본 논문에서는 MPEG2(Moving Picture Expert Group 2)비디오 디코더에서 영상데이타를 디코딩하는 기술에 관한 것으로, 종래의 동여상 처리기에서는 허프만 코드화 처리를 하여 정지영상을 부호화한 후 분할기반 부호화 방식의 동영상 처리기법을 사용하였으나 1프레임의 코드화시에도 많은 계산 알고리즘이 필요하고 이미지의 닮음정도를 객관적수치로 표현할 수 없으므로 비슷한 이미지를 중복 코드화 작업 및 전송 작업을 하는 결함이 있었다. 본 눈문에서는 이를 해결하기 위하여 이미지의 닮음정도를 수치화하고 기준값 이하의 영상은 코드화 작업을 하지않고 계산된 영상 변화값에 의해 구현된 영상으로 대체하여 저장 및 전송하도록 하여 시각적으로 전혀 거부감이 없는 동영상을 구현하였다.

We have proposed a transcoder which converts the MPEG-2 422P@ML bitstream into MPEG-2 422P@ML bitstream. properties of the MPEG-2 422P@ML profile and requirements for the transcoder are analyzed for the proposed transcoder. The MPEG-2 422P@ML profile permits several GOP structures, each of which has little resemblance. Such different GOP structures lead to a complicated transcoder which includes motion estimation, and have limited use of the side information in the bitstream. By computer simulations, we showed that the results of the transcoding is as good as that of the direct coder by MPEG-2 422P@ML.

Despite the fact that the phenomenal success of the classical model in phonology in terms of a small set of binary atomic primitives has encouraged the use of criterical features in the characterization of syntactic and semantic categories, cognitive linguists have recently found many evidences against it and proposed a valid alternative like prototype approach to classical model of linguistic categorization. In this paper the examples with prototype effects are shown in phonology, morphology, and syntax. In phonology there is no clear-cut borderline in initial sounds such as / r, m, n, v, ${\eth}$, z, w. j, b. d, g / and between vowels and consonants. In morphology family resemblance is shown between strong verbs and past tenses. In syntax there is no borderline among various kinds of sentences such as declarative, command, WH-question, yes-no question, etc.

In this paper, Partial Discharge(PD) patterns are compared by means of Low Frequency PD(LFPD, based on the IEC 270) and recently proposed High Frequency PD(HFPD). For this purpose, three different types of artificial defects are provided such as corona in air, void in epoxy insulator and needle defect in XLPE cable insulation. PD were generated from each defect and then detected respectively by two different methods such as LFPD and HFPD. As a result, remarkable resemblance in PD pattern for differ detecting method have been observed from each defect. Accordingly, it could be deduced that the pattern recognition by LFPD could be regarded as the reference for the investigations by HFPD.

As global trade system transferred GATT into WTO, the harmonization of technological standards, certification, construction, testing is the trend of world. This drift is based on WTO / TBT agreement coming. In effect after 12th, April, 1979. For Korea, the distribution system has a strong resemblance to American system so that engineers are confused in adopting standards. IEC60364 and NEC are in part similar but unconvertible because IEC 60364 originated from Europe while NEC originated from USA. This thesis deals with the fundamental elements of electrical safety system with comparing IEC 60364 with NEC. It serves as a guide how to apply standards when engineers select electrical installations.

Necrotizing sialometaplasia (NS) was defined by Abrams et al. in 1973 as a reactive necrotizing inflammatory process involving minor salivary glands of the hard palate. Before that recognition, many patients with this condition had been improperly treated because of its clinical and histologic resemblance to malignancy such as mucoepidermoid carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. We report two cases of necrotizing sialometaplasia. One case involved a 58-year-old male who had an ulcerative palatal lesion exposing underlying bone which has the typical features of the above mentioned condition. Another case involved a 59-year-old male who developed a necrotizing sialometaplasia in association with a dome-shaped palatal swelling which was proved as an adenoid cystic carcinoma after operation biopsy.

Odontomas are nonaggressive, hamartomatous developmental malformations composed of mature tooth substances and may be compound or complex depending on the extent of morphodifferentiation or on their resemblance to normal teeth. Among them, complex odontomas are relatively rare tumors. They are usually asymptomatic in nature. Occasionally, these tumors become large, causing bone expansion followed by facial asymmetry. Odontoma eruptions are uncommon, and thus far, very few cases of erupted complex odontomas have been reported in the literature. Here, we report the case of an unusually large, painless, complex odontoma located in the right posterior mandible.

The 2-1 and 5-4 transitions of SiO have been observed toward the Sgr B2 region, including the Principal Cloud(the GMC containing Sgr B2(M)) and its surroundings. The morphology and velocity structure of the SiO emission show a close resemblance with the HNCO Ring feature, identified by Minh & Irvine(2006), of about 10 pc in diameter, which may be expanding and colliding with the Principal Cloud. Three SiO clumps have been found around the Ring, with total column densities $N_{SiO}{\sim}1{\times}10^{14}cm^{-2}$ at the peak positions of these clumps. The fractional SiO abundance relative to $H_2$ has been estimated to be ${\sim}(0.5-1){\times}10^{-9}$, which is about two orders of magnitude larger than the quiet dense cloud values. Our SiO observational result supports the existence of an expanding ring, which may be triggering active star formations in the Principal Cloud.

Fashion has been compared to art since Japanese avant-garde fashion designers expanded the thoughts about conceptual fashion in late 1970s. The fashion designers focused on the materiality of fashion textiles by placing more importance on it than the shapes. This bears a striking resemblance to contemporary art of 1960s and 1970s as many artists used soft materials like felt, fabric, rubber to emphasize themselves. This study establishes the materiality of fabric, which can be found in both contemporary art and fashion. The classification of materiality consists of flexibility, humanizing and temporality. In this work, there is a significant disparity between contemporary art and fashion.

Phototherapy has perpetual history. we can see an instance of it in Yellow Emperor's Canon of Medicine(黃帝內徑) and Laser therapy is a field of Phototherapy being used frequently in the latest time. We treated patients with hyperpigmentation by laser therapy and experimented it's efficacy and studied the means of clinical application in Korean medicine. We report the capabilities of application of laser therapy, based on the Korean medical theories by using resemblance between laser therapy with kyung-rak(經絡) control technique in the line that connects with the past.
