  • A number of schools have introduced the Reward and Punishment Mark System. It has been applied to children at school in order to minimize the ill effects that are often caused by physical punishment. In this case, teachers have caused problematic issues in the course of student life guidance at school. However, the application of the personal Reward and Punishment Mark System raises many other questions as well. Accordingly, there is the necessity of making up for its weak points on the systematic level. The purpose of this study is to understand the Effect of the Collective Reward and Punishment Mark System, as a substitute punishment to the physical punishment, applying the reward and punishment mark system not to an individual but to a group. The Collective Reward and Punishment Mark System for the upper grade students of primary schools showed a positive effect which assists their adaptation to school. To put it more concretely, according to the characters of the study subjects, the system has proved that boy students are more positively affected than girl students. It has been also revealed that those students in the fourth grade experience a positive change in all areas of the adaptation to school, while those in the fifth and the sixth grade were negatively affected. Moreover, those who hold a lower rank in respect of grade achievement experienced a more positive change than those standing among a high rank. It is expected that the Effect of the Collective Reward and Punishment Marks System, on the basis of the study, possesses affirmative intervention on the field.

  • Due to the characteristics of an ad hoc network without a control center, self-organization, and flexible topology, the trust evaluation of the nodes in the network is extremely difficult. Based on the analysis of ad hoc networks and the blockchain technology, a blockchain-based node-level trust evaluation model is proposed. The concepts of the node trust degree of the HASH list on the blockchain and the perfect reward and punishment mechanism are adopted to construct the node trust evaluation model of the ad hoc network. According to the needs of different applications the network security level can be dynamically adjusted through changes in the trust threshold. The simulation experiments demonstrate that ad-hoc on-demand distance vector(AODV) Routing protocol based on this model of multicast-AODV(MAODV) routing protocol shows a significant improvement in security compared with the traditional AODV and on-demand multipath distance vector(AOMDV) routing protocols.

  • In this article, I singled out the examples of punishment and compensation seen in Liaozhaizhiyi which is an eighteenth century collection of short stories, and reconstructed the viewpoint of Chinese fortune and misfortune and furthermore presented the cultural meanings that this viewpoint has. The traits of Chinese culture seen in Liaozhaizhiyi are classified as follows: ① Only after carrying on a family line by birth of son(s), a happy conclusion can be made. ② AMain character passes state exam or alternatively his son(s) passes them. ③ Beautiful women / women given as reward have special abilities and talents. ④ Mostly, punishment and Compensation are made on a family basis, not on an individual basis. ⑤ Misfortune derives from a main character's desire; fortune from his sacrifice. ⑥ Norm and criteria for the punishment and compensation are based on confucianism but the procedure of the execution is based on taoism, buddhism, transcendent being and rules of folk religions.

  • In this study, I considered an important characteristic of system in pre-Qin philosophy that accomplished all categories with the best value. I pointed out misreading that thinkers separated fazhi-theory from shu zhi- theory of Hanfeizi. So I analyzed argument causes of Hanfeizi's shuzhi-theory through epistemology, ethics, military theory. And I proved that understanding the actual conditions and essences of things assured the objective bases on a reward and punishment. There are three things about argument bases of Hanfeizi's shuzi-theory. First, the epistemology that analyzes the actuality of a thing and that endows a duty matching the natural character of a thing. Second, ethics that isn't restricted by a fixed form and is in harmony with a law and that reveals a selfish character freely. Third, military theory, that is a trick that analyzes the quality of a case and a thing accurately. Above the three show that there are an objective basis of reward and punishment and an fair execution about a law in Hanfeizi's shuzhi-theory.

  • As a substitute for preventing school violence, the reward and punishment system has some problems such as different imposition basis for each teacher, ambiguity of applicable items, and difficulties in directing students in relation to parents of students. In this thesis, a reward and punishment points management system is implemented based on the web to solve the problems. The week point of the current system is complemented by separating the system into four parts, operating each part that is operated by administrators, teachers, students and their parents respectively and sharing their data. In addition, as each group of administrators, teachers, students and their parents is organically connected to the system, when special problems occur, the problems can be solved effectively. Therefore, if the implemented system is used in the field, the guidance of human nature is naturally conducted by understanding broadly for student's living guidance. Furthermore, it can be helpful to prevent students from school violence in advance.

  • Current OSH system was analyzed in this paper to explain why high fatal incidents and disasters are continuously repeated for recent years in Korea. It was found that we have Dichotomous Perceptional Misconception of prevention before accident and compensation after accident and there is a significant lack of proper feedback reward system for OSH performance. It was assumed that no reduction of accident rate and fatality rate have not been achieved recently despite of a great effort and increased resource allocations. Some statistics for proving weak punishment were analyzed. In the current system, the will of administrative agency would have been very limited particularly in the legal aspects. The Industrial Safety and Health Act is not suitable to after-injury punishment for employer and/or corporate since it is based on a framework for enforcement of prevention. Based on these analyses, it was concluded that there was a need to consider a special law for Corporate Accountability for Fatal Accidents. Because it is necessary to consider seriously for introduction of a new legal system for after injury punishment to repair the current system where it was found lack of proper feedback system. Also, there was no proper sanction measures for corporate with the current OSH legal system, and the most urgent problem in OSH area is the high fatality rate. it is necessary to consider seriously for introduction of a new legal system for after injury punishment. Also, there is no proper sanction measures for corporate with the current OSH legal system, and the most urgent problem in OSH area is the high fatality rate.

  • The optimal price strategy selection of two bounded rational cognitive mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) in a duopoly spectrum sharing market is investigated. The bounded rational operators dynamically compete to sell the leased spectrum to secondary users in order to maximize their profits. Meanwhile, the secondary users' heterogeneous preferences to rate and price are taken into consideration. The evolutionary game theory (EGT) is employed to model the dynamic price strategy selection of the MVNOs taking into account the response of the secondary users. The behavior dynamics and the evolutionary stable strategy (ESS) of the operators are derived via replicated dynamics. Furthermore, a reward and punishment mechanism is developed to optimize the performance of the operators. Numerical results show that the proposed evolutionary algorithm is convergent to the ESS, and the incentive mechanism increases the profits of the operators. It may provide some insight about the optimal price strategy selection for MVNOs in the next generation cognitive wireless networks.

  • This study is focused on mediating effect of academic motivation between the educational environmental factors on Self-determination Theory and Reward and Punishment Mark System. For the purpose of this study, a questionnaire survey uses a scale being developed through the educational environmental factors on self-determination, academic motivation, and academic achievement. The survey was conducted among 202 students in middle and high school in Seoul. First, autonomy of variables of educational environment based on self-determination theory has influenced on internal and external academic motivation, confidence makes internal and reasonable motivation high, and relationship makes demotivation low. Second, Reward and Punishment Mark System which has recently been replaced traditional punishment doesn't have influenced on academic motivation of students. Third, internal motivation has positively influenced on willingness to take classes and academic achievement analyzing the effect of academic motivation sub-factors on academic achievement. Therefore, this study suggests that autonomy, confidence, and relationship in self-determination theory make academic motivation and willingness to take classes high.

  • The Purpose of this study is to analyze the mechanism of permanent death and playing aspects in Rogue-like games. The death in digital game is not only punishment of failure, but reward for player's growth. However the mechanism of permanent death which does not allow to resurrect is critical penalty for players and causes play-cycle with high anxiety. In the mechanism of permanent death, players do critical play to evade the death. But when they replay the game they modify their unethical choices to build alternative game world. Through the mechanism of permanent death which demands critical and alternative play, it could be possible to find the way to design games with serious choice.

  • Among the techniques of reinforcement learning, Q-Learning means learning optimal policies by learning Q functions that perform actionsin a given state and predict future efficient expectations. Q-Learning is widely used as a basic algorithm for reinforcement learning. In this paper, we studied the effectiveness of selecting and learning efficient paths by designing policies and rewards based on Q-Learning. In addition, the results of the existing algorithm and punishment compensation policy and the proposed punishment reinforcement policy were compared by applying the same number of times of learning to the 8x8 grid environment of the Frozen Lake game. Through this comparison, it was analyzed that the Q-Learning punishment reinforcement policy proposed in this paper can significantly increase the learning speed compared to the application of conventional algorithms.
