  • The U-shaped composite beam used in this study consist of a reinforced concrete structure, a beam steel structure supporting the slab, a reinforced concrete structure, and a U-shaped steel plate. The U-shaped composite beam was developed for the purpose of using it as a parking lot because it is highly constructible and has low floor height and long span. For the improvement of constructivity, the U-shaped composite beam ends are planned with standardized H-shaped steel and connected directly to the columns, and the middle of the U-shaped composite beam consists of U-shaped steel plates folded in U-shaped form using thin steel plates (t=6) instead of H-shaped steel. In the middle of the composite beam, where U-shaped steel plates are located, the depth of U-shaped beam may be planned to be small so as to satisfy the height limit of the parking lot. It is important to grasp the structural performance according to the change of depth because low beam depth is advantageous for the reduction of the floor height, but it is a inhibitor to the structural behaviors of U-shaped composite beam. In addition, since U-shaped composite beams are a mixture of steel frame structures, reinforced concrete structures and U-shaped steel plates, securing unity has a great influence on securing structural performance. Therefore, in this study, a structural experiment was conducted to understand the structural performance according to the depth change for U-shaped composite beam. A total of three specimens were planned, including two specimens that changed the depth using a criteria specimen planned for a general parking lot. The results of the experiment showed that the specimens who planned the depth greatly had better structural performance such as yield strength, maximum strength, and energy than the standard specimen.

Since the public bicycle systems in large cities need to secure both publicity and convenience for citizens, analysis of various their issues from introduction to operation is required. In addition, it is also necessary to prepare for various scenarios for coexistence with the PM business, which is recently in the spotlight as a last mile means and normally managed privately. This paper introduces modeling and simulation for efficient operations of public bicycle systems. In particular, the proposed method was developed in a form that can be easily used in other cities by modeling the general structure and behavior of the public bicycle system, and it was developed to facilitate modification and expansion of the future model with a component-based model configuration. This paper provides a case study of the propose method, which is the public bicycle simulation in Sejong City. The simulation results were derived by applying the data from the public bicycle system of Sejong City, and they were verified with the associated real data of Sejong City. Using the verified model, it is expected that it can be used as a tool to design and analyze various services on the public bicycle systems, which were especially suitable for Sejong City.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, public libraries need a strategy for promoting intelligent library services in order to actively respond to changes in the external environment such as artificial intelligence. Therefore, in this study, based on the concept of artificial intelligence and analysis of domestic and foreign artificial intelligence related trends, policies, and cases, we proposed the future direction of introduction and development of artificial intelligence services in the library. Currently, the library operates a reference information service that automatically provides answers through the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies such as deep learning and natural language processing, and develops a big data-based AI book recommendation and automatic book inspection system to increase business utilization and provide customized services for users. Has been provided. In the field of companies and industries, regardless of domestic and overseas, we are developing and servicing technologies based on autonomous driving using artificial intelligence, personal customization, etc., and providing optimal results by self-learning information using deep learning. It is developed in the form of an equation. Accordingly, in the future, libraries will utilize artificial intelligence to recommend personalized books based on the user's usage records, recommend reading and culture programs, and introduce real-time delivery services through transport methods such as autonomous drones and cars in the case of book delivery service. • Since the publication of Markowitz's (1952) mean-variance portfolio model, research on portfolio optimization has been conducted in many fields. The existing mean-variance portfolio model forms a nonlinear convex problem. Applying Dantzig's linear programming method, it was converted to a linear form, which can effectively reduce the algorithm computation time. In this paper, we proposed a Dantzig perturbation portfolio model that can reduce management costs and transaction costs by constructing a portfolio with stable and small (sparse) assets. The average return and risk were adjusted according to the purpose by applying a perturbation method in which a certain part is invested in the existing benchmark and the rest is invested in the assets proposed as a portfolio optimization model. For a covariance estimation, we proposed a Gaussian kernel weight covariance that considers time-dependent weights by reflecting time-series data characteristics. The performance of the proposed model was evaluated by comparing it with the benchmark portfolio with 5 real data sets. Empirical results show that the proposed portfolios provide higher expected returns or lower risks than the benchmark. Further, sparse and stable asset selection was obtained in the proposed portfolios.

  • Daily PM2.5 was collected during summer period in 2020 in Gwangju to investigate its chemical and light absorption properties. In addition, real-time light absorption coefficients were observed using a dual-spot 7-wavelength aethalometer. During the study period, SO42- was the most important contributor to PM2.5, accounting for on average 33% (10-64%) of PM2.5. The chemical form of SO42- was appeared to be combination of 70% (NH4)2SO4 and 30% NH4HSO4. Concentration-weighted trajectory (CWT) analysis indicated that SO42- particles were dominated by local pollution, rather than regional transport from China. A combination of aethalometer-based and water-extracted brown carbon (BrC) absorption indicated that light absorption of BrC due to aerosol particles was 1.6 times higher than that due to water-soluble BrC, but the opposite result was found in absorption Ångström exponent (AAE) values. Lower AAE value by aerosol BrC particles was due to the light absorption of aerosol BrC by both water-soluble and insoluble organic aerosols. The BrC light absorption was also influenced by both primary sources (e.g., traffic and biomass burning emissions) and secondary organic aerosol formation. Finally the ATR-FTIR analysis confirmed the presence of NH4+, C-H groups, SO42-, and HSO42-. The presence of HSO42- supports the result of the estimated composition ratio of inorganic sulfate ((NH4)2SO4) and bisulfate (NH4HSO4).

  • In a situation where the company handles accounting conservatively, the management's earnings forecasting information will be more conservative, and the conservativeness of this earnings forecasting information will have a differential effect in evaluating the performance of managers and paying compensation. This study aims to examine how the level of corporate accounting conservatism affects the forecast information of managers and how this affects the compensation of managers. This study establishes a hypothesis on the effect of the level of accounting conservatism on the earnings forecasting information and compensation of managers, and examines the relationship between managerial profit forecasting information & manager compensation according of conservatism in corporate accounting that can vary depending on the manager's disposition. As a result of the analysis, conservative managers are also conservative in earnings forecasting disclosure, and when corporate managers are highly conservative, they show their ability by making earnings forecasts disclosures more frequently and more accurately than corporate managers with low conservatism. It will help reduce the forecasting errors of stakeholders. Therefore, it is expected that this will play an important role in judging the manager's ability and determining compensation. Therefore, when a company handles accounting conservatively, management's earnings forecasts are also measured conservatively, which is expected to provide useful information on the basis and form of management's compensation to stakeholders.

  • With the science curriculum about to be revised in 2022, this study aimed to guide curriculum revision by addressing suggested approaches to the electromagnetism education in elementary school science curriculum. The core concepts of electromagnetism are "electric field" and "magnetic field" as a medium of force, but the current curriculum does not properly describe the core concepts of electromagnetism. Mechanics and electromagnetism should be linked in elementary schools to form science curriculum based on core concepts to solve this problem. Additionally, the nine aspects of technology extracted in this study offer various educational contexts to match the development of engineering technology based on electromagnetism. However, the current curriculum does not comprise these various contexts and focuses on the limited content of electric circuits using light bulbs. Therefore, it is necessary to expand the scope of the curriculum to better mirror real-life technology. Through the use of more diverse materials and contexts, the scope and level of STS education as well as conceptual learning could be expanded. Finally, in the case of electric circuit learning, various issues such as difficulty in connecting electric circuits and electric field concepts, representativeness of electric circuit, students' learning difficulty, and phenomena-oriented learning should be considered.

  • Since reaching the top in the Billboard Main Album Chart 'Billboard 200' with Love Yourself: Tear in May of 2018, BTS once again took first place after just three months in the 'Billboard 200'(September 3, 2018) with the repackaged album Love Yourself: Answer. It opened the doors to the 'Hallyu 4.0' by conquering the main Billboard Chart with a song sung in Korean. BTS rose to the top on the 'Billboard 200' twice, thus being recognized globally for their musical talent(song, dance, promotion, etc.), and took their place in the mainstream music market of the world. BTS moved away from intuitive interaction such as mysticism, abnormality, irregularity, etc. but instead created their own world(BTS Universe) with fans around the world through two-directional communication such as consensus, sharing and co-existence. They are recognized as artists that went beyond being an idol group that simply released a few hit songs that had now elevated popular music to a new form of art. In result, they retained a highly loyal global fan base(A.R.M.Y.) and they are continuously creating good influence with them. This study analyzed the success factors of BTS using the S-M-C-R-E model as follows. ① Sender: BTS'7-person 7-colors fantasy and 'All-in-one storytelling' strategy of producer Bang Shi-hyuk ② Message: Create global consensus of 'you' rather than 'me' ③ Channel: Created real-time common grounds with global fans through social network platforms such as Youtube, Facebook and Instagram ④ Receiver: Formed highly loyal global fandom(A.R.M.Y.) that extends outside of Korea and Asia ⑤ Effect: Created additional economic value and spread good influence
