Background: The mandibular third molar (M3) is typically the last permanent tooth to erupt because of insufficient space and thick soft tissues covering its surface. Problems such as alveolar bone loss, development of a periodontal pocket, exposure of cementum, gingival recession, and dental caries can be found in the adjacent second molars (M2) following M3 extraction. The specific aims of the study were to assess the amount and rate of bone regeneration on the distal surface of M2 and to evaluate the aspects of bone regeneration in terms of varying degree of impaction. Methods: Four series of panoramic radiographic images were obtained from the selected cases, including images from the first visit, immediately after extraction, 6 weeks, and 6 months after extraction. ImageJ software® (NIH, USA) was used to measure linear distance from the region of interest to the distal root of the adjacent M2. Radiographic infrabony defect (RID) values were calculated from the measured radiographic bone height and cementoenamel junction with distortion compensation. Repeated measures of analysis of variance and one-way analysis of variance were conducted to analyze the statistical significant difference between RID and time, and a Spearman correlation test was conducted to assess the relationship between Pederson's difficulty index (DI) and RID. Results: A large RID (> 6 mm) can be reduced gradually and consistently over time. More than half of the samples recovered nearly to their normal healthy condition (RID ≤ 3 mm) by the 6-month follow-up. DI affected the first 6 weeks of post-extraction period and only showed a significant positive correlation with respect to the difference between baseline and final RID. Conclusions: Additional treatments on M2 for a minimum of 6 months after an M3 extraction could be recommended. Although DI may affect bone regeneration during the early healing period, further study is required to elucidate any possible factors associated with the healing process. The DI does not cause any long-term adverse effects on bone regeneration after surgical extraction.

Modern organizations, both complicated and complex, operate in an economic climate of· turbulence and rapid change. And Today's healthcare environment is changing, driven by demographic, environmental. social, political and technological forces. In actual practice, the organization usually depend on several factors such as economic state of organization, managerial strategies, a synthesis of several theories that reflect individual biases, specific circumstances, and practical realities. These rapidly changing healthcare environment and professional nursing practice need a strategy for the organizational development and goal attainment. An understanding of organizational culture could help managers enhance or expand their management strategy, thus increasing the probability of their success in the organization. Organizational culture is an abstract, yet potent managerial concept. With roots in several disciplines, several perspectives and definitions of organizational culture have emerged. The concept of organizational culture has been rapidly introduced into the academic and organizational world, with the much attention to the excellent companies that have continued rapid grow th despite the overall world economic recession in the late of 1970s. Organizational culture is the combination of the symbols, language, assumptions, and behaviors that overtly manifest an organization's norm and values. It is the taken-for-granted and shared meanings people assign to their social surroundings that can have a profound effect on an organizaitonal decision making and performance. For attaining a organizational goal and developing organization, it is necessary to put emphasis on developing organizational culture. It has to set organizational culture well understood by its members as an instrument to achieve the organizational goals. Both Manager and staff can focus and act on the values identified. Also, managers will exhibit better decision making capabilities because they are guided by perception of the organizational values. Therefore, understanding of organizational culture could give a strategy for organizational development that assist hiring personnel, orienting new comers, facilitating organizational change and promoting learning and so on. But their is few study on nursing organizational culture in Korea. Moreover they have not had a clear definition of Korean nursing organizational culture. Therefore, it is necessary to lay down definition of Korean nursing organizational culture and fine out real factor of Korean nursing culture. For defining a definition of Korean nursing organizational culture, this study assessed several definitions of organizational culture, factors of culture, types of culture, and functions of culture through book review.
This paper explores the relationship between shipping firm's investment and debt-ratio characteristics. Using a panel of 41 shipping firms from 2006 to 2011, this study finds evidence that debt/asset ratio and leverage are negatively associated with firm's investment activities. This relationship shows that volume of debt and capital structure are critical decision factor on firm's investment and capital financing. In terms of financial expenses to sales, positive relationship is existed with firm's investment finding that financing cost is important to investment. The previous study of the firm's investment in other sector also shows a negative relationship with debit ratio. This study is also interested in the extent to which the firm's investment is affected by firm size because there is general agreement that smaller firms have less access to external capital markets. As results, smaller companies group have more positive relationship with factors related to financing cost such as financial expenses to sales and tax. On the other hand, bigger companies group shows the evidence that firm investment is positive relationship with asset size. The analysis corresponding to economic fluctuation shows that debit ratio is more sensitive to firm's investment during a recession. On the other hand, financial expenses to sales is more related to firm's investment during an economic boom.
The purpose of this study is to examine the determinants of the number of bank relationships in Korea. Firm-specific determinants considered here include leverage, size, age, return on asset, investment grade, tangibility, liquidity, R&D expenditure. We estimate the effects of these variables, and compare the results with those from previous studies performed for other economies. Concerning the effects of business cycle, we find that the business cycle is an important factor in determining the number of bank relationships. The number of bank relationships varies over the business cycle, and we notice a counter-cyclical behavior, which means the number decreases during economic expansions and increases during contractions. This result can be interpreted as a result of firms' diversification of borrowings into multiple banks in order to reduce the liquidity risk during the recession. In the subsets, however, the number of bank relationships for large firms is stable regardless of the business cycle. Unlisted firms, non-chaebol, and low credit quality firms which have relatively limited access to alternative sources of financing show counter-cyclical behavior. Finally, such phenomena is not observed in the non-competitive credit market, while they show a counter-cyclical behavior in the competitive credit market.
With a relatively simple quantitative method, this study comprehensively analyzes the characteristics related to business cycles represented by macroeconomic variables of Korea since 1970. This empirical analysis deals with roughly following three topics: How to identify cyclical component with respect to trend; with what characteristics and how the economic variables of each sector move with in the phases of business cycle, and; whether there are signs of a structural change in the phases of business cycle. Section 2 discusses how to identify trends and cycle components, the basis assumption for the analysis of business cycle. Like the Korean economy, where a relatively high growth rate has been maintained, it is appropriate to determine its economic recession based on the fall in the growth trend, not in the absolute level of real output. And, it is necessary to apply the concept of growth cycle against a traditional concept of business cycle. Accordingly the setting of growth trend is of preliminary importance in identifying cyclical fluctuations. The analysis of Korea's GDP data since 1970, the decomposition of trends and cycles through the Band-pass filter is found to appropriately identify the actual phases of busyness cycle. Section 3 analyzes what particular relationship various economic variables have with output fluctuations during the phases of economic cycle, using the corss-correlation coefficients and prediction contribution. Section 4 monitors the stability of the phases of Korea's business cycle and quantitatively verifies whether there is a structural break, and then reviews the characteristics of variations in each sector. And, stylized facts observed through these studies are summarized in the conclusion. The macroeconomic stability of Korea, in particular, is found to continue to improve since 1970, except for the financial crisis period. Not only that, it is found that its volatility of economic growth rate as well as inflation have been reduced gradually. Meanwhile, until recently since 2000, the volatility in domestic demand has remained stable, while that in exports and imports has been increased slightly. But, in an over all perspective, Korea's business cycle variation is on the decline due to shorter response period to shocks and the formation of complementary relationship among economic sectors.

In the midst of continuing international recession, the rate of maritime traffic and marine leisure markets are consistently growing. The Republic of Korea controls the marine traffic volume through vessel traffic centers and various other management facilities. Nevertheless, the continuous growth and complexity of marine traffic is resulting in repeated occurrences of marine accidents. Recovery is very difficult in cases of human injuries or deaths caused by marine accidents due to its nature, and the scale of marine accidents is also becoming greater with advanced ship building technologies. Passenger ships, oil tankers, and other such vessels used for specific purposes requires a more detailed navigational status surveillance and analysis, and numerous research has been conducted with an objective for monitoring such special purpose vessels. However, the data elements transmitted from the ocean to the shore station are limited to AIS and ARPA. We are implementing IoT ship sensor collection and a syncing system capable of transmitting various ship sensing data to the shore station, and also proposing a Safe Navigation Status Analysis System utilizing the collected data.
World trade has entered a stagnant state, protection trade measures are spread due to delayed economic recovery in developed countries, sluggish investment in emerging economies such as China, economic recession in resource exporting countries, and geopolitical and political uncertainties along with the election period in the US and other major industrialized countries. Thus, in the economic structure of our country with a focus on export, for small and medium enterprises to grow, efforts for having various markets are necessary. The importance of the trade insurance system, which can support the risk management of enterprises, is emphasized by the fact that the majority of SME exporters have a risk management level and a lack of corporate capacity to enter the global market. This study was surveyed with 87 small and medium export companies in South Korea. The purpose of this study is to verify the effect relationship how service quality of trade insurance and utilization of trade insurance impact on the risk management of trade payment and export performance. The research hypothesis and model was derived from the basis of existing theory and empirical research, and obtained the following results. Firstly, Service Quality of Trade Insurance showed positive (+) effect on Export Performance. Secondly, Utilization of Trade Insurance showed positive (+) effect on Risk Management of Trade Payment. Thirdly, Risk Management of Trade Payment showed positive (+) effect on Export Performance. This study is differentiated from previous research information by empirically evaluating the relationship between the risk management of trade payment and export performance through utilization of trade insurance. This study contributed to academic by examining the research on the risk management of trade insurance and also practically suggested the direction how small and medium export company is to take the advantage of the trade insurance.
Complete denture prosthodontics includes replacement of natural teeth and associated maxillary and mandibular structures for full edentulous patients. The final objectives of prosthodontic treatment include esthetic and functional rehabilitation. Because the esthetic demand of senior patients has increased esthetic requirement should not be overlooked in denture treatment. In complete denture treatment, attempts have been made to reproduce tooth wear, arrangement, recession of cervical gingiva, staining, improved gingival shade and so on. This 61 year old female patient came to the Department of Prosthodontics with the chief complaint that dentures made 5 years ago in a local clinic were broken and did not fit well. The patient put more emphasis on fabrication of natural and esthetic dentures than recovery of masticatory function. Remake of maxillary complete denture and mandibular implant retained overdenture was planned. In order to create esthetic and natural contour, Aesthetic Color Set Easy system$^{(R)}$ (Candulor dental GmbH, Wangen, Germany) was used to make complete dentures reproducing various gingival shades. Patient's esthetic satisfaction was high. When complete denture prosthodontics treatment involves appropriate expression of individual characteristics in addition to proper selection of esthetic materials, treatment will give satisfaction to both dentist and patient.

Recently, global economic recession has a significant influence on promoting launch of start-ups around the world. As is often the case, powerful and bright entrepreneurship is required so that the start-ups may be successful in their target markets. Despite the fact that numerous studies about impact of the entrepreneurship on start-ups exist in literature, there is no study attempting to recognize importance of social learning about entrepreneurship on individual creativity of those who have intentions to become entrepreneurs of start-ups. In this sense, this study proposes a new research model in which social learning about entrepreneurship is assumed to have an influence on individual creativity of start-ups candidates. For the sake of proving the proposed research model more rigorously, we include those constructs such as para-social interaction, imitation of role model, and internal motivation. We garnered 89 valid questionnaires from college students who were invited to the experiments designed for this study. Results proved that para-social interaction and imitation of role model affect internal motivation significantly, which in turn affects individual creativity positively. These results also provide theoretical directions revealing the embedding process of entrepreneurial capital among society.
