Study on Upward Machining of Inclined Surface by Ball-End Milling (볼 엔드밀에 의한 경사면 상방향 절삭가공에 관한 연구)

  • The mold industry is competitive, and mold should be processed under optimal conditions for efficient processing. However, the cutting conditions of the ball-end mill, which are a major factor in mold processing, are mostly set empirically, and considerable research is required for increasing the tool life and processing accuracy. In this study, a tool dynamometer and an eddy current sensor were used along with NI-DAQ, a data acquisition device, to obtain characteristic values of the cutting force and tool deformation during the ball end-mill machining of inclined surfaces at a machining center. The cutting force and tool deformation were measured in an experiment. It was found that the tool received the greatest cutting force at the end of the machining process, and the deformation of the tool increased rapidly. Furthermore, the cutting force tended to increase with the angle and number of rotations. The deformation increased rapidly during the machining of a 45° inclined surface.

A study of the content Analysis on the Sexual knowledge and Attitude for the adolescence in Korea (성지식 . 성태도에 관한 우리 나라 연구내용 분석 -중.고.대학생을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the content of the sexual knowledge and sexual attitude of the results of 39 previous studies for the adolescence in Korea, 1976-1997. The basis for analysis was the Guidelines for Comprehensive Sexuality Education developed by the Sex Information and Education Council of the U. S.(SIECUS). SIECUS is consisted of six key concepts; Human development, Relationships, Personal skills, Sexual behaviour, Sexual health, Society and Health. The research consisted of 39 articles that met definitional criteria of content analysis. The results of the study were summarized as follows: 1. Knowledge: It was conducted 96.7% of human development, 90.0% of sexual health, 70.0% of sexual behaviour, 23.3% of society and culture. 2. Attitude: It was conducted 94.1% of sexual behaviour, 73.5% of relationships, 55.9% of sexual health, 41.1% of human development, 26.5% of society and culture, 11.8% of personal skills. 3. General characteristics: With regard to sexual knowledge, 50.0% of research were published 1980s, 43.3% were 1990s, and 6.7%were 1970s. As regard to sexual attitude, 50% of research were published 1980s, 45.5% were 1990s, and 2.9% were 1970s. In sample size, 23.1% of 600 over, 401-500 were 20.5%. In the research tool, it was developed by researcher mainly 66.7%, modified tool by researcher was 5.1%. The tested reliability of the research tool was only 27.9%. And 78.9% of the research was not tested in validity of tool.

  • For the past half century, researches on human psychology have witnessed the flourish of various research tools in this area. Many psychological measures were developed to get objectified data and this trend has lead to the abundance of quantified results. However, considering subjectiveness and refinements of human experience, the research focused on individual's unique perspectives and explanations is needed also. In this vein, this study proposed the usefulness of photography as a research tool for human psychology. With the wide spread of smart phone, taking photo became the everyday activity for modern people and also a part of a public art. If photo could play an efficient and unique role to study human psychology, the depth and width of human understanding might change dramatically in positive way. Two friendship photos were presented to suggest the possibility of photo as a research tool and final considerations of using photo were suggested briefly.

  • Recently, in order to build a cyber threats have increased in number and complexity. These threats increase the risk of using personally owned devices for work. This research addresses how to utilize an AI-enabled breach analysis tool. To this end, we developed and proposed the feasibility of using an AI-based breach analysis tool that reduces the workload of analysts and improves analysis efficiency through automated analysis processes. This allows analysts to focus on more important tasks. The purpose of this research is to propose the development and utilization of an AI-based breach analysis tool. We propose a new research direction in the field of breach analysis and suggest that automated tools should be improved in performance, coverage, and ease of use to enable organizations to respond to cyberattacks more effectively. As a research method, we developed a breach analysis tool using A.I. technology and studied various use cases. We also evaluated the performance, coverage, and ease of use of automated tools, and conducted research on predicting and preventing breaches and automatically responding to them. As a result, this research will serve as a foundation for the development and utilization of AI-based breach analysis tools, which can be used to respond to cyberattacks more effectively through experiments.

  • A chemical tool was developed for the analysis of complex mixtures such as crude drugs by the method of pattern recognition. Pattern recognition was accomplished by a multiple reference peak identification method and three kinds of outlier statistics. This tool was tested on the analysis of synthetic mixtures.

  • Scientific literature is the most reliable and comprehensive source of knowledge for scientific and biomedical information. Citation information in the literature is also reliable source for linking between literatures. We proposed CiNet, a graphic user interface based tool that extracts the trend of the research using citation information. We can navigate related literatures and extract keywords from the linked literature using this tool. These extracted keywords will be helpful to researchers who want to survey the information.

  • In this study, we introduce research aimed at minimizing machining errors without compromising productivity by compensating for the machining errors caused by tool deformation. Our approach experimentally establishes the direct correlation between cutting depth and machining error, and creates predictive models using mathematical functions. This method allows for the prediction of compensated cutting depths to obtain the desired cutting profiles, thereby maximizing the compensation of machining errors in the cutting process.

  • The circuit simulation analysis and diagnosis methods are used to instruments in detail when they give apparently abnormal readings. In this paper, a new simulator through an analysis of the important circuits modeling under severe accident conditions has been designed, the realization for a body work instead of the two sorts of the Labview & Pspice as an one order command in the Labview program. The program can be shown the output graph form the circuit modeling as an order commend. The procedure for the simulator design was divided into two design steps, of which the first step was the diagnosis methods, the second step was the circuit simulator for the signal processing tool. It has three main functions which are a signal processing tool, an accident management tool, and an additional guide from the initial screen.

Study on the Capacity Design Tool Development for Open-loop Ground Heat Exchanger (개방형 지중열교환기 용량 설계 방법에 관한 연구)

  • When applying geothermal systems in cities such as seoul where high density development prevails, the selection of geothermal system capable of obtaining a large capacity in the limited grounds is necessary. In this study, an easy-to-use design tool is developed in the form of spreadsheet by applying the calculation theory of existing closed-loop vertical ground heat exchanger that can be used in the early design stage of the open-loop ground heat exchanger. By only using the maximum cooling and heating load, it is possible to calculate optimal design open-loop ground heat exchanger. Further research is needed, we are plan to improve the program considering the heat loss of groundwater flowing in the inner casing, G-Function for Open-Loop, and verification by applying actual projects.

Develop and Evaluate the Short Form Biomedical Ethics Tool for Medical Workers In Convergence Era (융합 시대의 의료종사자를 위한 단축형 생명의료윤리 도구 개발 및 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a short biomedical ethics tool for healthcare workers, compare it with pre-existing tool, and increase reliability. Data were collected from 211 healthcare workers working in G-do. Exploratory factor analysis was carried out using Varimax rotation extraction method in IBM SPSS WIN/21.0. Convergent validity of the tool was verified by regression and correlation analysis with original tool score. Reliability was verified by calculating intraclass correlation coefficient and internal consistency coefficient. The short, reduced 21 questions tool reflected 84% of pre-existing tool's biomedical ethics. Its reliability was higher than the 29 question tool for nursing students, but there were differences in the components of subdomains and reliability coefficient. Additional development of questions through qualitative research and interviews are needed to increase reliability of the subdomains. Measurement of biomedical ethics dilemma with the tool that has validity and reliability is needed, followed by replication studies.
