  • In this paper have embodied a TCP/IP based small embedded web server and proposed the technical method for monitoring the real-time system states and remote controlling system using HTTP about manipulator joint angle. This also uses TCP/IP, which is the general protocol. and it is made of software, not of the TCP/IP stack with hardware chip. Then we attach the simulating results about the manipulator's input/output via web browser.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 센서 네트워크을 활용한 모니터링 센서 로봇 제어 시스템 응용에 대해서 기술한다. 저전력, 초경량의 모니터링 센서 로봇을 통해서 주변 환경을 원격 감지하며, 로봇간의 ad-hoc networking을 통하여 모니터링 센서 로봇의 방향 및 속도를 제어하도록 하였다. 이러한 무선 센서 네트워크 기반의 모니터링 센서 로봇 시스템은 인간의 접근이 어려운 유해 환경이나 공장, 발전소 등의 위험지역에서 원격 관찰 및 탐지 등의 목적으로 활용 될 수 있다.

  • 이 논문은 인터넷이나 정보통신망을 이용하여 멀리 떨어져 잇는 기기를 제어하거나 감시하는 원격 제어 시스템을 개발하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 이 때 원격 제어용 프로토콜로는 SNMP(Simple Network Manatement Protocol)를 사용하였고, 지역적으로 멀리 떨어져 있는 기기에 대한 실시간 제어 및 감시를 위하여 자바(Java) 환경의 소프트웨어를 구축하였다. 도한 이 논문에서는 네트워크 기기와 응용 기기 사이의 인터페이스 컨트롤러를 제안하여 대부분의 기기에서도 이 원격 제어 시스템을 사용할 수 있다는 가능성을 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 원자력 및 핵의학 분야용 Total RMS(Radiation Monitoring System)를 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 Stack Monitor, Area Monitor, Water(Liquid) Monitor 등을 하나의 시스템으로 확장 및 제어할 수 있는 장비로 각 방사선 검출기에서 측정된 신호를 통합 모니터링 할 수 있다. 제안하는 시스템은 해당 방사선을 검출하는 Sensor Module, 방사선 검출 위치에 인접한 곳에서 방사선량을 디스플레이 하는 Display Unit, 검출된 방사선량이 위험 수준에 도달시 경보를 알리는 Alarm Unit, 각 모니터링에서 측정된 방사선량들을 취합하고 저장하여 원격 감시 시스템에 내용을 전달하는 Main Hub, 원격지에서 측정된 방사선량 상태를 일목요연하게 디스플레이 하는 RMS Monitoring Unit 등으로 구성된다. 제안된 원자력 및 핵의학 분야용 Total RMS의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 공인시험기관에서 실험한 결과, 측정 불확도가 8.5%이하로 측정되어 국제 표준인 ${\pm}15%$ 이하에서 정상동작 됨이 확인되었다.

  • On-Board Diagnostic(OBD) systems are in most cars and light trucks on the load today. During the 1970's and early 1980's manufacturers started using electronic means to control engine functions and diagnose engine problems. The CARB's diagnostic requirements to meet EPA emission standards have been designated as OBD with a goal of monitoring all of the emissions-related components, as well as the chassis, body, accessory devices and the diagnostic control network of the vehicle for proper operation. In this paper, we present a remote measurement system for the wireless monitoring of diagnosis signal and sensors output signals of ECU adopted KWP2000, united the OBD communication protocol, on OBD-compliant vehicle using the wirless communication technique of Bluetooth. In order to measure the ECU signals, the interface circuit is designed to communicate ECU and designed terminal wirelessly according to the ISO, SAE regulation of communication protocol standard. A microprocessor S3C3410X is used for communicating ECU signals. The embedded system's software is programmed to measure the ECU signals using the ARM compiler and ANCI C based on MicroC/OS kernel to communicate between bluetooth modules using bluetooth stack. The diagnostic system is developed using Visual C++ MFC and protocol stack of bluetooth for Windows environment. The self-diagnosis and sensor output signals of ECU is able to monitor using PC with bluetooth board connected in serial port of PC. The algorithms for measuring the ECU sensor output and self-diagnostic signals are verified to monitor ECU state. At the same time, the information to fix the vehicle's problem can be shown on the developed monitoring software. The possibility for remote measurement of self-diagnosis and sensor signals of ECU adopted KWP2000 in embedded system verified through the developed systems and algorithms.

  • This paper presents the development of a knowledge-based control system operating via the Internet. With the synergy provided by the Internet, the central expert controller with its knowledge-base has the potential to serve a multitude of front-end clients located anywhere in the world provided they have Internet access. In this way, the operational span of the knowledge-based control system can be expanded to virtually anyplace within the reach of the Internet. This configuration has positive implications in improving the efficiency of distributed operations, thereby enabling plantwide optimization and costs savings. Datasocket technology is adopted to facilitate a more efficient data exchange between the knowledge-based central server and the front-end clients. A specific application in the remote monitoring and fault diagnosis of machines using the proposed control configuration is presented in the paper.

  • 본 연구에서는 클라이언트/서버 형태로 승용차 조립라인을 시뮬레이션한 컨베이어 시스템을 원격으로 영상을 감시하고 제어하는 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 웹 애플릿을 기반으로 구현된 클라이언트 시스템은 상황실에 위치하여 컨베이어 현장을 영상 감시하고 직접적으로 제어를 담당하는 서버에게 컨베이어 제어 명령을 내린다. 또한 서버시스템 역시자바 프로그램밍 언어를 사용하여 웹 애플릿을 기반으로 구현되었으며, 컨베이어 시스템을 통과하는 생산품 내역에 대한 분산 데이터베이스 시스템을 유지 관리한다.

  • In this paper, we implemented the monitoring and control of geothermal heating and cooling system using mobile devices. The main idea of this system is to provide the convenience if the system can be controled in remote place with monitoring using the mobile devices like PDA. Basically, the system consists of the Server-Client structure divided into two parts, one is PDA and PC, the other is PC and PLC(Programmable Logic Controller). The PDA, which is equipped with Windows CE as as, monitors the status of the devices (motors and sensors, etc) attached to PLC and controls them. This does the system to be controled by the commands, which we assume to control, with wireless transmission between PC and PLC. The PDA parts are responsible for monitoring and control the devices connected to the PLC, and the PC part which equipped with the application is to provide the relation between PDA and PLC.   • Smart device has become an affordable main computing resource for robotic ap-plications in accordance with a fast growth of mobile internet environment. Since the computing power of smart device has been increased, smart device based ro-bot system attempts to replace traditional robot applications with laptop-based system. Methodologies for acquisition of remote sensory information and control of various types of robots using smart device have been proposed recently. In this paper, we propose a robot control system using a monitoring program and a communication protocol. The proposed system is a combination of an educa-tional programming oriented robot named EPOR-S. as small service robot plat-form and a smart device. Through a simulation study using image processing, the feasibility of combination of the proposed robot monitoring program and control system was verified.

  • This paper proposes the new concept & design method and implementation of LonWorks network system for remote monitoring & lighting dimming control and telemetry using Web network. The Experimental LonWorks network system for telemetry & remote monitoring and control are designed and fabricated. As a result, it is verified that LonWorks is open, interoperable, reliable network system from the experimental results, especially, it seamlessly links the data and control networks, allowing the IP(internet) network to be treated as an extension of the LonWorks networks, and vice versa.
