  • For a continuous map f of the circle to itself, we show that if P(f) is closed, then ${\Gamma}(f)$ is closed, and ${\Omega}(f)={\Omega}(f^n)$ for all n > 0.

  • The problem of recursive filtering for discrete market model with unknown parameters is considered. In this paper, we develop an effective filtering algorithm for discrete market systems with unknown parameters and the error covariance equation determining the accuracy of the proposed algorithm is derived.

  • In this paper a novel estimation algorithm of mechanical parameters in two-mass system is proposed. The inertia of a load and a motor and the stiffness are estimated by using RLS (Recursive Least Square) algorithm and acceleration information of motor. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified with simulation and experiments results.

  • By using a recursive algorithm, we construct edge-coloured graphs representing products of spheres and consequently we give upper bounds for the regular genus of ${\mathbb{S}}^{m}\;\times\;{\mathbb{S}}^{n}$, for each m, n > 0.

  • An adaptive pH control is developed to manipulate the nonlinearities and time-varying properties of pH systems. In this research, we estimate two adjustable parameters by using the recursive least squares method and a nonlinear PI controller is used to control pH systems based on the estimated two parameters.

  • In this paper we present initial convergence properties of the Kalman filtering algorithm, we put an arbitrary small positive correlation matrix as an initial condition in the recursive algorithm. This arbitrary small initial condition perturbs the Kalman filtering algorithm and may lead to initial instability. We derive a condition which insures the stable operation of the Kalman filtering algorithm from the stochastic Lyapunov difference equation.

  • In this study, We derived Recursive Least Squares(RLS) algorithm with adaptive maximum -likelihood channel estimate for digital pulse amplitude modulated sequence in the presence of intersymbol interference and additive white Gaussian noise. RLS algorithms have better convergence characteristics than conventional algorithms, LMS Least Mean Squares) algorithms.

  • Reliability of multi-phased mission system is represented where redundant components are repairable. Failures and repairs of components follow Markovian property Under some constraints, 4 models are available. Two models are represented here. The solutions are obtained as recursive equations using Markov model and eigenvalue system.
