In this study, we analyzed the accidental hydrogen embrittlement affecting the track nut on a self-propelled howitzer. Tracks are key components to maintain a high degree of confidence in the operation of the self-propelled howitzer and the safety of the crew. This study analyzed the fractured surface using SEM to review accidental damage of the wedge nut. In addition, we conducted revival tests and analyzed the results to identify the cause of the wedge nut damage from hydrogen embrittlement. We should carry out factor analysis and continuous improvement of the manufacturing process to determine the accidental breakage mechanism for future enhancement of the self-propelled howitzer. This study will be the useful reference for enhancing process designs in similar products.

The aim of this study is to identify the formative feature of the Chippendale style of the 18th century and to understand the aesthetic feature of the Chippendale style applied in the modern fashion. This is significant in that new possibilities are proposed in fashion design in more holistic and multifaceted views by comparing and delving into the fashion vis-a-vis other fields in a bigger scope of the formative art. The Chippendale style furniture is a combination of various styles of different eras and regions such as Gothic and Chinese style based on the Rococo style. Today, It is regarded in fashion as a composite design of heterogeneous elements or very curvy decorative design. The Chippendale style of this kind is classified into the Rococo style, Gothic style and Chinese style. Depending on each classification, formative features including curves, asymmetry, decorativeness, geometrical feature, exoticism, compositeness and graceness were derived. In comparative studies, fashion and furniture of the Chippendale style have the similarity in formative features but there were some differences in the expressive method. This study analyzed the formative features of the Chippendale style represented in furniture and the modern fashion based on the Rococo-revival design in the modern fashion starting from 2000.

In the 21st century, fashion design trend is focused on 'retro'. 'Retro' is the one of the important trends in this century. In the rapidly changing present, the more people want to find a clue to the hope and happiness from the past nostalgia. Reflecting such people's desire, retro fashion has boomed again from 2000 as one of powerful trends. This research conforms the meaning of retro fashion and characteristic of retro fashion design. And through this processing, it was find that retro fashion design had lost century retro romantic fahion image. Therefore, in this research, the processing about development of retro dress design of retro romantic fashion image was showed by using CAD. The results of this study are as followings. First, Retro fashion is worth the high value of good producr of new and creative for consumers who pursuit tranquil mood in the midist of dailly change Second, Nostalgia and revival of style for each 10 years after 1920's is well brought out in Retro trend of modernt fashion. Also decorative and elegant style are marked by retro romantic fashion mood. Third, fashion design using the computer graphics was presented by application retro romatic image. It is mixed with elegance and modernity based on retro feeling, It is suggested that computer graphics was effectively used in fashion design development to the newly romantic and modern style through 1950'-1960'intimate retro fashion image.

Korea's first tram (so called "tram"), which was commenced the operation on May 4, 1899 of late Joseon Dynasty and run until 1968, played a pivotal role of public transportation. However, tram as new transportation mean is being recognized as traffic congestion problem becomes issue due to geometric automobile increase and reckless urban plan after stoppage of tram service. Tram has an advantage of inexpensive construction cost and eco-friendly means compared to existing and city railway, carrying more passengers rather than existing bus, excellent connectivity of existing transportation because of easy accessible to destination in the city center. Therefore, tram, what is called "Green Rvolution of Public Transportation", has a dreaming of revival and in the process of pushing. We suggest the accident type which might break out in the early stage of tram introduction and preventive measures by surveying the accident cases of tram advanced country, and study the crossing control measures.

The diagnosis and treatment of cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) is still a challenge. A systematic literature search was performed using Embase, Medline, The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Clinical Trials for the diagnosis and treatment of cow's milk allergy (CMA). Since none of the symptoms of CMPA is specific and since there is no sensitive diagnostic test (except a challenge test), the diagnosis of CMPA remains difficult. A "symptom-based score" is useful in children with symptoms involving different organ systems. The recommended dietary treatment is an extensive cow milk based hydrolysate. Amino acid based formula is recommended in the most severe cases. However, soy infant formula and hydrolysates from other protein sources (rice) are gaining popularity, as they taste better and are cheaper than the extensive cow's milk based hydrolysates. Recent meta-analyses confirmed the safety of soy and estimate that not more than 10-15% of CMPA-infants become allergic to soy. An accurate diagnosis of CMA is still difficult. The revival of soy and the development of rice hydrolysates challenge the extensive cow's milk based extensive hydrolysates as first option and amino acid formula.

During his reign, Kwang-Hae-Kun has done various works to promote literature and book acquisition. Among those works is the establishment of a special office called 'Tok Seo Dang' as he was enthroned in 1608, though it was demolished in 1622. And 'Seo Chuk Kyo In To Kam' was built to recover the scattered and lost books. He encouraged the people to collect and publish books by rewarding those who were engaged in a sort of library works. Their primary responsibility was to collect rare and essential resources, seek the material even in China and publish them using metal printing type. They even sought the diaries and newsletters which the individuals kept at their house. The collected materials were first copied and then kept in 'Shilok' shrine. Among the imported books are Dae Myung Hoi Chon, Chon Choo Sa Chon, Tong Kam Chan Yo, Du Si Tong Chon, Ok Hae, Mun Seon, Hak Hae, Lim Geo Man Rok and some were without titles. Majority of the compiled materials were medical books and geographies like Shin Cheung Tong Kak Yeu Chi Seung Ram, Tong Eui Po Kam, etc. Because of this strenuous effort, they were able to collect and retrieve lots of books and materials between 1608 and 1623. Majority of the published books were of Confucianism(13) which were followed by Political and Legal items(5), Historical documents(3), literature (3), etc. Regarding our library history, one should never forget Kwang-Hae-Kun's significant and remarkable contribution to it.

The pipe laid underground more than three decades ago are already starting to reveal the problem like corrosion. There have been many studies to design robotic system for a cost-effective revival of old pipes. And the ability to inspect in the pipes, the ability to treat and repaint the pipes and the fault-tolerant robotic system are well known important factors for the robotic system. It's real hard part to manage the underground pipes for companies because it needs high technical and too much money. According to this reasons, in this paper, we had design an in-pipe robotic system having abilities to inspect outworn pipes, to treat and paint old pipes. This new robot system is pressing wall type robot, and it has a good carrying power for working.

This study is on the esthetic characteristics of Christian Lacroix's haute couture works. The materials for the study are the precedent studies, the related literature, and the photographs of the works and the interview articles in fashion journal at home and abroad. The result of this study were finds three esthetic characteristics in his works and fashion philosophy; historic, ethnic, and hybrid sense. First, the historic sense, Christian Lacroix's biggest characteristic, is influenced by his major studies, but is not a revival from the past itself but a new characteristic based on borrowing and reinterpreting the images created by introducing and compromising the historic elements. Second, the ethnic sense is influenced by the growing background in his childhood and can be characterized as compromise among the multi-national design features. It is certified by the contrasting images, styles, expressions, materials, ornament elements, and so forth with the worldwide ethnic senses centered by the southern France and Spain. Third, the hybrid sense as the essential characteristic shows the uniqueness in his design by not only combining the modern materials, technologies, and futuristic emotion but also liberally compromising and associating the emotions based on a mixture among the follows; the historic representative styles, the foreign materials, the diversity between the Eastern and Western culture, and all elements, details, trimmings In the fashion design.

The ritual for community is a group ritual performed by the regional community of a village for the safety of the residents and abundant harvests. However, many ritual places have been destroyed by the anti-superstition movement, New Community Movement (Saemaul Movement), industrialization and urbanization since the 1960s. Under the circumstances, this study researched the status of use of the ritual place in Beommul-dong in Daegu where the ritual was revived in 2004 after having been suspended since the end of the 1980s due to urbanization. The revival of the ritual for community in Beommul-dong in Daegu, which had been maintained by the village people alone, is the prime example of the vitalization of local community as the recreation of local community, since the ritual has been transformed into a kind of festival involved with and financed by the local government. The study on analyzing the usage pattern of the ritual place may provide useful sources to come up with the modernized functions of the ritual place as a community place, where the heads of the ward office and cultural center, lawmakers and most of the residents perform the ritual, share foods and tread on the God of the Earth across the village at 11:30 in the morning on every January 16 of the lunar calendar.

This study reviewed the preservation status of the Early Western Style Architecture in Korea based on the on-site research of church buildings which are registered as National Cultural Properties. I have investigated 21 church buildings regarding the frequency, content and concept of restoration. The results are summarized as follows First, the churches have been restored extensively in every 17 years on the average. Second, the main restorations are replacement of bricks, painting, waterproofing, repair of roof and timber. And the main changes are extension of plan, removal of Interior posts, and replacement of floor. Third, the main concept of restorations are historical restoration(62%), critical restoration(23%), stylistic restoration(14%). Forth, the category of restoration have been changed, that is extending of incompletion (1st stage), functional improvement and extension of the span of life(2nd stage), improvement of facilities(3rd stage), restoration to the original state and conservation(4th stage). Fifth, the issues of repairing techniques are revival and replacement of weathered bricks, the removal of painting, and structural reinforcement. This study will be able to be used as the fundamental materials to improve the techniques of restoration of Early Western style masonry buildings.
