고유수용성신경근촉진법(PNF) 수축-이완 기법의 직접적 간접적 방법의 비교 (The Effectiveness of the Direct and Indirect Contract-Relax Technique in PNF)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of direct and indirect methods of contract-relax techniques in proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching for improving hamstring flexibility. Methods: Twenty-six subjects were randomly assigned to either a direct contract-relax technique group or an indirect contract-relax group. For each group, stretching intervention was performed three times a week for a period of two weeks, with 12 seconds for the contraction and 10 seconds for the relaxation per once. The direct contract-relax technique for hamstring flexibility was applied by asking the subject to press down on the shoulder of the trainer in the straight leg-raising position. Conversely, the indirect contract-relax technique was performed by raising the leg with resistance. To facilitate a comparative analysis of hamstring flexibility between the two groups before and after the stretching intervention, two-way repeated ANOVA was performed. Hamstring flexibility for each group was measured using a passive straight leg-raising test. Results: The results showed significant improvement in hamstring flexibility for all subjects in the two groups. However, there was no significant difference between the groups. Conclusion: In conclusion, both direct and indirect contract-relax techniques are confirmed to be useful for improving hamstring flexibility. The choice of suitable technique has to be made individually according to the condition of each subject.

  • 이 논문에서 우리는 CM-5와 같은 초대형병렬컴퓨터에서 대형 이산선형체제를 풀기 위한 준비행렬로써 두 가지를 소개한다. 대다수의 초대형병렬컴퓨터들은 프로세서간의 통신을 메세지패씽(messagepassing)에 의존하는데 현재의 기술수준하에서는 이 통신속 도가 실수계산속도에 비해 매우 느리므로 종래의 메모리공유컴퓨터에서와는 달리 데이 터통신량을 최소화하는 알고리듬이 요구된다. 블록 SOR에 다중색채기법을 가미한 알고 리듬이 그 한 예로써 우리는 이를 CM-5에서 구현한 결과 N=512x512 행렬에서 프로세서 의 수가 16에서 512의 범위 하에서 50%의 효율을 실현하였다. 반면 종래의 효율적인 병렬 준비행렬로 알려진 AKI알고리듬은 방대한 량의 데이터통신 때문에 매우 열등한 결과를 보여준다.

  • 본 연구는 다중위해사례를 중심으로 경호임무수행 간 출입통제 활동을 실시하는 과정에서 유발되는 경호원의 휴먼에러가 무엇인지 규명하고 그에 따른 대책을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 검증하고자 사건의 순서를 시계열로 배열한 뒤 변동노드를 중심으로 문제점을 파악할 수 있는 'VTA 기법'과 'Why-Why 분석 기법'을 활용하였으며, 추가적으로 'M-SHEL Matrix'를 통하여 휴먼에러를 유발하는 환경요인과 개인요인을 추출하였다. 분석결과, 출입통제 사고를 유발하는 경호환경요인으로는 시간부족(조급함), 방문자에 대한 편견, 편중된 근무방법, 보안 관리미흡, 무사안일주의, 익숙한 분위기(긴장이완), 형식적인 근무활동, 편의제공, 과소평가 등으로 조사되었다. 그리고 경호원 개인적 측면에서 유발되는 휴먼에러는 낮은 경계의식, 형식적인 근무, 검측소홀, 안일한 대처 등으로 조사되었다.

  • 본 논물에서는 척수 손상으로 인하여 암이 수축 및 이완시 미약한 근전도, 신호를 발생시키는 환자로부터 명확한 수축 및 이완 패턴을 추출하기 위한 신호 처리 기법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법은 비선형 고정 필터의 일종인 FatBear 필터를 이용하여 거대 운동단위 활동전위로 의심되는 충격 잡음을 제거하고 웨이브렛 평면에서 비선형 멀티 스케일 필터링 기법을 이용하여 가산 잡음을 제거하는 것으로서 횡단성 척수염으로 인한 마미 증후근을 보이는 환자들에게 적용하여 명확한 수축 및 이완 패턴을 추출할 수 있었다.

요통환자의 천장관절에 대한 도수교정 전과 후의 골반경사 비교 (A Comparison of Pelvic Tilt Before and After Manipulation of Sacroiliac Joint in the Patients with Low Back Pain)

  • The purposes of this study were to compare pelvic tilt before and after manipulation of sacroiliac joint in 31 low back pain patients (11 males, 20 females) with sacroiliac joint dysfunction. The sacroiliac joint of patients was manipulated on the side of anterior pelvic tilt, using the technique described by Stoddard (1962) and Greenmann (1996). I used this technique because it usually eliminated sacroiliac joint dysfunction in one treatment session. SPSS for window computer system was used to analyze the data. Also t-test was performed for comparison of pelvic tilt angle before and after manipulation, and Pearson product-moment correlation analysis was performed for intratester reliability for measurements of pelvic tilt angle before and after manipulation. The result were as follows: 1. Intratester reliability was good for measures of pelvic tilt (r=.98). 2. The pelvic tilt after manipulation was significantly decreased (mean=$3.40^{\circ}$) compared with the pelvic tilt before manipulation (p=.001). All subjects showed asymmetrical right versus left pelvic tilt before manipulation. 40% of subjects showed decreased asymmetrical right versus left pelvic tilt after manipulation, and 60% of subjects showed symmetrical right versus left pelvic tilt after manipulation. I think that pelvic tilt asymmetry with hypomobility due to loss of joint play could be symmetrized by manipulation or mobilization, but pelvic tilt asymmetry with unilateral pelvic muscle shortening could not be symmetrized by manipulation or mobilization without relaxation and stretching of shortened muscles.

동적 스케줄링 문제에서 사용자 상호작용을 이용한 제약조건 완화 (Constraint Relaxation using User Interaction in Reactive Scheduling Environment)

  • 스케줄링 문제는 응용 영역에 따라 각기 다른 작업과 차원을 가지며, 이들간에 여러 가지 제약 조건이 존재한다. 이러한 문제에 인공지능 기법을 이용하여 문제를 효율적으로 해결할 수 있다. 그러나, 동적으로 변하는 상황에서 모든 제약조건을 만족하는 최적해를 구할 수 없는 경우, 부분적으로 만족하는 해를 구하기 위해 제약 조건들은 수정 또는 추가되어야 하며, 때로는 고려 대상에서 제외되어야 한다. 부분적으로 만족하는 해를 구하기 위해, 수정되어야 할 적절한 제약 조건을 스케줄링 시스템이 자동으로 선택하기에는 많은 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 부분적으로 만족하는 해를 구해야 하는 경우, 제약 조건 완화를 위해 사용자와 상호 작용하며 사용자의 의견을 제약 조건에 반영하는 지능형 사용자 인터페이스(Intelligent User Interface)의 모델을 설계하고 구현하였다. 김포공항의 운항 스케줄 데이터를 사용한 실험에서 제약 조건을 모두 적용하여 이를 만족하는 해를 구하지 못한 경우, 사용자의 의견이 반영된 제약 조건완화를 통해 검색 도메인의 증가와 제약 조건을 부분적으로 만족하는 해를 구할 수 있었다.

Chiller용 냉매 CFC-11과 대체냉매 HCFC-123의 전기장을 사용한 핵비등 열전달 촉진에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study of Nucleate Boiling Heat Transfer With EHD Technique in CFC-11 and HCFC-123)

  • Pool boiling experiments were carried out to study the effect of electric field on nucleate boiling heat transfer. CFC-11 and its alternative HCFC-123 were used as working fluids. Boiling on both single tube and a bundle of five tubes was investigated. Heat flux varied from 5 to $25kW/m^2$ while the applied voltage changed from 0 to 1kV. The results showed that at low heat flux where boiling was not present or very weak, electric field-induced forced convection helped increase the heat transfer coefficients of CFC-11 and HCFC-123 significantly(4-15 times increase). However, at higher heat flux, nucleate boiling of CFC-11 which is a highly dielectric fluid, was not affected significantly by the application of electric field. In contrast to CFC-11, even at high heat flux, nucleate boiling of CFC-11 which has a relatively larger electric conductivity than CFC-11, was vigorously increased up to 2-4 times. The additional power required to apply the electric field was 1-2% of the total power consumption by the heater. The increase in overall heat transfer coefficient of evaporators with HCFC -123 was about 40%, suggesting a considerable reduction in evaporator size with EHD technique.

PIV System for the Flow Pattern Anaysis of Artificial Organs ; Applied to the In Vitro Test of Artificial Heart Valves

  • The most serious problems related to the cardiovascular prothesis are thrombosis and hemolysis. It is known that the flow pattern of cardiovascular prostheses is highly correlated with thrombosis and hemolysis. Laser Doppler Anemometry (LDA) is a usual method to get flow pattern, which is difficult to operate and has narrow measure region. Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) can solve these problems. Because the flow speed of valve is too high to catch particles by CCD camera, high-speed camera (Hyspeed : Holland-Photonics) was used. The estimated maximum flow speed was 5m/sec and maximum trackable length is 0.5 cm, so the shutter speed was determined as 1000 frames per sec. Several image processing techniques (blurring, segmentation, morphology, etc) were used for the preprocessing. Particle tracking algorithm and 2-D interpolation technique which were necessary in making gridrized velocity pronto, were applied to this PIV program. By using Single-Pulse Multi-Frame particle tracking algorithm, some problems of PIV can be solved. To eliminate particles which penetrate the sheeted plane and to determine the direction of particle paths are these solving methods. 1-D relaxation fomula is modified to interpolate 2-D field. Parachute artificial heart valve which was developed by Seoul National University and Bjork-Shiely valve was testified. For each valve, different flow pattern, velocity profile, wall shear stress and mean velocity were obtained.

  • 본 논문은 CELL-level에서의 파형이완방법(WRM)에 근거를 두고 있는 Timing Simulator, TSIM-1.0의 전처리과정에 사용한 알고리듬에 대해 기술한다. TSIM1.0의 전처리과정은 크게 세부분으로 나누어진다. (1)주어진 회로를 DCB단위로 분할하고, (2)SCC Group을 형성한 후, (3)CELL들의 해석 순서를 결정한다. 또한 WRM에서 기억용량을 절약하기 위해 중복저장을 허용한 효과적인 파형저장방법을 기술하였다. TSIM1.0은 5000개 이하의 MOSFET으로 구성된 회로를 IBM PC/AT에서 1시간이내에 해석 할 수 있다. 마지막으로, TSIM1.0의 성능 비교를 위해 몇가지 MOS 디지탈회로에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과를 예시한다.

Gray Wolf Optimizer for the Optimal Coordination of Directional Overcurrent Relay

  • The coordination of directional overcurrent relay (DOCR) is employed in this work, considering gray wolf optimizer (GWO), a recently designed optimizer that employs the hunting and leadership attitude of gray wolves for searching a global optimum. In power system protection coordination problem, the objective function to be optimized is the sum of operating time of all the main relays. The coordination of directional overcurrent relays is formulated as a linear programming problem. The proposed optimization technique aims to minimize the time dial settings (TDS) of the relays. The calculation of the Time Dial Setting (TDS) setting of the relays is the core of the coordination study. In this article two case studies of IEEE 6-bus system and IEEE 30-bus system are utilized to see the efficiency of this algorithm and the results had been compared with the other algorithms available in the reference and it was observed that the proposed scheme is quite competent for dealing with such problems. From analyzing the obtained results, it has been found that the GWO approach provides the most globally optimum solution at a faster convergence speed. GWO has achieved a lot of relaxation due to its easy implementation, modesty and robustness. MATLAB computer programming has been applied to see the effectiveness of this algorithm.
