Stirrup Stress in Reinforced Concrete Beams (철근콘크리트 보의 스터럽응력)

  • There is still a lack of knowledge and modelling relating to shear behaviour in reinforced concrete beams. The reason is that shear loading leads to complicated physical mecanisms, such as interlock action, dowel action, etc. Therefore, It is difficult that we make the ideal model of shear behaviour, while Truss model theory has been made good use of shear design because of simplicity and reasonableness. In this study, 6 T-type reinforced concrete beams were designed and made based on the two truss models, i.e, the plasticity truss model and the compatibility truss model, to observe shear strength of concrete and stress distribution of stirrups. 6 beams test pieces were tested with the following testing parameters. 1) specified concrete strength ; 270kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$, 400kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ 2) with and without the steel fiber.

  • On a conceptual point of SCM, as a order of development, physical distribution, logistics management, basic supply chain management and advanced supply chain management etc. they are magnifying gradually, confusing with information and analysis techniques which seems possible. But on executing, it has a lot of problems because it is so complex and wide, so the enterprise which knows necessity of SCM, they don't have a total execution solution. On this paper, we will focus a proposal of alternatives with reasonableness of manufacturing and making a profit of sales department like most of enterprises to overcome carelessness and unready strategy of investment. And we will find a element through a analysis of cases, a statistical method of effective SCM, and actual survey to propose a alternative proposal. And, we will prove the facts that it could be a guiding company which has a ability of cooperation with entities through the founding of supply chain.

  • This paper proposes the robot inverse calibration method using a neural networks. A highorder networks called Pi-Sigma networks has been used. The Pi-Sigma networks uses linear summing units in the hidden layer and product unit in output layer. The inverse calibration model which compensates the difference of joint variables only between measuring value and analytic value about the desired pose(position, orientation) of a robot is proposed. The compensated values are determined by using the weights obtained from the learning process of the neural networks previously. To prove the reasonableness, the SCARA type direct drive robot(4-DOF) and anthropomorphic robot(6-DOF) are simulated. It shows that the proposed calibration method can reduce the errors of the joint variables from $\pm$2$^{\circ}$to $\pm$ 0.1$^{\circ}$.

  • Application of aluminum alloy has been increasing for most of industry area because aluminum has a good mechanical properties and castability, especially automotive field for weight reduction. But, Furnace industry is sluggish. The purpose of this study is numerical analysis of aluminum holding furnace for reasonableness estimation when we design for new model of furnace. The numerical simulation involving fluid flow of inside air and heat transfer to fireproof material is presented in order to improve the understanding of aluminum furnace. First of all, we are carried out numerically for the two dimensional inside convection and surface radiation heat transfer in a square enclosure.   • The objective of this study is to evaluate design parameters of free water surface constructed wetland for the reduction of agricultural nonpoint source pollution. From literature review, the key design parameters were selected as influent concentration, influent water volume, hydraulic retention time and wetland system arrangement. The design value for each parameter was established after pilot study. Full-scale constructed wetland on the basis of the designed values was constructed to evaluate those reasonableness. The results of this study showed that the designed values for free water surface constructed wetland were appropriate for the reduction of agricultural nonpoint source pollution.

  • The turnout system is typical railway facility to be in the way of conventional railway line's speed-up. The KNR(Korean National Railroad) has a speed limit regulation (130km/h) for the passing the turnout to guarantee a safety. This research had been performed to confirm the propriety of this regulation by using experimental and analytical way before it was carried out. The reasonableness of the speed-limit regulation was judged base on the several experiments. It was proved that the regulation was not useless as it had been regarded and very important guide at least up to now.

  • In this paper, we propose an electric circuit using one common-arm of H-Bridge inverters to reduce the number of switching components in the multi-level inverter combined with H-Bridge inverters and transformers. And furthermore, we suggested a new multi-level PWM inverter using PWM level to reduce THD (Total Harmonic Distortion). We use a phase-shift switching method that has the same rate of usage at each transformer. Also, we test the proposed prototype 9-level inverter to clarify the proposed electric circuit and reasonableness of the control signal for the proposed multi-level PWM inverter.
