제주도 현무암의 공학적 특성 분석 (Analysis of Engineering Properties to Basalt in Cheju island)

  • 본 연구에서는 제주도 현무암에 대한 공학적 특성을 조사하기 위하여 서귀포시 성산읍 일대의 표선리 현무암, 조면암질 현무암 및 스코리아 시료를 채취하였으며, 채취된 시료를 대상으로 흡수율시험, 비중시험, 암반투수시험, 슈미트해머시험, 탄성파시험 및 일축압축시험을 시험을 실시하였다. 이들 시험결과를 토대로 표선리 현무암, 조면암질 현무암 및 스코리아의 흡수율, 비중, 투수계수, 탄성파속도, 일축압축강도를 조사 및 분석하였다. 특히, 슈미트해머 반발치와 일축압축시험으로 구한 일축압축강도의 관계를 회귀분석을 통하여 슈미트해머 반발치를 이용한 일축압축강도 산정식을 제안하였으며, 이를 통하여 간편하게 일축압축강도를 산정할 수 있는 방법을 마련하였다.

  • The Schmidt hammer test is one of the best nondestructive tests to measure the strength without breaking structures, which has been used to measure the strength of concrete structures in a simple way at construction sites. However, the future research is needed to apply Schmidt hammer in cold regions. This study is intended to investigate the correlation between unconfined compression test result of the oil storage facilities foundation taken at the King Sejong Antarctic Station and Schmidt hammer test result at the sample-taking site. Also, the equation for uniaxial compression strength using Schmidt hammer rebound value is proposed.

  • This study concerns the equation of high strength concrete by schmidt hammer test. There are not only few prediction strength equations of concrete by schmidt hammer test, but also many problems to apply them because of time, cost, easiness, structural damage, reliability and so on.   • This study concerns the. new equation of concrete strength by schmidt hammer test. There are not only few estimate strength equations of concrete by schmidt hammer test, but also many problems to apply them because of time, cost, easiness, structural damage, reliability and so on. For this study, there performed a series of schmidt hammer test with in existing 730days' concrete structures and proposed equations as follows; $$Linear\;:\;f_{ck}=2.18R-40.54\;(r^2=77.7\%)$$ $$Quadratic\;:\;f_{ck}=0.076R^2-2.92R+40.04\;(R^2= 85.5\%)$$ here, fck : Estimated compressive strength of concrete by MPa, R : Rebound index of concrete.

RC 및 PSC 콘크리트에서 반발도 및 초음파 속도의 변화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Statistical Distribution of Rebound Number and Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity in RC and PSC Concrete Structures)

  • The rebound hammer test and the measurement of ultrasonic pulse velocity(UPV) have been widely used for the physical properties & condition evaluation of reinforced & prestressed concrete structures for a long time, but the acoustoelastic effects by the prestressing in the prestressed concrete structures on the rebound number and ultrasonic pulse velocity have not been studied clearly. Therefore, this study investigated the data distribution of the rebound numbers and ultrasonic pulse velocities in reinforced and prestressed concrete slabs of $3000{\times}3000mm$ with a thickness of 250 mm. Also, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov goodness-of-fit test was done in order to identify statistical consistency and reliability. The statistical analysis results show that the rebound number and ultrasonic pulse velocities increased about 1.9% and 2.5%, respectively when prestressing was applied. As expected, the UPV shows better statistical reliability and potential for in situ evaluation than the RB because the RB are more sensitive to testing posture, surface condition, temperature and humidity so on. The experimental data in this study can be used for the condition assessment of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures by the rebound number and ultrasonic pulse velocity.

  • In this study, the availability of Schmidt hammer has been investigated as a reliable method to determine the quality of concrete in irrigation networks. For this purpose, the 28-day compressive strength of concrete material used in the construction irrigation channel of Bafra lowland, which is one of the most fertile plains in Turkey was examined by means of concrete compression and as well as concrete Schmidt hammer in laboratory conditions. This study was carried out on cylindrical samples to represent the everyday concrete party ($150m^3$) produced by contractor firm as 3 replications. The statistical analysis of experimental data showed that the correlations between the values of 28-day compressive strength of Schmidt hammer and the rebound number was found to be 0.98. Differences of the compressive strength between compression testing and Schmidt hammer were statistically significant at P<0.01. In this context, it was found that the reliability of compressive strength of the concrete compression test are excellent, also the reliability of compressive strength of Schmidt hammer are fair in assessing the quality of concrete irrigation channels.

  • 현재 대부분 사용되고 있는 반발경도법을 이용한 강도 추정식을 서울의 대표적인 지하구조물에 적용할 경우 준공년도에 따른 재령계수의 적용이 부적합한 것으로 판단됨에 따라 본 연구에서는 최근 8년간 수행된 서울지하철 정밀안전진단결과를 이용하여 코어의 일축압축강도와 동일위치에서 실시된 반발경도 시험결과와의 상관관계에 준공년도를 고려하여 공용중인 박스 및 터널구조물에 대한 합리적인 강도평가 추정식을 제시하였다.

  • The objective of this study is to compare compressive strength and rebound number of Schmidt hammer of concrete using basalt aggregate to that using granite aggregate. And is to provide the reference data on the standardization of nondestructive test of concrete. According to test results, compressive strength of concrete using basalt aggregate is highly estimated under the same rebound number compared to that using granite aggregate about 5~15%. It is urgently that newly suggested estimation formula of compressive strength using basalt aggregate must be prescribed because estimation formula of compressive strength of concrete using basalt aggregates overestimates the strength compared to that using granite aggregate.

  • This is an foundational study to adequacy the non-destruction testing for the estimation of compressive strength of high strength concrete The results are as follows, In high strength concrete, H type is NR type rebound number rather than higher. The relation between rebound number and compressive strength of high strength concrete have lower coefficient. when compressive strength estimation of high strength concrete, it consider that rebound hardness test is not applied and should be consider to combined method or addition method.

  • 본 논문은 암반용 압축강도테스트 해머를 이용하여 초고강도 콘크리트 모의부재 압축강도 실험을 통한 강도추정에 대해서 검토하고자 하였다. 실험결과에 따르면, 본 실험 데이터값을 토대로 기존에 주로 사용되던 강도 추정식을 적용할 경우 각 식마다 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 압축강도 30MPa 이상으로 갈수록 실측 데이터를 과소평가하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 모든 강도 영역에서 실측치의 분포범위를 크게 벗어나고 있는 것으로 나타났다. W/B 종류별 타격방향 및 굵은 골재 유무와 상관없이 암반용 테스트 해머가 N형 슈미트 해머보다 높은 상관관계를 나타내었으며, 모르타르가 콘크리트보다 좀 더 높은 상관관계를 나타내었다. 그리고 굵은 골재 유 무에 따른 모의부재 반발도 측정결과 모르타르(2.26%/1.36)의 변동계수와 표준편차가 콘크리트(4.06%/2.5)보다 낮게 나타났으며, 굵은 골재의 치수가 작을수록 변동계수가 작아져 보다 정확한 값을 나타내는 것을 알 수 있다.
