코로나 19 팬데믹 상황에서 보육교사의 감염병 지식, 건강통제소재, 자기효능감과 감염병 예방행위 실천의 관계 (Correlation of Childcare Teachers' Knowledge of Infectious Diseases, Health Locus of Control, Self-Efficacy, and Practice of Disease Prevention during the COVID-19 Pandemic)

  • Objective: This study aims to provide empirical data on epidemic management measures and childcare teacher education in centers. It examines the relationship between infectious disease knowledge, health control knowledge, and self-efficacy in relation to the practice of preventive behaviors among infant and toddler teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: The study involved 300 teachers from Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS 23.0. Results: The study found that there is a positive relationship between childcare teachers' knowledge of infectious diseases and their engagement in preventive behavior. Additionally, internal control among the health care factors of childcare teachers also showed a positive relationship. Furthermore, the study revealed that the self-efficacy of childcare teachers is positively associated with their practice of preventive behavior. Overall, infectious disease knowledge, internal control measures, and self-efficacy were all found to have positive relationships with preventive behavior. Conclusion/Implications: This study proposes a new direction for future teacher education by highlighting the effectiveness of psychological factors, specifically health control materials and self-efficacy, in addition to focusing on improving infectious disease knowledge.

중학교 교사의 의사결정 참여수준과 조직효과성과의 관계 (The Relationship between Teachers' Participation Levels in the Decision Making Process and the Organizational Effectiveness of Middle Schools)

  • This study aims to examine the relationship between teachers' parcitipation levels in the decision making process and the organizational effectiveness in the middle schools. To achieve this objectives, 559 teachers of 18 middle schools in Busan were involved through a questionaire. The results are as follows: First, teachers consider their participation in decision-making to be low. Second, teachers view the effectiveness of school systems higher than average. Third, the correlation between teachers' participation and the system effectiveness (including job satisfaction, organization adaptability and job achievement) was positively high. When teachers' participation levels were divided into 3 groups - low, middle, and high-, the system effectiveness appeared highest with the high- level participation group. These results suggest the need for teacher participation in decision making to enhance the effectiveness of school systems.

교사의 직무스트레스와 소진과의 관계에서 성격과 정서지능의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Personality and Emotional Intelligence on the Relationship between Job Stress and Burnout of Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 교사 직무스트레스와 소진과의 관계에서 성격과 정서지능의 매개효과를 파악하여 교사의 소진을 예방하고, 상담 개입의 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 교사 488명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고, 구조방정식 모형을 사용하여 본 연구의 가설을 검증하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 직무스트레스와 신경증과 소진은 정적상관을 외향성, 성실성, 정서지능은 부적상관이 있었다. 그리고 신경증은 정서지능과 부적, 소진과 정적인 상관을 보였고, 외향성, 개방성, 성실성은 정서지능과 정적, 소진과는 부적인 관계가 있었다. 친화성은 정서지능과 소진과는 관계가 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 직무스트레스와 소진과의 관계에서 정서지능은 부분매개역할을 하고 있었다. 셋째, 직무스트레스와 소진과의 관계에서 신경증, 외향성, 성실성은 부분매개역할을 하였으나 개방성과 친화성은 매개역할을 하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구결과의 상담 실제 및 후속 연구에 대한 시사점을 논하였다.

유아교사의 임파워먼트와 조직효과성과의 관계 - 개인 및 조직특성 중재효과를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Relationship between Teacher Empowerment and Organizational Effectiveness in Early Childhood Educational Institutes : Focused on the Moderating Effects of Personal and Organizational Characteristics)

  • This study was intended to investigate the influence of teacher empowerment on organizational? effectiveness, and the moderating effects of personal and organizational characteristics on the relationship of teacher empowerment and organizational effectiveness in early childhood educational institutes. The subjects in this study were 808 teachers who worked at kindergartens and childcare centers located in all parts of Korea. This study was surveyed with the questionnaires. The results are as follows. Firstly, teacher empowerment had a positive and meaningful influence on all components of organizational effectiveness, such as organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and job performance. Secondly, as for the moderating effects of personal and organizational characteristics on the relationship of teacher empowerment and organizational effectiveness, teachers' educational background had moderating effects on job performance of organizational effectiveness, and married or unmarried status of teachers, teachers' experiences in other institutes, type of institute, and the number of teachers working in an institute had moderating effects on organizational commitment. Also, the number of teachers working in an institute had moderating effects on job satisfaction. However, teachers' period of service in their present institutes didn't have moderating effects between teacher empowerment and organizational effectiveness.

The Effect of Teacher's Business Knowledge Distributions on School's Academic Achievement

  • Purpose: Business education is in high demand whereas knowledge is critical for an individual's professional development in general, and for teachers in particular. In this research, the effect of the distributions of teachers' business knowledge on schools' achievement were investigated. Research design, data and methodology: This study employs a quantitative method to investigate the level of business knowledge distributions of teachers on schools' achievement. 155 business studies subject teachers were categorised into 66 respective schools to measure the correlation and regression between teachers' business knowledge distribution and schools' achievement. Results: The results of the study show that there is a significant relationship between school achievement from the aspect of teachers' business knowledge distributions, with the score of, r = 0.345, p < 0.05. The value of R2 shows a moderate relationship between the teachers' knowledge distributions on school achievement but still plays a role in determining the measurement of the school's level of achievement. Conclusions: It is concluded that the relationship between teacher's business knowledge and school achievement in the subject of Business Studies is significant. This study proves that the teacher's knowledge about business is very important in guaranteeing the success of students who took this subject.

부모의 방임과 학대가 청소년의 정서문제에 미치는 영향: 자아존중감과 교사관계의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Influence of neglect and abuse by parents on the emotional problems of youth: The Mediating Effect of Self-esteem and relationship with teacher)

  • 본 연구는 부모로부터의 학대·방임 경험이 자아존중감과 교사관계, 정서문제 변화량에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보는 동시에 학대·방임경험과 정서문제 변화량의 관계에서 자아존중감과 교사관계가 가지는 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 한국청소년정책연구원의 아동·청소년패널조사(KCYPS) 자료 중 중1 패널의 최근 2개년도 데이터(6차년도, 7차년도)를 분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모로부터 방임 경험은 청소년의 우울, 사회적 위축, 신체 증상 등의 정서문제의 증가와 유의한 관련성이 있으며, 자아존중감과 교사관계와도 유의한 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아존중감과, 교사관계가 학대·방임과 정서문제 변화량의 관계에서 유의한 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학대경험과 교사관계의 상관계수가 정적인 방향으로 유의함에도 불구하고 직접 경로의 회귀계수는 반대 방향으로 유의하여 억제효과가 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 후기 청소년들의 정서문제에 대한 개입 방안과 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구의 필요성을 논의하였다.

어린이집 교사의 직무 스트레스와 효능감이 교사 행동의 질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Teachers' Job Stress and Belief of Efficacy on the Quality of Teachers' Interaction Behaviors in Child Care)

  • Data were collected from 120 teachers at 67 childcare centers in Seoul and Kyunggi-Do. The Assessment Scale for Day Care Programs(Rhee et ai., 2003) was used to observe teachers' interaction behaviors. Subjects responded to the teachers' job stress scale developed by the author and a modified version of teachers' efficacy scale based on the Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument(Enochs & Riggs, 1990). Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations, and hierarchical regressions. Results showed that quality of teachers' interaction behaviors correlated negatively with teachers' job stress, and positively with teachers' personal efficacy; teachers' belief of efficacy moderated the relationship between job stress and teachers' interaction behaviors.

고등학교 교사의 건강지각과 건강증진행위의 관계 (The Relationship Between High School Teachers Health Perception and Health Promotion Behavior)

  • The purposes of this study were to ; first, investigate High School Teachers health promotion behavior types; second, explore the effects High School Teachers perceived benefits and perceived barriers have on their health promotion behavior ; third, suggest a desirable course that will increase teachers health. To this end, this researcher conducted a survey on health promotion behavior, perceived benefits, and perceived barriers to 329 High School teachers working in Goyang-si, Gyonggi-do. The results of the survey are as follows: Health Promotion Behavior A closer look at high school teachers health promotion behavior shows that male teachers, compared with female teachers, more actively promote their health. However, female teachers are more aware of their personal hygiene and disease risks. Older teachers, rather than younger teachers, are more willing to promote their health through better eating habits and more frequent exercise. A comparison between married and single teachers revealed that married teachers promote their health through better eating habits, and single teachers receive less stress and are better at managing their stress. Teachers working in technical high schools are better at managing their stress and personal hygiene than academic high schools teachers. Teachers working after 8 o'clock show better health promotion behavior through proper eating habits, stress management, regular exercise, disease prevention: however, teachers working before 7:30 are poor at managing their stress. Teachers not teaching supplementary lessons and not supervising night self-study are better at managing their stress, exercise schedule, and disease prevention than teachers who are. Perceived Benefits, Perceived Barriers, and Health Promotion Behavior A Comparison between male and female teachers shows that female teachers firmly believe improved eating habits and regular exercises would greatly enhance their health. However, female teachers felt more discomfort in their working environment and in utilizing medical institutes. Teachers in the 20s and 40s perceived health benefits through regular lifestyle and exercise. Teachers with less experience feel more pressure from their work environment. Teachers below their 30s feel more dissatisfaction towards using medical facilities. Teachers working in Technical High Schools are more aware of promoting their health through regular health checkups, exercise, and lifestyle ; however, teachers from Academic High Schools feel more pressure from their work environment. Teachers not performing supplementary lessons and supervising night self-study sessions are more willing to go through regular health checkups than those performing them. Also, teachers with supplementary lessons and night self-study supervisions claimed lack of leisure time, pressure from work environment, and inconvenience in using medical facilities a deterrent to promoting their health behavior. The Relationship between Health Promotion Behavior, Perceived Benefits, and Perceived Barriers The correlation ratio between Health Promotion Behavior and Perceived Benefits shows a positive relationship. The results show that High School teachers believed regular health checkups are necessary in maintaining their health. This research shows that teachers consider the following factors important in the order shown ; regular lifestyle and exercise, prevention of geriatric diseases, improving ones eating habits. In short, teachers who are more aware of the importance of regular health checkups are also more aware of the importance of promoting their health. The correlation ratio between Health Promotion Behavior and Perceived Barriers shows negative relationship. High School Teachers believe that lack of leisure activity, pressure from work environment, familys financial burden, fear of diseases, inconvenience in using medical facilities are a deterrent in promoting their health behavior. In other words, teachers with less leisure time and negative pressures from their work environment were less active in promoting their health behavior. This study shows that High School teachers will be able to promote their health behavior by maintaining regular health checkups, lifestyle, exercise, and preventing geriatric diseases. However, teachers believed that insufficient leisure time and negative pressure from their work environment acted as a deterrent to maintaining their health behavior. Most High School teachers believe they are at present healthy, and they were actively engaged in Preventative Health Promotion. The result of this study demonstrates that External factors have a large impact on teachers, which in turn acts negatively on their Health Promotion Behavior. In order to guarantee teachers health promotion behavior, systematic health checkups and increased leisure time, improvement in their work environment are necessary. Teachers also need to take a more active interest in their health.

중학생의 정서·행동문제가 등교거부성에 미치는 영향 : 부모관계, 교우관계, 교사관계를 매개변인으로 (The Influence Emotional and Behavioral Problems of Middle School Students have on the School Refusal Tendency: Focusing on the Meditator Variables - Relationships with Parents, Peer Groups and Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 G시의 남, 여 중학교에 재학중인 1, 2, 3학년 546명을 대상으로 정서 행동문제, 부모관계, 교우관계, 교사관계가 등교거부성에 미치는 영향과 그 경로를 파악하기 위하여 Pearson 적률상관분석과 LISREL 프로그램을 이용한 경로분석을 실시하였으며, 본 연구에서 나타난 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 정서 행동문제 중 외현화문제와 교사관계변인 중 사회적지지 요인, 교우관계변인 중 신뢰감요인과 부모관계변인 중 부정적지지요인, 교사관계변인 중 사회적지지요인과 부모관계변인 중 부정적지지 요인을 제외한 모든 관계에서 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 정서 행동문제는 등교거부성과 부모관계에 매개효과 없이 각각 매우 높은 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 교우관계와 교사관계에는 통계적으로 유의한 직접적인 영향을 미치지는 않고 간접적인 부적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 교우관계는 등교거부성에 통계적으로 유의한 직접적인 영향을 미치지는 않고 통계적으로 유의한 간접적인 부적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 교사관계는 등교거부성에 통계적으로 유의한 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 부모관계는 등교거부성에는 통계적으로 유의한 직접적인 영향을 미치지 못하고 교우관계와 교사관계를 매개로 간접적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

보육교사의 교사효능감과 교사-유아 상호작용과의 관계 (The Relationship between Teachers' Efficacy Belief and Interactions of Teachers and Children)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 질적 제고를 위한 목적으로 보육시설에서 근무하는 보육 교사들을 대상으로 교사효능감과 교사-유아 상호작용간의 관계를 파악하여, 교사-유아 상호작용에 대한 교사효능감의 중요성을 인식하고 나아가 교사교육의 방향에 중요한 시사점을 제공하고자 하는데 있다. 본 연구대상은 만 3세-5세 유아의 보육을 담당하는 보육교사 205명이다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 교사의 개인적 교수효능감, '긍정적인 교사의 말과 행동,' '또래간 긍정적 상호작용의 격려,' '유아의 부정적 정서수용 및 문제상황개입,' '유아의 자유놀이에 긍정적 참여'는 근무기관유형에 따라서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 개인적 교수효능감은 경력 및 연령과, 일반적 교수효능감 및 교사-유아 상호작용은 연령과 유의한 정적상관이 나타났다. 셋째, 교사-유아 상호작용 영역은 개인적 교수효능감과 유의한 정적상관이 나타났다. 넷째, 경력 및 연령을 통제한 후에도 개인적 교수효능감과 교사-유아 상호작용은 유의한 정적상관이 나타났다.
