, it reduced implementation period through the use of GUI. Second, it is ordered to be personalized to construct format of the whole interface. Third, it has operational convenience which can be implemented on PC based system. These personalized features are enabling Learning on Demand. Also, there is comparatively low cost and high effectiveness on e-Learning implementation which facilitating quick adoption of e-Learning in its lectures.
