Cross-domain recommender system transfers knowledge across different domains to improve the recommendation performance in a target domain that has a relatively sparse model. However, they suffer from the "negative transfer" in which transferred knowledge operates as noise. This paper proposes a novel Multiple Fusion-based Deep Cross-Domain Recommendation named MFDCR. We exploit Doc2Vec, one of the famous word embedding techniques, to fuse data user-wise and transfer knowledge across multi-domains. It alleviates the "negative transfer" problem. Additionally, we introduce a simple multi-layer perception to learn the user-item interactions and predict the possibility of preferring items by users. Extensive experiments with three domain datasets from one of the most famous services Amazon demonstrate that MFDCR outperforms recent single and cross-domain recommendation algorithms. Furthermore, experimental results show that MFDCR can address the problem of "negative transfer" and improve recommendation performance for multiple domains simultaneously. In addition, we show that our approach is efficient in extending toward more domains.

This study aims to find basic data for using the quantitative assessment of the sustainability and establishing the systematic index of the planning for local cities to consider the environmentally sound and sustainable development. The research designs to review professional responding to surveys preceded by separate questionnaires and interviews from book reviews, and suggests to make an assessment model of the sustainability for local cities. The research found consequently as follows. Firstly, the research survey items were decides totally 52, grouped 9 assessmental issues and distributed under 4 assessmental domains for the sustainability from the references of book reviews. Secondly, the research result concentrated on the followings from the professional responding to surveys. 1. A most influent factor is the distribution of animals and plants in a nature domain. The next influent factors are the ratio of mass-transportation systems, the numbers of the species of animals and plants, the acreage of conservative forestry, the numbers of reused water resources, and the usage number of water supply, orderly in the nature domain. 2. A most influent factor is the usage number of synthetic detergents in a pollution domain. The next influent factors are the volume of waste water, the number of registered vehicles, the degree of soil pollution, and the charge of development imposition, orderly in the pollution domain. 3. A most influent factor is the acreage of athletic facilities, in an urban domain. the next influent factors are the acreage of recreational facilities, the number and acreage of cultural assets, the number of cultural facilities, the acreage of landscape conservation area, the charge of cultural asset management, orderly in the urban domain. 4. A most influent factor is the number of waste disposal facilities in a participation domain. The next influent factors are the capacity of reused waste, the usage of synthetic detergents, the ratio of waste water disposal, orderly in the participation domain. 5. A most contributed influent domain to the assessment of the sustainability for local cities is the urban domain. The next influent domains are nature domain, participation domain, and pollution domain, orderly in the contribution of the assessment of the sustainability. But, the pollution domain is little relationship with the sustainability. Therefore, it is clear that the abundant greens and the improved level of culture are dominant influences on the sustainabiligy, as like improving the ratio of roadside trees, the acreage of parks, and enlarging the number of cultural facilities.
Purpose: Current research aimed at exploring whether group entitativity and satisfaction to becoming the member of group have positive effects on group identification, and whether group identification has positive effects on within-in-group domain consumption. This research focused on the mediation role of group identification in the effects of the group entitativity and the satisfaction to becoming the member of group on the within-in-group domain consumption. Research design, data, and methodology: We selected Shandong Province as our experimental target group and people living in Shandong province as our respondents. 316 questionnaire data were collected. The structural equation model in AMOS 26 were used to verify hypotheses. Results: First, group entitativity affected group identification positively. Second, satisfaction to becoming the member of group affected group identification positively. Third, group identification positively influenced on the within-in-group domain consumption. Fourth, the group identification played the full mediation roles in the effects of both the group entitativity and the satisfaction on the within-in-group domain consumption. Conclusions: marketers should highlight the group identification with their target group by stimulating the perception of the consumer's group entitativity and satisfied feelings about the group to induce the intent to purchase their brand as within-in-group domain consumption object.

We report on the basis of experiments that magnetic domain structures exhibit a transition between single and dendrite domains with respect to the width of ferromagnetic nanowires. This transition is directly observed in CoFe/Pt multilayered nanowires having a width in the range of 580 nm to 4.2 ${\mu}m$ with a magnetic force microscope. Nanowires wider than 1.5 ${\mu}m$ show typical dendrite domain patterns, whereas the nanowires narrower than 690 nm exhibit single domain patterns. The transition occurs gradually between these widths, which are similar to the typical widths of the dendrite domains. Such a transition affects the strength of the domain wall propagation field; this finding was made by using a time-resolved magneto-optical Kerr effect microscope, and shows that the domain wall dynamics also exhibit a transition in accordance with the domain configuration.

Nano-sized inverted domain dots in ferroelectric materials have potential application in ultrahigh-density rewritable data storage systems. Herein, a data storage system is presented based on scanning non-linear dielectric microscopy and a thin film of ferroelectric single-crystal lithium tantalite. Through domain engineering, we succeeded to form an smallest artificial nano-domain single dot of 5.1 nm in diameter and artificial nano-domain dot-array with a memory density of 10.1 Tbit/$inch^2$ and a bit spacing of 8.0 nm, representing the highest memory density for rewritable data storage reported to date. Sub-nanosecond (500psec) domain switching speed also has been achieved. Next, long term retention characteristic of data with inverted domain dots is investigated by conducting heat treatment test. Obtained life time of inverted dot with the radius of 50nm was 16.9 years at $80^{\circ}C$. Finally, actual information storage with low bit error and high memory density was performed. A bit error ratio of less than $1\times10^{-4}$ was achieved at an areal density of 258 Gbit/inch2. Moreover, actual information storage is demonstrated at a density of 1 Tbit/$inch^2$.
Product lifecycle management (PLM) is a new business strategy for enterprise's product R&D. A PLM system holds and maintaining the integrity of the product data produced throughout its entire lifecycle. There is, therefore, a need to build a safe and effective product data model to support PLM system. The paper proposes a domain-based product data model for PLM. The domain modeling method is introduced, including the domain concept and its defining standard along the product evolution process. The product data model in every domain is explained, and the mapping rules among these models are discussed. Mapped successively among these models, product data can be successfully realized the dynamic evolution and the historical traceability in PLM system.
Grb2 is an important adaptor protein in the mitogenic Ras signaling pathway of receptor tyrosine kinases, and contains one SH2 domain and two SH3 domains. The SH2 domain binds to specific phosphotyrosine motifs on receptors or adaptor proteins such as Shc. The SH2 domain antagonists may lead to blocking of the oncogenic Ras signals and to developing new antitumor agents. In the course of screening SH2 antagonists from natural sources, cslerotiorin (1) and isochromophilone IV (2) were isolated from a strain, Penicillium multicolor F1753, and their structures were established by NMR spectral data. The metabolites significantly inhibited the binding between the Grb2-SH2 domain and phosphopeptide derived from the Shc protein, with $IC_{50}$ values of $22{\;}\mu\textrm{M}{\;}and{\;}48{\;}\mu\textrm{M}$ for (1) and (2), respectively. The compounds are the first nonpeptidic inhibitors of the SH2 domain from a natural source.
The purposes of this study were to review developmental stages of acculturation, to establish dimensions and components of intercultural communicative competence, and to suggest teaching methods in the elementary school based on the dimensions and the components of the stages. In order to achieve these purposes, theoretical research on the nature of intercultural communicative competence and teaching methods of intercultural dimensions and components was carried out in terms of developmental stages of acculturation. The stages of acculturation have relation to cognitive domain, affective domain, and cultural awareness. In the domain of cognitive development, the models such as Cummins (1981), Wong-Fillmore (1983), and Ausubel (1968) were presented. In the affective domain of second language research, the models of Gardener and Lambert (1972), Maslow (1954), and Bloom (1974) were argued. Modifying the models of Ausubel, Cummins, Wong-Fillmore, the dimensions and components of intercultural communicative competence were established. In addition, it was suggested that cultural syllabus and lesson plan based on tourist and survivor stage should be considered.
In the present study, domain evolution processes of a near-morphotropic PZT ceramic during poling was studied using vertical piezoresponse force microscopy (PFM). To perform macroscopic poling in bulk polycrystalline PZT, poling was carried out in a stepwise fashion, and PFM scan was performed after unloading the electric field. To identify the crystallographic orientation and planes for the observed non-$180^{\circ}$ domain walls in the PFM images, compatibility theory and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) were used in conjunction with PFM. Accurate registration between PFM and the EBSD image quality map was carried out by mapping several grains on the sample surface. A herringbone-like domain pattern consisting of two sets of lamellae was observed; this structure evolved into a single set of lamellae during the stepwise poling process. The mechanism underlying the observed domain evolution process was interpreted as showing that the growth of lamellae is determined by the potential energy associated with polarization and an externally applied electric field.

Total variation minimization is standard in mathematical imaging and there have been numerous researches over the last decades. In order to process large-scale images in real-time, it is essential to design parallel algorithms that utilize distributed memory computers efficiently. The aim of this paper is to illustrate recent advances of domain decomposition methods for total variation minimization as parallel algorithms. Domain decomposition methods are suitable for parallel computation since they solve a large-scale problem by dividing it into smaller problems and treating them in parallel, and they already have been widely used in structural mechanics. Differently from problems arising in structural mechanics, energy functionals of total variation minimization problems are in general nonlinear, nonsmooth, and nonseparable. Hence, designing efficient domain decomposition methods for total variation minimization is a quite challenging issue. We describe various existing approaches on domain decomposition methods for total variation minimization in a unified view. We address how the direction of research on the subject has changed over the past few years, and suggest several interesting topics for further research.
