In this paper, we present a frequency reassignment problem (FRP) that arises when we install new base stations or reconfigure radio networks to increase the capacity or to expand service area. For this problem, we develop an integer programming (IP) model, and develop cutting planes to enhance the mathematical representation of the model. Also, we devise an effective tabu search algorithm to obtain tight upper bounds within reasonable time bounds. Computational results exhibit that the developed cutting planes are effective for reducing the computing time as well as for increasing lower bounds. Also, the proposed tabu search algorithm finds a feasible solution of good quality within reasonable time bound.

It is believed that surgery on human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-positive patients is dangerous and should be avoided due to the possibility of postoperative infection of the patients or HIV occupational transmission to the medical staff. We discuss here the preparations and measures needed to conduct surgery safely on HIV-positive patients, based on our experience. We performed sex reassignment surgery on two HIV-positive patients from January 2013 to January 2015. Both of them were receiving highly active antiretroviral therapy and were asymptomatic, with a normal CD4 count ($>500cells/{\mu}L$). The HIV-RNA was undetectable within the bloodstream. All the staff wore protective clothing, glasses, and three pairs of protective gloves in the operating room because of the possibility of transmission. Prophylactic antibiotics were administered to the patients, and antiviral therapy was performed during their perioperative course. Neither of the patients had postoperative complications, and none of the medical staff experienced accidental exposure. Both patients had satisfactory surgery outcomes without complications. HIV-positive patients can undergo surgery safely without increased risk of postoperative complications or HIV transmission to the staff through the proper use of antibiotics, active antiretroviral therapy, and supplemental protective measures with post-exposure prophylaxis for the staff in case of HIV exposure.

홈 네트워크에서 다양한 응용(application) 트래픽(traffic) 간의 차등화 된 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 트래픽 변화에 따라 적응적으로 우선순위(priority)를 재할당하는 알고리즘을 제안하고, FPGA를 이용하여 구현하였다. 제안된 구조는 QoS를 위한 부가적인 시그널링 프로토콜이 없이도 네트워크 트래픽 조절이 가능하도록 설계되었고, 또한 홈 네트워크 트래픽을 그 특징에 따라 제어 데이터 트래픽, 일반 인터넷이나 데이터 트래픽, 그리고 멀티미디어 데이터 트래픽으로 분류하고 이를 네트워크 트래픽 상황에 적응적으로 차등화 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제시한 알고리즘의 성능을 검증하고 FPGA구현을 통하여 실현가능성을 제시하였다.

컨테이너 화물의 물동량이 증가함에 따라 공컨테이너의 처리 요구량도 함께 증가하여 왔으며 이에 따른 공컨테이너의 재배치 문제에 관한 연구가 꾸준히 이루어져 왔다. 하지만 컨테이너화물의 처리가 공컨테이너의 처리와 함께 이루어지지는 않는다. 더욱이 우리나라 같이 ICD(Inland Container Depot)와 ODCY(Off-Dock Container Yard) 와 같은 내륙 거점이 많은 환경에서는 그 거점에서 필요로 하는 공컨테이너의 수요에 따른 재배치 연구가 필요하나 이와 같은 연구는 많이 이루어지지는 않았다. 이 논문에서는 컨테이너 터미널과 ICD, ODCY와 같은 거점에서 필요로 하는 공컨테이너의 수요량에 따른 합리적인 재배치 모형을 수립하고 분석하도록 한다. 또한 과거와 동일하게 시행되고 있는 현재의 재배치 방식을 개선하여 비용 절감 효과를 높이는데 도움이 되도록 한다.

In this paper a robust control law is presented which stabilezes overall system via pole reassignment and loop-shaping. A robust adaptive controller is designed combining this robust control law and a robust estimator.

In this paper, a damaged example of hanging guide frame used in the lifting of shore protection caisson was investigated. An examination of the stress and stability of members was carried out by structural analysis and the causes of damages was investigated. The stability analysis considering local and global stress buckling was performed. As a result of stability analysis. the first structure was unstable structure. Therefore improved structure was examined and the best effective methodology was the reassignment of wire.

This study develops the pay satisfaction questionnaire for Korean employees. Based upon the review of previous studies, 16 questionnaire items are developed. Exploratory factor analysis results in a modified measurement through item deletion, item-to-dimension reassignment, and dimension combination. The measurement model was good fit assessed by overall fit measures(GFI; goodness of fit index, AGFI; adjusted goodness of fit index, RMR; root mean square residual) criteria, lambda score, and squared multiple correlation with confirmatory factor analysis. Implication of this work for future theoretical and empirical development are suggested.

Following the taxonomic reassignment of Schizopora and some Hyphodontia species into Xylodon, we confirmed nine Korean species of Xylodon in a previous study. In the present study, we propose Korean names for these Xylodon species according to the Principles of the Mycological Terminology Review Committee of The Korean Society of Mycology.
