The purpose of this study is to explore the process of multicultural perception change of university students who have participated in multicultural mentoring. From May to December of the year 2015, the researcher conducted continuous e-mail interviews as well as in-depth interviews with mentors who participated in multicultural mentoring at I university. The interview contents were transcribed and comparative analysis was done. The result of the study is as follows. The process of multicultural perception change of mentors were discovered to be change in stereotypes, prejudice and ideas on multiculture, difference detection and social desire. They realized that stereotypes and prejudice were the errors of generalization due to their ideas on multiculture which were developed through media. Through mentoring activities the mentors reflected on the inherent negative ideas on multiculture, thus changing their ideas and thoughts. Also, the difference detection acknowledged cultural diversity along with the understanding of the cultural environment of mentees. Social desire expressed their wish for the change of perception in the cultures of others along with the positive change of multicultural perception through mentees. Thus, it was discovered that multicultural mentoring activities are sufficient prerequisites to change the social perception of multiculture from personal interest.

In the period of Japanese occupation comic narratives were popular to such an extent as to be published not only newspapers and magazines but also books as 『Yojigyeong』(1910), 『Jeodobaekhwa』(1912), 『Gaegeonhuihui』(1912), 『Angcheondaeso』(1913), 『Kkalkkaluseum』(1916), 『Socheonsoji』(1918), 『Gogeumgidamjip』(1923), 『Mangogidam』(1924), 『Joseonpaldo iksal & jaedam』(1927), 『Segyesohwajip』(1934). This study is to discuss about how those narratives gain modernity with the titles scattered in 『Byeolgeongon』 as the central figure, and to reveal the nature of the comic narratives in 『Byeolgeongon』 by looking into contents. The comic narratives in the magazine are 149, especially from the titles show the editors' agony at that time. The narratives gain modernity by combining the new trend cultural terms which can't be found in our traditional culture as 'sinbu huboja jeonramhwoe.', 'sinrang huboja jeonramhoe.', 'nonsense teuksseolgwan', 'how modern shipbuilding 10 inventions sinjejo', 'sohwabangsongsil', 'sohwabangsongguk', 'freedom march', 'sinchunpoksodaehwoe' and 'humor orchestra'. The narratives give laughter to the readers by carrying the characters such as wit, enlightenment, critics of social conditions, grotesque. The narratives in the magazine 『Byeolgeongon』 represent much to survive with comic story in a time of gloom in the period of Japanese occupation.

There is a Korean proverb that learns old things and learns new things from it. This study analyzes the change of the policy governance system in the field of information and communication since 2008 and outlines the future directions. The launch of the Korea Communications Commission (KCC), which combines the Ministry of Information and Communication and the Korea Broadcasting Commission in 2008, and the separation of the Korea Communications Commission and Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning in 2013, were systematic responses to the policy environment. Recent changes in the ICT environment, such as the advent of the fourth industrial revolution and the intelligence information society, call for an organizational timely response. In the future, it will be very important to set the scope of ICT policy, the establishment of a dedicated organization, the strengthening of the regulatory system, and the role of the government and the market.

Understanding muslim consumers' needs and behaviour is an essential process for strategic product development in the Halal food market. For our study on Indonesian consumers of Halal food, we conduct a survey of 200 Muslims residing in Indonesia on awareness of ginseng (G) and red ginseng (RG) products, eating experience, like or dislike reasons, cognitive level on the efficacy of G and RG products, purchase behaviors, satisfaction and repurchase intention through a web-based questionnaire methodology. This study reveals that 58 % and 51% of the participants indicate an awareness of G and RG products. In particular, awareness amongst medium- and high-income male consumers in their 20s and 30s is relatively high. This group of participants is also more likely to consume eat G and RG products for health promotion, refreshment, and disease prevention, and positively evaluated product efficacy. They are also aware of the efficacy claims of these products with regard to enhancement of immunity, fatigue, and stamina. While Indonesian Muslim consumers express satisfaction with the health claims, packaging specifications, and design of the products, they are dissatisfied with product types, price, taste, and aroma. The results also found that participants would recommend G and RG products to acquaintances, and are willing to purchase them in the future. Therefore, the segmentation of Halal-certified G and RG products for Muslim consumers and analysis on their product needs could be advantageous for strategic product development.

This study is intended to learn about the factors appearing in parenting stress and the copying strategies by targeting marriage immigrant women who are raising middle and high school student. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted on seven participants of Marriage Migrant Women who are living in Seoul and Gyeongi area. Generally to say, first of results showed that the personal factors, family factors, social factors and enculturative factors were found out as the factors of parenting stress of them. Secondly, problem-centered and emotion-focused coping strategies for the factors of stress were the main ways. Specifically, as the individual factors, the self-efficiency was coped with problem-focused ways and the parenting roles were coped with emotion-focused ways. As the family factors, child's activity and sociality impact their school adjustment and their mother's parenting stress and, various copying strategies were used depending on the different situation. For the social factors, looking for family supporting as the active problem-focused coping ways were used in husband's family and looking for emotional comfort as the emotion-focused coping ways were used in parents' home. In the case of enculturative factors, the emotion-focused coping strategies were used for the Public gaze and the prejudice around them that caused overwhelming sense of helplessness.

The purpose of this study was to verify the construct validity of self-evaluated writing scale for students with disabilities who had difficulties in writing. After interpreting the Here's How I Write scale developed by Goldstand et al. (2013), we administered Delphi survey to 40 special education professionals, calculated the content validity ratio and decided the final scale of 21 questions applicable to Korea. Additionally, we carried out the scale to 350 disabled and normal students for testing construct validity. The main results are as follows: For both students with disabilities and without disabilities, the overall internal consistency of scale are higher than .89 and the internal consistency of factors of scale are higher than .66. The confirmative factor analysis using AMOS 21.0 and SPSS 21.0 to verify construct validity showed fit index at relatively satisfactory level for students with disabilities and without disabilities. Furthermore, while there were relatively strong convergent validity and discriminant validity in the sub-factors of scale for students without disabilities, the level of convergent validity and discriminant validity were relatively lower for students with disabilities.

The purpose of this study was to develop an scientific inquiry learning module by applying ESD and to verify its effect so that students could understand sustainable development and geology concepts by reconstructing the contents of the geology related unit. For this purpose, the "Volcanoes and Earthquakes" unit in the 3-4 grade group of the Korea national curriculum was selected and the scientific inquiry learning module was developed. The developed inquiry learning module consisted of one textbook and one teacher 's guidebook, and it was put into one class of elementary school to verify the effect. As a result, the teacher said that it was good to be taught contents of ESD and it was useful because of the concreteness of inquiry activities. The students responded that they were interesting because developed textbook is more often the interesting picture and activity than traditional textbook. And the students responded that 'ESD' has been an opportunity to be interested in science.

The purpose of this study is to explore the child education experiences of married female students who left their children in their home countries. This study consists of two questions. First, what is the meaning of the child in home country for married female students to their foreign student's life? Second, how they do the child education? For this study data was collected from March to May, 2016 through in-depth interviews with 6 married female students who left their children in their home countries to further their studies in Korea. Then, the data was analyzed their cases were analyzed. First, for married female students their children are always in the first place during their life as a foreign student in Korea. Second, their children play a great role in their foreign student life. Third, the child makes them to be exemplary student in their foreign student's life. In addition, children's education is entrusted to those who are raising them in their home country. However, when big decisions have to be made, it is done by the mother. Also, because they feel sorry towards their children they actively reflect the views of the children. Moreover, they often check everything about their children through SNS. Through this study, we expect to less school life's difficulty of foreign married students and it will be helpful material for them to graduate their foreign students' life. The purpose of this study is to explore the child education experiences of married female students who left their children in their home countries.

As needs for knowledge on Korean history and the attention of the people are rapidly increasing, various smartphone applications for learning the history have appeared during recent years. These applications provide multiple choice questions to users through their own problem banks. But, since these questions are selected from the fixed set of problems that are stored previously, the learning efficiency of users is inevitably decreased when they use the applications repeatedly. In this paper, we present a question generation system named K-History which generates multiple choice questions in an automatic way using the database on the history of Korea. In addition, we also describe the development of the application Korean History Infinite Challenge as a learning application for Korean history. To develop K-History, we classify typical types of learning problems through various problems based on Korean history learning materials, proposing algorithms to generate problems according to the types found. Through the developed techniques, various learning systems can reduce the cost for creating questions, while increasing the learning efficiency of users.

It is more urgent that the humanities have the capacity to cope with the many challenges that the humanities need to ask, seek and solve. At this point, I think that virtue that humanities should have is communication. As humanities are the study of human beings, if all the world that human beings perceive and experience is the subject of humanities, it is also the subject of semiotics, so that as our life changes, semiology also changes, Semiotics can be done with the closest friend created by humans, at that time providing the tools. I believe there is a reason why humanities in this age should speak semantics. We believe that this new semioticism can give a fresh impression to us who thought that the method and nature of truth pursued in natural science and humanities are totally different, and this is also a very experimental field and I believe that this area of future semiotics will be developed in the future. As such, semiotics is a discipline that shows reasons beyond boundaries, so the area it can deal with is also infinite.
