The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors which influence on the propensity for pro-environmental consumer behavior. the data used in this study included 712 married women living in Seoul and Kwangju. Statistics used for data analysis were Reliability, t-test, one-way Anova, and Multiple Regression Analysis. According to the results of the regression, the relative importance of variables are in order of; pro-environmental behavior degree of reference group, residential district, ecological value orientation, economic value orientation, convenience-centric value orientation, type of dwelling, the adequacy of community resource, education experience of environment and their explanatory power totalled 30.35%. The result of this study coude be attributed to develop the environmental policy and education program to enhance of pro-environmental behavior. First, Economic approach and ecological approach toward the environmental affairs are not incompatible; indeed, they are may be related. I resume that both of two alternatives are useful to environment policy. And, environmental education be effectively related to pro-environment behavior, life-education and sysmatic support must be provided.
This paper investigates the Moderating effect of entrepreneurship on the relationship between market orientation and international performance in Korean Ventures. Literature revealed that an appropriate alignment between firm strategic orientation and market positioning is critical because of its impact on firm performance. The alignment is especially crucial for SMEs as a result of their limited resource base. However, studies have not adequately accounted for the joint effect of entrepreneurship and market orientation on firm performance in different environments as foreign markets. Drawing upon a sample of 217 internationalized Korean Venture Business, it presents evidence related to mainly moderating effects of entrepreneurship on market orientation-international performance. The Key conclusion from the evidence is that market orientation, alone and in conjunction with certain entrepreneurship dimensions, is positively related to firm international performance. More specifically innovativeness and proactiveness have positively moderated the relationship between market orientation and international performance in Korean Ventures.
Purpose - This study aims to examine the relationship between Chinese employees' collectivism orientation and organizational commitment and interpersonal helping behavior and verify the differences of such relationships between new and the previous generation of employees. Design/methodology/approach - The 262 Chinese employees participated in self-reported survey through online platform. The confirmatory factor analysis and the hierarchical regression analysis were performed to test hypotheses. Findings - We found that Chinese employees' collectivism orientation positively influenced their organizational commitment and interpersonal helping behavior. Regarding the moderating role of generation, our result revealed that while the positive relationship between collectivism orientation and organizational commitment was significant for previous generation of employees, such relationship was not valid for new generation employees. However, there was no significant generational difference in the relationship between collectivism orientation and interpersonal helping behavior. Research implications or Originality - Considering that there have been relatively few empirical studies examining the interaction between employees' cultural characteristic and generations, this study contributes to demonstrate that the positive influence of Chinese employees' collectivism orientation on organizational commitment vary depending on Chinese generations. In addition, this study provides implications that organizational leaders in China should understand that the generational difference can influence how employees' collectivism orientation leads to their attitudes towards organizations and need to establish human resource management system by reflecting generational difference.

Recently, the role of IT service providers has been enlarged from managing a single function or system to reconstructing entire information management processes in new ways to contribute to shareholder value across the enterprise. This movement toward extensive and complex outsourcing agreements has been driven by the assumption that outsourcing information technology functions is a reliable approach to maximizing resource productivity. Hiring external IT service providers to manage part or all of its information-related services helps a firm focus on its core business and provides better services to its clients, thus obtaining sustainable competitive advantage. This practice of focusing on the strategic aspect of outsourcing is referred to as strategic sourcing where the focus is capability sourcing, not procurement. Given the importance of the strategic outsourcing, however, to our knowledge, there is little empirical research on the relationship between the strategic outsourcing orientation and outsourcing performance. Moreover, there is little research on the factor that makes the strategic outsourcing effective. This study is designed to investigate the relationship between strategic IT outsourcing orientation and IT outsourcing performance and the process through which strategic IT outsourcing orientation influences outsourcing performance, Based on the framework of strategic orientation-performance and core competence based management, this study first identifies core competency orientation as a proper strategic orientation pertinent to IT outsourcing and IT outsourcing process management capability as the mediator to affect IT outsourcing performance. The proposed research model is then tested with a sample of 200 firms. The findings of this study may contribute to the literature in two ways. First, it draws on the strategic orientation - performance framework in developing its research model so that it can provide a new perspective to the well studied phenomena. This perspective allows practitioners and researchers to look at outsourcing from an angle that emphasizes the strategic decision making to outsource its IT functions. Second, by separating the concept of strategic orientation and outsourcing process management capability, this study provides practices with insight into how the strategic orientation can work effectively to achieve an expected result. In addition, the current study provides a basis for future studies that examine the factors affecting IT outsourcing performance with more controllable factors such as IT outsourcing process management capability rather than external hard-to-control factors including trust and relationship management. This study investigates the major factors that determine IT outsourcing success. Based on strategic orientation and core competency theories, we develop the proposed research model to investigate the relationship between core competency orientation and IT outsourcing performance and the mediating role of IT outsourcing process management capability on IT outsourcing performance. The model consists of two independent variables (core-competency-orientation and IT outsourcing process management capability), and two dependent variables (outsourced task complexity and IT outsourcing performance). Comprehensive data collection was conducted through an outsourcing association. The survey data were analyzed using a structural analysis method. IT outsourcing process management capability was found to mediate the effect of core competency orientation on both outsourced task complexity and IT outsourcing performance. Further analysis and findings are discussed.
We performed seed germination tests to investigate the effects of seed sowing orientation on germination viability on peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) sprouts. Specifically, we assessed the influence of seed sowing orientation on germination rate, seedling weight, and seedling length, as well as the seedling vigor index. The seeds were sown in oak tree sawdust at 3.0 cm depth. Four seed orientations were tested: vertical with the hypocotyl end down, vertical with the hypocotyl end up, horizontal with the hypocotyl end down, and horizontal with the hypocotyl end up. The mean seed germination percentages of the four seed orientations were significantly different (p < 0.01) and ranged from 25 to 91.7%. The vertical orientation with hypocotyl-end-down and hypocotyl-end-up orientations showed the highest (91.7%) and lowest (25%) germination rates, respectively. The vertical orientation with the hypocotyl end down produced the heaviest (4.9 g) seedlings and the longest hypocotyls (4.65 cm). This orientation also produced the longest true leaf + epycotyl (2.15 cm) and had the highest seedling vigor index (197.1). The seedlings had a straight growth pattern, whereas seedlings from seeds sown with the hypocotyl up had an awkward plumular hook shape. Taken together, to produce peanut sprouts, we recommend placing the seeds vertically with the hypocotyl end down because this orientation leads to a high germination rate, high biomass production, and high overall seedling quality.

Purpose - This study analyzes the relationship between inter-function coordination variables, competitor, customer and innovation orientation that has been developed by Narver & Slater (1990), also known as Market Orientation Strategy on SME Sutera's marketing performance, through direct and indirect effect relationships. Research design, data, and methodology - This study uses a sample of 168 respondents who are silk SME entrepreneurs in eleven Silk Craftsman sub-districts in Wajo Regency - South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Data collection using a questionnaire with a period between January - June 2019. Data analysis use PLS. The stages of testing the results of analysis go through several stages: the first stage, analysis of variable descriptions, the goodness of fit model (AVE, CR, Cronbach Alpha, R2) and hypothesis test. Results and Findings - From the fifteen hypothesis by direct and indirect effect state six hypothesis are rejected and eleven hypothesis are accepted. Overall, the concepts of Resource Based View theory (RBV) and Structure-Conduct- Performance theory (SCP) also provide a strategic picture for businessmen related to product innovation and service innovation and the urgency of regeneration in order to maintain the continuity of superior products in the future.

This study was designed to examine the decision-making and family life satisfaction of the urban middle-aged housewives from the ecological perspective. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of ecological enviornment variables(ie, natural physical-biological environment·social-cultural environment·human-built environment) and their dicision-making on their family life satisfaction. Also, it is to provide some fundamental information that helps to elevate the family life satisfaction of the unban middle-aged housewives. The subjects of this study were 305 housewives living in Seoul and Inchon area, whose age was from 40 to 59. The significant results were as follows: 1) Their decision-making was affected by the following variables in the order of health condition, fate-control orientation, husband’s support, monthly family income and the perception of the adequacy of household income. 2) The ecological environment variables which had an influence on family life satisfaction were the perception of the adequacy of household income, husband’s support, fate-control orientation, health condition and educational level. 3) From the regression analysis, the model was found to be highly significant, accounting for 44% of the variance. Thus, husband’s support was the strongest predictor variable.
The purpose of this study was to identify a determent of mastery approach goal and performance approach goal using a basic concept of goal orientations and goal setting theory, and to evaluate a preference of goal achievement index as a balance score card (BSC). The study model proposed had a adoptable level of goodness of fit index(.94) and root mean square residual(.08). The meditating variable, goal contribution, totally mediated the impact of goal commitment, Y-theory human behavior, and self-efficacy but organizational resource contribution for pursuing goal orientation. Moreover, goal contribution significantly determined mastery approach goal(p<.01) and performance approach goal(.05). In standardized effects, the most powerful antecedent of mastery approach goal and performance approach goal were in order of organizational resource contribution(.27/.28), goal contribution(.21/.17), self-efficacy(.07/.06), and Y -theory human behavior and goal commitment(.05/.05), respectively. Moreover, goal contribution had a more powerful impact on mastery approach goal(.21) rather than performance approach goal(.17). In the preference of BSC, all job types preferred learning and growth index in first. In the second preference, medical doctors and pharmacists chose financial results, nurses customer service, and office managers internal processes. Each job type reflected its' own preferred BSC index to that of the other job types. In comparing a preference of four BSC index of each own job type, it was statistically different at p<.001. In conclusion, one who emphasize organizational goal contribution in pursuing goal orientation has a more strong orientation toward mastery approach goal rather than performance approach goal. A hospital should overcome and harmonize the different preferences of four BSC index since the differences might cause organizational conflicts among job types with having each unique professional norm.

Multi-culturalization in our society may be the cause of many problems, but if appropriately dealt with, diversity brought on by multi-culturalization could resolve chronic abuses in education and create a new culture, thereby contributing greatly to national development. The purpose of this study was to examine the current research on multi-cultural education and to provide a normative orientation to multi-cultural education. The literature research was conducted between March 2008 and September 2009. The followings are the findings of this study. First, the results reveal that the appropriate target of a multi-cultural society should not be assimilation, but rather, multi-culturalism. Multi-culturalism has greater adaptability, and the key lies in its respect for human rights, its strengthening of multi-cultural capacity, and its consideration for the minority by moving toward corporate multi-culturalism that aims for equality in results. Second, the first form of multi-cultural education emphasizes neutrality and argues that it is the best way to respect different cultures. This form of multi-cultural education emphasizes neutrality toward "sameness." In this context, sameness means equality of the rights of human beings. The other form of multi-cultural education emphasizes diversity and argues that it is the best way to respect different cultures. It focuses on the recognition of particularity. But it reveals its shortcomings when it excludes interaction not only between an individual and the culture, but also between the insider and outsider of the culture and its social institutions. Thus, multi-cultural education for mutual understanding is suggested. Third, it has been found that pure homogeneous nationalism must be destroyed, but nationalism needs to transform itself rather than be abolished in a globalized and multi-cultural society. Moreover, on behalf of pursuing open nationalism, the self-transformation of nationalism is advisable, in order to for it to overcome its antagonistic and exclusive nature.

The value of social network and entrepreneurial orientation has widely been acknowledged as a critical resource of business success. However, the previous studies did not specify each role and conceptually have examined them as separate antecedents of firm performance. This study develops propositions concerning network capabilities and investigates the moderating effects of network structures (degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality) on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and firm performance. This research conducted with a sample of 115 small consulting companies in Korea. The findings indicate that closeness centrality moderates the relationship between proactiveness and performance. Also, the combination of betweenness centrality and proactiveness exerts a positive impact on performance. Accordingly, degree centrality enhances the influence of innovativeness on performance. In particular, betweenness centrality exacerbates the influence of risk-taking on performance against our expectation. Overall, these findings conclude the synergistic effects of network capability and entrepreneurial orientation on firm performance. Finally, practical implications and academic propositions are presented regarding the way firms could most effectively utilize entrepreneurial orientation and network capability to maximize firm performance.
