  • In this paper, we first introduce new classes of Lipschitz algebras of infinitely differentiable functions which are extensions of the standard Lipschitz algebras of infinitely differentiable functions. Then we determine the maximal ideal space of these extended algebras. Finally, we show that if X and K are uniformly regular subsets in the complex plane, then R(X, K) is natural.

  • In 1981, R . Badard introduced the notion of fuzzy pretopological spaces and their representation[1]. And in 1992, R. Badard, et al. introduced the L-fuzzy pretopological spaces and studied properties of continuity, open map, closed map, and homeomorphism in L-fuzzy pretopological spaces. In this paper we introduce and study the concepts of almost continuous functions and weakly pre-continuous functions on L-fpts's.(omitted)

  • We can build regular relationships with customers by integrating SNS (Social Networking Service) and internet shopping mall functions. For example of direct dealing of agricultural products, consumers can find news of regular sellers (seeding, farming, harvesting and new products) in the timeline at their SNS home. Then, they can purchase the necessary products by one click motion. The sellers provide news and discount information for building regular customers. Besides these SNS personal connection building, our system provides shopping mall functions to consumer's SNS home pages with auto classified catalog of products. Then, consumes easily find necessary products and these purchase may lead to regular relationships with sellers. Consumers may redistribute recommendations and reviews and it enables direct communications between consumers who are unknown to each other.

  • Using regular finite elements and infinite elements simultaneously, elastic boundary value problems with infinite domain can be analyzed more effectively and accurately. In this paper, two dimensional infinite elements have been formulated by means of applying the derived mapping function to the coordinates and multiplying the regular displacement shape functions by a decay function. Orders(m, n) of the mapping and decay functions are found for the purpose of obtaining the convergent solutions without respect to the various decay lengthes. As a result of numerical tests for an infinite plate with a hole under internal pressure, two sets of function orders are obtained as follows. (a) n=0, m=1.5 (b) n=m=0.65

  • The motion of a ship advancing in regular waves is analyzed in the time-domain using the convolution integral of the radiation forces. The memory effect functions and infinite frequency added masses are obtained from the solution of the three dimensional improved Green integral equation in the frequency domain by making use of the Fourier transformation. The ship motions in regular waves have been calculated by both the time and frequency domain methods. It has been shown that they agree very well with each other. The present time-domain method can be used to predict the time histories of unsteady motions in irregular waves. It can also be used to calculate the hydrostatic and Froude-Krylov forces over the instantaneous wetted surface of the ship hull to predict large ship motions, in a practical sense, advancing in large amplitude waves.

  • This paper deals with free vibrations of the tapered circular arches with constant volume, whose cross sectional shape is the solid regular polygon. Volumes of the objective arches are always held constant regardless shape functions of the cross-sectional depth. The shape functions are chosen as the linear, parabolic and sinusoidal ones. Ordinary differential equations governing free vibrations of such arches are derived and solved numerically for determining the natural frequencies. In the numerical examples, hinged-hinged, hinged-clamped and clamped-clamped end constraints are considered. As the numerical results, the relationships between non-dimensional frequency parameters and various arch parameters such as rise ratio, section ratio, side number, volume ratio and taper type are reported in tables and figures.

  • B.M. Munshi and D.S. Bassan defined and developed the concept of super continuity in [5]. The concept has been investigated further by I. L. Reilly and M. K. Vamanamurthy in [6] where super continuity is characterized in terms of the semi-regularization topology. Super continuity is related to the concepts of .delta.-continuity and strong .theta.-continuity developed by T. Noiri in [7]. The purpose of this note is to derive relationships between super continuity and other strong continuity conditions and to develop additional properties of super continuous functions. Super continuity implies continuity, but the converse implication is false [5]. Super continuity is strictly between strong .theta.-continuity and .delta.-continuity and strictly between complete continuity and .delta.-continuity. The symbols X and Y will denote topological spaces with no separation axioms assumed unless explicity stated. The closure and interior of a subset U of a space X will be denoted by Cl(U) and Int(U) respectively and U is said to be regular open (resp. regular closed) if U=Int[Cl(U) (resp. U=Cl(Int(U)]. If necessary, a subscript will be added to denote the space in which the closure or interior is taken.

  • We give certain properties of elements in a coset group with hypercomplex numbers and research a monogenic function and a Clifford regular function with values in a coset group by defining differential operators. We give properties of those functions and a power of elements in a coset group with hypercomplex numbers.
