태평양전쟁 말기의 수인(囚人) 동원 연구(1943~1945) -형무소 보국대를 중심으로- (A Study on the Mobilization of Prisoners in the Late Wartime Period (1943~1945) -with a focus on the National Protection Corps of Prisoners-)

  • This article aims to shed light on the wartime labor mobilization of prisoners on a large scale in/across colonial Korea and beyond during the late wartime period. More specifically, this article reveals the logic and mode of mobilization, and sorts out nationwide mobilization cases in colonial Korea. To this end, this article draws on documents and magazines published by the criminal administration of the Japanese Government-General of Korea, as well as the memoirs of prisoners and prison staff including prison administrators and prison chaplains. With the onset of the wartime system, the labor work in prisons centered on the production of military supplies. In 1943, the labor mobilization began to organize the National Protection Corps and dispatch them to remote workplaces. For example, at the requests of the military, prisoners were selected and sent to Hainan Island, while others were sent to military factories and mining fields in the northern part of the country. The authorities specified and adjusted the criteria for imprisonment based on education, physical strength, and other physical and mental conditions. Unconverted ideological offenders were excluded from the mobilization, and instead put under separate control. In preparation for mobilization, the prisoners trained in military drills, received Japanese language education, and underwent assimilation as imperial subjects through the preaching in prison. In order to induce prisoners to volunteer, a legislation system based on the shortening of the prison terms, including the parole system, was also promoted under the wartime system. As a result, prisoners were forced to work harder and faster even under the lowest of wages, poor food and poor housing conditions, and they also filled vacancies in managerial positions by serving as supervisory assistants. The reward system for them, however, did not function properly towards the end of the war, and the number of escapes and infectious outbreaks, as well as mortality rates rapidly increased under the harsh conditions.

  • The use of Hi-Tech in cultural heritage preservation and the promotion of cultural heritage values in general, particularly artifacts, opens new opportunities for attracting tourists while also posing a challenge due to the need to reward high-quality excursions to visitors historical and cultural values. Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Hi-Tech in new building management have been widely adopted in the construction industry; however, Historic Building Information Modeling (HBIM) is an exciting challenge in 3D modeling and building management. For those reasons, the Scan-to-HBIM approach involves generating an HBIM model for existing buildings from the point cloud data collected by Terrestrial 3D Laser Scanner integrated with Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), contributes to spatial historic sites simulation for virtual experiences. Therefore, this study aims to (1) generate the application of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality to Historic Building Information Modeling - based workflows in a case study which is a monument in the city; (2) evaluate the application of these technologies to improve awareness of visitors related to the promotion of historical values by surveying the experience before and after using this application. The findings shed light on the barriers that prevent users from utilizing technologies and problem-solving solutions. According to the survey results, after experiencing virtual tours through applications and video explanations, participant's perception of the case study improved. When combined with emerging Hi-Tech and immersive interactive games, the Historic Building Information Modeling helps increase information transmission to improve visitor awareness and promote heritage values.

The Roles of Money's Pride and Surprise Tag on the Use of Money

  • The present research examined the interesting but less attended effects of pride- and surprise-tagged money on consumers' spending decisions. Focusing on the unexpected money received in their daily life, we explored recipient's judgments and responses toward pride-tagged money versus surprise-tagged, and identified differences in types of recipient's consumption and spending behaviors between the pride- tagged money and the surprise-tagged money. Consumers tend to use the money associated with pride (vs. surprise) to reward their invested effort; as a result, they were more likely to buy a personal gift. Moreover, in the context of self-gift, consumers with pride-tagged money have showed a bigger positive difference between the intent to buy individual self-expressive products and the intent to buy social self-expressive products than those with surprise-tagged money. And the receipt of pride-tagged money activates motivation to express one's individual self. Consumers who have received a sum of extra money tend to add the money into the current spendable income account and broaden the array of product category. And consumers with high arousal level of surprise triggered by receiving a sum of unpredictable money because of good luck show a smaller difference between the intent to buy individual self-expressive product and the intent to buy social self-expressive product than those with low level arousal in pride. Therefore, marketers should advertise their products in the respects of individual self-expression when their customers have pride-tagged money, and should advertise their products in the respects of social self-identity when they have surprise-tagged money by winning a large sum of unpredicted money like lottery winning.

치위생학과 대학생의 셀프리더십이 학습민첩성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Self-Leadership in Dental Hygiene Students on Learning Agility)

  • 본 연구는 치위생학과 대학생의 셀프리서십이 학습민첩성에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하고자 한다. 2021년 9월 6일부터 10월 1일까지 K지역에 있는 2개 대학교 치위생학과 대학생을 대상으로 195부 시행하였다. 통계프로그램은 SPSS win 25.o을 이용하였다. 셀프리더십에 있어서는 대학생활 만족도, 전공만족도, 대인관계, 성격에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났고 학습민첩성에 있어서는 흡연예방 및 금연교육, 건강상태, 대학생활 만족도, 전공 만족도, 대인 관계, 성격에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 치위생학과 대학생에게 셀프리더십이 학습민첩성을 높일 수 있는 프로그램 및 교육을 개발하여 학교만족도와 전공만족도를 높일 수 있는 방안이 필요하며 다양한 학문간의 접근으로 반드시 융합연구가 앞으로는 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

Variations in Neural Correlates of Human Decision Making - a Case of Book Recommender Systems

  • Human decision-making is a complex behavior. A replication of human decision making offers a potential to enhance the capacity of intelligent systems by providing additional user assistance in decision making. By reducing the effort and task complexity on behalf of the user, such replication would improve the overall user experience, and affect the degree of intelligence exhibited by the system. This paper explores individuals' decision-making processes when using recommender systems, and its related outcomes. In this study, human decision-making (HDM) refers to the selection of an item from a given set of options that are shown as recommendations to a user. The goal of our study was to identify IS constructs that contribute towards such decision-making, thereby contributing towards creating a mental model of HDM. This was achieved through recording Electroencephalographic (EEG) readings of subjects while they performed a decision-making activity. Readings from 16 righthanded healthy avid readers reflect that reward, theory of mind, risk, calculation, task intention, emotion, sense of touch, ambiguity and decision making are the primary constructs that users employ while deciding from a given set of recommendations in an online bookstore. In all 10 distinct brain areas were identified. These brain areas that lead to their respective constructs were found to be cingulate gyrus, precentral gyrus, inferior parietal lobule, posterior cingulate, medial frontal gyrus, anterior cingulate, postcentral gyrus, superior frontal gyrus, inferior frontal gyrus, and middle frontal gyrus (also referred to as dorsolateral prefrontal gyrus (DLPFC)). The identified constructs would help in developing a design theory for enhancing user assistance, especially in the context of recommender systems.

주식 거래의 필수 개념, 도구, 기법 및 방법에 관한 연구: 거래자와 투자자를 위한 안내서 (A Study on Essential Concepts, Tools, Techniques and Methods of Stock Market Trading: A Guide to Traders and Investors)

  • 본 논문에서는 주식 시장의 기술적 분석의 기본에 대해 제시하였다. 소매 투자자나 거래자는 다양한 정보원으로부터 나오는 외부 정보를 얻을 수 있는 수단이 제한적이다. 일반적으로 기술적 분석에는 캔들 차트가 주로 활용된다. 인도의 대부분의 브로커는 차트 솔루션도 제공하고 있다. 보안이나 원자재 또는 Forex의 가격 변동을 분석해 보면 일반적인 주가 변동 패턴을 예측 할 수 있다. 주가는 특정 수준에서 반영되며 지지 및 저항 수준으로 널리 알려져 있다. 유가 증권의 가격에 발생하는 모든 일이 과거 언젠가 이미 진행된 패턴 또는 주기의 일부로 간주되기 때문에 이러한 연구는 영리한 애널리스트가 특정 확률로 가격의 미래 변동을 예측하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있다. 캔들스틱의 패턴, 가격 변동, 거래량 및 지표에 대한 연구는 가능한 목표 및 손절매로 높은 확률의 거래를 할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 본 연구 결과를 활용하여 트레이더나 투자자는 확률이 높은 거래나 조건을 취하고 투자 손실을 통제할 수 있게 된다.

중국 배드민턴 지도자 리더십 행동유형이 운동스트레스에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Chinese Badminton Leader Leadership Behavior Types on Exercise Stress)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중국의 배드민턴 운동선수를 대상으로 지도자 리더십 행동유형이 운동스트레스에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 데 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 국가대표 유무 경력 경험이 있는 중국 배드민턴 선수 203명을 유목적 표집 하였다. 총 203부의 설문을 배포하여 그 중 불성실한 자료를 제외한 170부를 활용하여 연구목적에 맞게 자료처리를 실시하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구통계학적 변인에 따른 지도자 리더십 유형, 운동스트레스는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타낫다. 둘째, 상관분석결과 운동스트레스와 그 하위요인들과는 정적인의 상관관계가 나타났다. 독립변수인 리더쉽 행동유형, 민주적 행동, 사회적지지 행동, 긍정적 보상행동과는 부적인 상관관계가 나타났으며, 훈련과 지시행동, 권위적 행동과는 정적인 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 지도자 리더십 행동 유형에 따라 운동스트레스는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

외국인 유학생의 대학생활 안내를 쉽게 돕는 AR 게이미피케이션 제작 사례 (A Case Study on AR Gamification to Help Easy and Funny College Life for Foreign Students)

  • 국제화에 따라 외국인 유학생 수가 갈수록 많아지고 있지만, 유학생은 학교 방문 초기에 캠퍼스 환경이 낯선 경우가 많다. 본 연구 목적은 외국인 유학생들이 입학한 후에 캠퍼스가 낯설고 학습생활이 불편한 점들을 개선하고자 게임화 기법을 적용한 AR 캠퍼스 안내 App를 설계 및 제작하였다. 제작한 앱은 장소별 학습 목표, 임무(Mission), 및 보상(Reward)를 반영하여 디자인하였다. 공주대학교 재학 유학생에 대한 '캠퍼스 건물 위치정보 인지도 조사'에 따라 6개 표시를 POI(Point of Interest)로 선정하여 사용자가 적극적으로 참여할 수 있도록 적합한 임무 및 문제점을 설계하였다. 사용자는 학교의 중요한 장소를 재미있게 알 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 관련 기기의 사용법도 쉽게 이해 할 수 있게 한다.

프랜차이즈 호텔의 LMX가 종업원의 직무스트레스, 직무역할성과, 그리고 충성도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of LMX on Work Stressors, Work Role Performance, and Employee Loyalty in Franchising Hotels)

  • Purpose - In hotel industry, quality of leader-member exchange(LMX) relationship is very critical, because it impacts on the employee's work attitude and behaviors. Thus, this research examines the effect of LMX on employee loyalty in the context of hotel business and identifies mediating roles of work stressors, work role performance in the relationship between LMX and employee loyalty. This research suggests the guidelines for how hotel leaders should manage their employees and build employee loyalty that improve management and business performance. Research design, data, and methodology - This study tests the structural relationship between LMX, work stressors, work role performance, and employee loyalty. Work role performance divide into three sub-dimensions such as individual task proficiency, individual task adaptivity, and individual task proactivity. In order to examine the purposes of this research, research model and hypotheses were developed. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and tested in the previous studies. The data were collected from 113 franchise hotel employees and were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and SmartPLS 3 program. Result - The findings of this research are as follows. First, leader-member exchange(LMX) have significant positive impacts on work stressors, work role performance, and employee loyalty. Second, work stressors have significant negative impacts on work role performance and employee loyalty. Third, work role performance has significant positive impact on employee loyalty. Conclusions - The outcomes of this research indicate that hotel leaders should focus on the dyadic relationship with their employees how to improve employee productivity through LMX relationship. In turn, the quality of this relationship influences employees's work attitudes and behaviors. As a result of increasing job demands in hotel business which relies heavily on human resources, the hotel leader must find ways to prevent or reduce stressors and associated strains. If hotel employees perceive the high quality of LMX relationship, they improve their work role performance which influences loyalty. Therefore, the hotel leaders should develop monetary or non-monetary reward system for the employees and, make an efforts to have unique social exchange relationships with employees.

분산 인공지능 학습 기반 작업증명 합의알고리즘 (Distributed AI Learning-based Proof-of-Work Consensus Algorithm)

  • 대부분의 블록체인이 사용하는 작업증명 합의 알고리즘은 채굴이라는 형태로 대규모의 컴퓨팅리소스 낭비를 초래하고 있다. 작업증명의 컴퓨팅리소스 낭비를 줄이기 위해 유용한 작업증명 합의 알고리즘이 연구 되었으나 여전히 블록 생성 시 리소스 낭비와 채굴의 중앙화 문제가 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 블록생성을 위한 상대적으로 비효율적인 연산 과정을 분산 인공지능 모델 학습으로 대체하여 블록생성 시 리소스 낭비문제를 해결하였다. 또한 학습 과정에 참여한 노드들에게 공평한 보상을 제공함으로써 컴퓨팅파워가 약한 노드의 참여 동기를 부여했고, 기존 중앙 집중 인공지능 학습 방식에 근사한 성능은 유지하였다. 제안된 방법론의 타당성을 보이기 위해 분산 인공지능 학습이 가능한 블록체인 네트워크를 구현하여 리소스 검증을 통한 보상 분배를 실험 하였고, 기존 중앙 학습 방식과 블록체인 분산 인공지능 학습 방식의 결과를 비교하였다. 또한 향후 연구로 블록체인 메인넷과 인공지능 모델 확장 시 발생 할 수 있는 문제점과 개발 방향성을 제시함으로서 논문을 마무리 하였다.
