Intuitionistic Fuzzy Rough Approximation Operators

  • Since upper and lower approximations could be induced from the rough set structures, rough sets are considered as approximations. The concept of fuzzy rough sets was proposed by replacing crisp binary relations with fuzzy relations by Dubois and Prade. In this paper, we introduce and investigate some properties of intuitionistic fuzzy rough approximation operators and intuitionistic fuzzy relations by means of topology.

  • Various useful relations involving Hammett's and $Br{\phi}nsted's$ coefficients are derived for cross interactions between identical groups: ${\rho}_{ii}={\rho}^N+{\rho}^L$, ${\rho}^L-{\rho}^N=1$, ${\beta}_{ii}={\beta}_N+{\beta}_L$ and ${\beta}_N-{\beta}_L=1$. The use of these relations enable us to correctly interprete the transition state structure. Another advantage of the use of these relations is to use ${\rho}/{\rho}_e$ for the determination of corresponding ${\beta}$ values instead of plotting log k vs $pK_{lg}$, once ${\rho}_e$ values for standardizing equilibria are obtained.

  • In this paper we consider the notion of fuzzy relation as a generalization of that of fuzzy set. For a complete Heyting algebra L. the category set(L) of all L-fuzzy sets is shown to be a bireflective subcategory of the category Rel(L) of all L-fuzzy relations and L-fuzzy relation preserving maps. We investigate categorical structures of subcategories of Rel(L) in view of quasitopos. Among those categories, we include the category L-fuzzy similarity relations with respect to both max-min and max-product compositions, respectively, as a cartesian closed topological category. Moreover, we describe exponential objects explicitly in terms of function space.

Comparing distances obtained from galaxy scaling-relations with the help of group catalogues

  • Galaxy scaling relations, such as the Tully-Fisher relation and the fundamental plane can be used to derive redshift-independent distances. These two scaling-relations are valid for mutually exclusive morphological galaxy types, solid group catalogues are required to compare them within galaxy clusters hosting multiple galaxies. With our investigation, we aim to better understand systematic effects between the scaling rations that may cause potential biases in peculiar motion studies.

  • A class of normalized univalent functions f defined in an open unit disk of the complex plane is introduced and studied such that the values of the quantity zf'(z)/f(z) lies inside the evolute of a nephroid curve. The inclusion relations of the newly defined class with other subclasses of starlike functions and radius problems concerning the second partial sums are investigated. All the obtained results are sharp.

Relations of School Organizational Climate and Teachers' Job Stresses (학교조직풍토와 교사의 직무스트레스의 관계)

  • This study tested the relations of schools organizational climate and teachers' job stresses, perceived by 913 teachers from 45 elementary, junior- and senior-high schools. Pearson's correlation analysis for the relations between the sub-factors of both organizational climate and job stresses and cannonical correlation analysis for the relative contribution of individual variable of organizational climate upon job stress were applied for the test. The results of Pearson's correlation analysis showed that while 'intimacy', 'esprit', 'considerations', and 'production emphasis' climate had negative correlations with job stress sub-factors, 'disengagement' and 'aloofness' climate had positive correlation. 'Student guidance', a sub-factor of job stresses, did not have statistically significant correlation with any sub-factors of organizational climate. Findings from cannonical correlation analysis showed 2 significant cannonical functions to explain the relations between the sets of variables. 'Disengagement' from organizational climate positively contributed with 'authority forfeiture' and 'dissention and conflict' of the job stresses variables.

  • Lower dimensional cases of Einstein's connection were already investigated by many authors for n = 2,3,4,5,6,7. This paper is the first part of the following series of two papers, in which we obtain a surveyable tensorial representation of 8-dimensional Einstein's connection in terms of the unified field tensor, with main emphasis on the derivation of powerful and useful recurrence relations which hold in 8-dimensional Einstein's unified field theory(i.e., 8-g-UFT): I.   • This article deals with the Improvement of Compulsory Arbitration System on Trade Union and Labor Relations Adjustment Act in Korea. If a labor dispute occcur, the settlement of labor dispute must be reached for the parties' own accord. The autonomy of the parties concerned is the fundamental principle in the settlement of labor dispute. If the Rights Which are guaranteed by art. 33 Constitutional Law belong to civil liberties, we should consider Trade Union Act as the restriction of basic rights. Arbitration is a procedure which permits the most positive intervention by the arbitrator. It is carried out by an arbitration committe which is composed of three arbitrators appointed by the chairman of the Labor Relations Commission. Compulsory arbitration system of the labor for parties should be improved. In case of necessary public enterprises, more strict requirements on assembly for labor disputes should be prepared and the government should support institutions to prevent labor-management disputes by educating experts on labor-management relations and improving the quality of arbitration.

Extending the Theory of Intercultural Public Relations: Influence of Power in the Intersection of Cultural Identity, Social Capital and Social Control for Korean American professionals

  • Interviews with 17 Korean American professionals living in Korea revealed the relationship between their status, cultural identities, social capital, and conflicts that arise between their understanding of American and Korean social norms. The findings indicate that social capital for Korean Americans in Korea largely comprises of their English community in Korea and the Seoul Global Center; and that their access to social capital in the Korean society, in general, is limited. As result of limited availability and accessibility of social capital, with a sense of superiority, they maintained their American identity. In terms of social control, their lack of motivation to adopt and follow Korean social norms, as well as them being from the U.S., limited changes occurred in their cultural identity. Extending previous research on the Theory of Intercultural Public Relations, the public's power allows them to maintain their cultural identity, which in turn, effect their communication process. Implications of these findings, as well as suggestions for future study, are discussed.

The Effect of Sociodrama on Children's Loneliness and Peer Relations (사회극이 아동의 외로움과 또래관계에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the effect of sociodrama on children's loneliness and peer relations. Eight children each were assigned to an experimental or a control group. The experimental group enacted sociodrama for six weeks, and the control group did not have any treatment. The first post-test was conducted six weeks after the pre-test; the second post-test was eight weeks after the first post-test. Significant differences between the experimental and control groups were found for loneliness; that is, levels of loneliness and of negative peer relations decreased only in the experimental group. This effect for the experimental group was maintained at the second post-test. It was concluded that sociodrama was effective in reducing loneliness and in improving relationships of a child by improving self-adjustment.
