선형의 자동순정 및 모델링 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Automatic Fairing and Modeling System of Hull From)

  • In this paper a new technique of inverse fairing problem for ship hull is proposed. Recently Lu solved the inverse fairing problem for automobile's body that was made by one surface element. In this system however hull surface is constructed by Gregory's composite surface interpolation method. So reflection line at boundary position is used as a tool of solving inverse problem in surface fairing. But the results are not good. The new concepts of Normal vector line and Constrained reflection line are introduced as an alternative tool. Energy minimization method for Normal Vector Line curve net and the inverse method for Constrained Reflection Line by using optimization technique are examined And the final lines from this proposed surface fairing method shows good fairness.

공진수로 내장형 유공방파제의 반사특성에 관한 수치해석 연구 (Numerical Analysis of Reflection Characteristics of Perforated Breakwater with a Resonant Channel)

  • 본 연구에서는 공진을 유도하는 수로를 이용한 새로운 개념의 유공방파제를 제안하려 한다. 공진수로에는 유공판을 설치하여 흐름분리현상에 의한 파랑에너지의 소산을 유도한다. 종래의 수실과 유공벽을 이용한 방파제에 비하여 공진수로 내장형 유공방파제는 두 가지의 장점을 들 수 있는데, 하나는 목표 차단파랑에 따라서 수로의 설계가 용이하며 보다 장주기 파랑에 대하여도 적용이 가능하다. 또 하나는 유공부가 쇄파력이 집중되는 수면부근보다 아래에 위치함으로써 구조적 안정성이 개선된다. 파랑에너지의 소산은 방파제 전면에서의 반사율로서 평가하였고, 수치해석은 선형 포텐셜 이론에 기초한 Galerkin의 유한요소모델을 이용하였다. 수로의 고유주기와 입사파의 주기가 일치하는 부근에서 적절한 에너지 손실을 확인할 수 있었으며 에너지 손실의 양은 수로의 형상, 위치 및 유공율의 영향을 받았다.

유공벽에 의한 파의 반사율 산정에 있어서 경험공식의 타당성 (Validity of Empirical Formulas for Estimation of Reflection Coefficient of Waves Due to Perforated Wall)

  • 여러 가지 두께의 유공벽을 이용하여 다양한 파 조건에 대한 반사율 실험을 실시하고 기존 이론식의 타당성을 검토하였다. 그 결과 유공벽의 두께가 두꺼우면 에너지손실계수가 기존 이론식에 사용된 예연오리피스 공식의 약 62% 정도로 감소하며, 관성저항길이는 벽의 두께가 증가함에 따라 선형적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 관성저항의 길이가 증가할수록 최소반사율을 주는 유수실 폭이 감소한다. 그러므로 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 유공벽 설계시 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The shape of the reflection spectrum is complex and appears to overlap with several signals, because the surface state is uneven due to the natural oxide film, so that the spectrum becomes a complicated signal shape divided into regions 1 and 2 due to diffuse reflection. On the other hand, it is seen that the reflection spectrum after PEO surface treatment is overlapped with several signals. In addition, the reflectance of the energy band varies from 1.32 to 1.46 eV. Usually, the MgO-type oxide film was observed at an energy band of ~4.2 eV. The thickness of the oxide film was increased as the DC voltage was increased by the thin film thickness meter (QuaNix; 7500M) after Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (; PEO) surface treatment. This is because the higher the DC voltage, the easier the binding of the $OH^-$ ions in the solution solution and the $Mg^+$ ions of the magnesium alloy. An important part of the bonding of ordinary ions is the energy source (plasma) which can promote bonding. However, when a certain threshold voltage or more is applied, the material is adversely affected. The oxide film of the surface may be destroyed without increasing the thickness of the oxide film, that is, whitening of the material may occur.

이중진공관형 태양열 집열기의 하절기 과열 방지에 대한 연구 (A study on reducing temperature rise of twin-glass evacuated tube solar collector during summer time)

  • The reflection plate in twin-glass evacuated tube solar collector is controlled to reduce the overheat during the summer time. The sliding type and folding types are suggested and tested. The sliding type changes the plate angle and the folding type changes the opening angle of the reflection plate. By scattering the focus of the reflected radiation from the reflection plate, the temperature rise of the working fluid can be reduced. The sliding type shows the best results in overheat reduction. When solar radiation is 900 $W/m^2$, the temperature rise in one sliding type collector is reduced about $2^{\circ}C$ compared to that of the normal solar collector. When this method is applied to seven series-collectors in the field, the reduction of temperature rise during the summer time should be significant.

  • The present article is aimed at studying the reflection phenomena of plane waves in a homogeneous, orthotropic, initially stressed magneto-thermoelastic rotating medium with diffusion. The enuciation is applied to generalized thermoelasticity based on Lord-Shulman theory. There exist four coupled waves, namely, quasi-longitudinal P-wave (qP), quasi-longitudinal thermal wave (qT), quasi-longitudinal mass diffusive wave (qMD) and quasi-transverse wave (qSV) in the medium. The amplitude and energy ratios for these reflected waves are derived and the numerical computations have been carried out with the help of MATLAB programming. The effects of rotation, initial stress, magnetic and diffusion parameters on the amplitude ratios are depicted graphically. The expressions of energy ratios have also been obtained in explicit form and are shown graphically as functions of angle of incidence. It has been verified that during reflection phenomena, the sum of energy ratios is equal to unity at each angle of incidence. Effect of anisotropy is also depicted on velocities of various reflected waves.

원형 파일 방파제에 의한 반사율과 투과율 (Reflection and Transmission Coefficients by a Circular Pile Breakwater)

  • Bennet 등(1992)이 제안한 수학적 모델을 사용하여 원형 파일 방파제에 의한 반사율과 투과율을 살펴보았다. 파가 파일 방파제를 통과하면서 갑작스런 단면형상의 변화로 박리현상이 발생하며 이로 인하여 파 에너지의 일부분이 소멸된다. 따라서 수학적 모델의 신뢰성을 높이기 위해서는 에너지 손실계수를 정확히 산정하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 FLUENT 상용코드를 사용하여 2차원 난류유동을 해석하고 파일 방파제 전후의 압력차로부터 에너지 손실계수를 구하였다. 에너지 손실계수는 공극률의 함수이며, 둘 사이의 관계식을 제안하였다. 손실계수 산정식의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 수리모형실험결과와 비교하였다. 4가지 공극률에 대하여 반사율과 투과율을 비교한 결과 해석결과와 모형실험결과는 잘 일치하고 있음을 확인하였다.

  • To evaluate rock bolt integrity, destructive test such as pull-out test has been commonly carried out. This method is known as time consuming, expensive, and inaccurate procedure. To improve destructive method, non-destructive techniques using transmitted guided ultrasonic waves were suggested. Note for the transmission method, the source for the generation of ultrasonic waves should be installed during the rock bolt construction. The purpose of this study is to investigate the reflection method using reflected guided ultrasonic waves to evaluate the integrity of the rock bolt grouted, and to compare the results evaluated by the reflection and transmission methods. The guided waves are generated by PZT element and received by AE sensor. The measured signals are analyzed by the wavelet transform. The results show that the energy velocities of guided ultrasonic waves increase with the defect ratio in both transmission and reflection method. The reflection method produces the lower velocity in all defect ratio. This research demonstrates that the reflection method may be suitable and easer method for the field tests.

INTERACTION OF SURFACE WATER WAVES WITH SMALL BOTTOM UNDULATION ON A SEA-BED

  • The problem of interaction of surface water waves by small undulation at the bottom of a laterally unbounded sea is treated on the basis of linear water wave theory for both normal and oblique incidences. Perturbation analysis is employed to obtain the first order corrections to the reflection and transmission coefficients in terms of integrals involving the shape function c(x) representing the bottom undulation. Fourier transform method and residue theorem are applied to obtain these coefficients. As an example, a patch of sinusoidal ripples is considered in both the cases as the shape function. The principal conclusion is that the reflection coefficient is oscillatory in the ratio of twice the surface wave number to the wave number of the ripples. In particular, there is a Bragg resonance between the surface waves and the ripples, which is associated with high reflection of incident wave energy. The theoretical observations are validated computationally.

태양전지의 반사방지막을 위한 Silica 코팅의 트라이볼로지 및 광학적 특성 평가 (Tribological and Optical Characteristics of Silica Coating for Anti-reflection Coating of Solar Cell)

  • The interest in acquiring high efficiency solar cells has been steadily increasing due to various advantages such as low-cost installation, pollution free and everlasting energy generation. In order to raise the cell efficiency, there has been a lot of effort to develop effective anti-reflection coatings. In this work, the main objective was to investigate the effects of particle size and annealing temperature of silica anti-reflection coatings to maximize the cell efficiency as well as reliability. It was shown that the light transmittance could be increased by a few percent over a certain range of wavelength using the silica coating. Also, the tribological properties of the coating could be improved through the annealing process, which led to better reliability of the coating.
