Competitiveness of small and medium companies often rely on the competency of their employees. Many employees however try to move to better environments if possible, which results in high uncertainty in maintaining solid human resources. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influencing factors of turnover intention and organizational loyalty of the early experienced, especially three to five years experienced, employees in the small and medium enterprises. A survey had been conducted using both LMX (Leader Member eXchange) and TMX (Team Member eXchange) as an effort to test the impact of strategic human resource management factors on turnover intension and organizational loyalty. It has been observed that the level of LMX is critical on the turnover intension, while the levels of LMX and TMX are positively related to the organizational loyalty. Especially significant mediation effect affects on the organizational loyalty for TMX via LMX in the serial structure. The human resource management factors become effective under the circumstances where leader and team members exchange activities are activated. These findings can be used in reducing turnover intention and increasing organizational loyalty of early experienced employees by enhancing the leadership training of middle level managers of the small and medium enterprises organizations. Besides, a set of active communication channels should be provided for the young employees so that they can share their work experiences and difficulties within the organization. The key results of this study may help the practitioners set up a management plan to maintain a low turnover rate for their organizations.

The IoT(Internet of things) technology enable objects around user to be connected with each other for sharing information. To support security is the mandatory requirement in IoT because it is related to the disclosure of private information but also directly related to the human safety. However, it is difficult to apply traditional security mechanism into lightweight devices. This is owing to the fact that many IoT devices are generally resource constrained and powered by battery. PSK(Pre-Shared Key) based approach, which share secret key in advance between communication entities thereafter operate security functions, is suitable for light-weight device. That is because PSK is costly efficient than a session key establishment approach based on public key algorithm. However, how to safely set a PSK of the lightweight device in advance is a difficult issue because input/output interfaces such as keyboard or display are constrained in general lightweight devices. To solve the problem, we propose and develop a secure PSK configuration scheme for resource constrained devices in IoT.

Device-to-Device communication(D2D) enables devices in proximity to communicate directly without going through the network infrastructure. In particular, D2D communications in a cellular network can improve the spectral efficiency by allowing the reuse of cellular resources. However, it is not easy to maintain the channel quality of the D2D links and to protect the cellular links from the D2D interferences, since the resource allocations for the cellular users will change with time due to the time-varying nature of the cellular channels. To mitigate the performance degradation of D2D links, we propose to exploit unlicensed bands as auxiliary resources when the D2D links share the uplink cellular resources. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified through simulations.

The primary focus of this study was on the issues associated with family and economic decision-making, in particular for the elderlyhood which might have to (or could be) share the family resources. This study regarded willingness to consider applying for Reverse Mortgage as an economic decision-making. The data was collected by interviewing 320 persons (over age 55) living in metropolitan areas in 2008. We selected 227 cases to find the influence of family, having both spouse and adult-children. We have used a theory of Planned Behavior by Fishbein to analysis three research questions. The results are as follows : first, the results partially explain willingness to consider applying for reverse mortgage using Fishbein's theory. Second, several results indicated that economic decision-makings within the family are influenced by several factors relating to other family member's view. They means that some of Subjective Norm variables, of Attitude Behavior ones, and of Perceived Behavior Control ones. Third, the result shows men and women respond differently to consider to applying for that policy. Men are conscious of the other people, i.e., friends, relatives except close family members, and, on the other hand, women are mindful of close family members, i.e., adult children. Forth, the group who have lower income showed higher intentions to consider that policy, when they have adult-children. Fifth, according to age group, pre-elderly group are influenced by consent of adult-children, a level of education, and on the other hand, elderly group are influenced by the other people, i.e., friends, relatives, a level of education, and so on. These results meaned that these distinct characteristics should be considered to establish Income Security policy for the pre-elderly and the elderly.

In this paper, we propose a decision scheme of amount of required resources in wireless multi-hop systems which can reuse radio resources adaptively among relay stations (RSs). Base stations (BSs) can allocate resources dynamically based on amount of required resources of each RS. Moreover using resource reuse with this allocation method can increase amount of available resources in multi-hop systems. Generally, BSs allocate same amount of resources for RSs which share and reuses same resources for each other. Since amount of required resources are different among these RSs, a decision scheme of a specific value which can represent various required resources of RSs is needed. We propose this scheme which can decide the representative value of required resources of RSs adaptively based on the amount of required resources and the buffer state of each RS. Our simulation results show that the proposed scheme can increase performance of a multi-hop system. System capacity with the proposed adaptive scheme is increased by twice as large as one with a fixed representation value.

The development of artificial intelligence technology and the shift to a software-driven society are raising the need for digital literacy education on how to access, understand, use, create and share new open content in a variety of sustainable open content. At this point in time, this paper defines the digital literacy as the subliteracy concept for data, tools, and device elements. It is defined as a concept that includes cognitive and non-cognitive abilities and is stratified by computer literacy, ICT literacy, and information literacy. Open content is also defined as teaching-learning materials that can be used and shared freely by anyone, such as the Open Education Resource (OER) and the Open Access movement. Based on the two definitions, a three-step strategy for digital literacy education was developed to select open content in the digital environment, followed by a digital literacy education plan, and finally, an education frame to foster digital literacy capabilities.
As the Nagoya Protocol has been in effect since 2014, firms that invest in projects related with the genetic resources should establish methods to share the benefits arising from using genetic resources with the country providing such resources. The objective of this paper is to investigate the factors that affect the genetic resources related investment decisions under the Nagoya Protocol. Specifically, we construct the model of Sharpley value and benefit sharing rate in order to consider the results of benefit sharing with a providing country under the Real Options, and simulate the model in the context of Madagascar Banana project. The results show that the product time to market, benefit sharing rate, and discount rate significantly influence the investment decisions.

In a device-to-device (D2D) underlaid cellular network, there exist two types of co-channel interference. One type is inter-layer interference caused by spectrum reuse between D2D transmitters and cellular users (CUEs). Another type is intra-layer interference caused by spectrum sharing among D2D pairs. To mitigate the inter-layer interference, we first derive the interference limited area (ILA) to protect the coverage probability of cellular users by modeling D2D users' location as a Poisson point process, where a D2D transmitter is allowed to reuse the spectrum of the CUE only if the D2D transmitter is outside the ILA of the CUE. To coordinate the intra-layer interference, the spectrum sharing criterion of D2D pairs is derived based on the (signal-to-interference ratio) SIR requirement of D2D communication. Based on this criterion, D2D pairs are allowed to share the spectrum when one D2D pair is far from another sufficiently. Furthermore, to maximize the energy efficiency of the system, a resource allocation scheme is proposed according to weighted graph coloring theory and the proposed ILA restriction. Simulation results show that our proposed scheme provides significant performance gains over the conventional scheme and the random allocation scheme.
Biological data mining has been noticed as an issue as the volume of biological data is increasing extremely. Grid technology can share and utilize computing data and resources. In this paper, we propose a hybrid system that combines biological data mining with grid technology. Especially, we propose a decision range adjustment algorithm for processing efficiency of biological data mining. We obtain a reliable data mining recognition rate automatically and rapidly through this algorithm. And communication loads and resource allocation are key issues in grid environment because the resources are geographically distributed and interacted with themselves. Therefore, we propose a dynamic load balancing algorithm and apply it to the grid-based biological data mining method. For performance evaluation, we measure average processing time, average communication time, and average resource utilization. Experimental results show that this method provides many advantages in aspects of processing time and cost.
The change in farmland price has almost always been focused on not only farmers but policy-decision makers; for farmers to get information before purchasing farmland; for policy-decision makers to use appropriate policy tools to stabilize the market. So far the change in farmland price has been calculated as a form of average change on a year-to-year base. Such calculations have become one of the causes which lead to misunderstanding of the farmland market because the year-to-year average change includes changes in price as well as changes in the number of trades and sizes of traded farmland. This paper is designed to suggest a proper method of building a price index for farmland as a tool to review the price change. We considered the applicability of several types of price indices and concluded that a Laspeyres-type price index is the most reasonable choice. A Laspeyres-type price index, however, has a shortcoming in which a reference year's weight may affect the whole period of an index. Thus, we also suggest two other weights, a three-year average including a reference year and a share of farmland. All indices show that farmland prices have risen significantly in recent 10 years. We hope that the indices will be developed into one of the government's formal statistics.
