Purpose: In this study, we revealed the influence of customer buying factors in the purchase process of eco-friendly product. Especially, we focused on the information acquisition, alternative evaluation, and after-purchase activity process based on Korea-China customer's survey. Methods: In the information acquisition process, we investigate the channels of information acquisition about eco-friendly product, a reliability of information, and an impediment of acquiring product information. At the stage of alternative evaluation, we extract various causes that affects pre-purchasing process and perform the AHP analysis to identify critical causes. At last, we compare several factors which affects before and after purchasing process. Results: Especially, an average utilization and cognition score of eco-friendly products of Chinese consumers is higher than Korean consumers' score. In addition, critical buying factors of Korean consumers are a product quality, an evaluation of existing users. However, that of Chinese consumers are safety of products and environmental benefits of products. Conclusion: In recent years, as the rapid economic development of China, environment pollutions like heavy smog and yellow dust have been occurred frequently. In that manner, Chinese consumer's environmental consciousness is rapidly increasing; not only try to be active participant in eco-friendly activities, but also eco-friendly purchasing activities. In addition, Chinese consumers recognize eco-friendly products as good products made with advanced technology.

Due to the rapid economic development, traffic congestion has become a dire concern in Beijing, China. Levying a congestion toll is seen as the most effective solution to the problem. Building a congestion pricing model is a crucial step in implementing a workable toll scheme. Unlike previous attempts, this study not only covers the theoretical discussion but also considers three practical issues: the speed-density relationship, the value of travel time savings, and the determination of optimal traffic volume. We estimate the speed-density relationship by regression models and the value of travel time saved through survey results. We further suggest a way through which the government could identify the optimal traffic flow by a series of trial-and-errors, without the knowledge of exact road demand structure. Finally, a practical tolling scheme is proposed for Beijing's second ring road along with some policy recommendations.

Globally, owing to the rapid expansion of radio stations overseas, the frequency coordination system is managed as a preconditioning system. As a result, it is predicted that many types of radio stations will be established for domestic purposes, such as 5G, low-power IoT devices with long distance, based on licenses and non-license in the future. Many problems such as unnecessary launching of radio resources and spectrum-sharing technology exist, and it is necessary to consider the introduction of the abovementioned system and other plan system. In this paper, we explore the outline of radio station licensing and introduce the contents of the survey on another industry licensing. The plans were studied by discussing problems that may occur in future, through comparative analysis of radio stations and other industry licensing. Moreover, the differences were compared and analyzed using graphs. Finally, we discussed the problems convergence products such as drone may offer in the future.

As the needs of library users change diversely along with the rapid developments and changes in society, libraries have gone beyond the traditional role of providing, gathering, organizing and preserving materials and information to provide various program services in culture, interests, and practicality that accommodate cultural and educational needs. Public libraries, in particular, are reflecting their role as the representative educational and cultural institutions of the community and following social changes to expand the role of libraries and manage various programs. This study aims to vitalize adult-targeted programs in representative Seoul libraries by understanding the current situation of the aforementioned programs through the past five years, and ran a survey on the satisfaction levels of those who are in charge of the programs and those who utilize the programs. The purpose of the study is to comprehensively analyze the improvements needed for running the programs and the demands of users in order to propose ways to activate library programs for adults.

This study aims to evaluate the retirement income readiness of Korea, a country that-considering its high property asset ratio-is seeing an unprecedented rapid progression of graying. The result of analyzing 6,589 non-retired households in Statistics Korea's Survey of Household Finances (2011) is as follows. First, the Retirement Readiness Index, considering annual income and asset utilization income before including longevity risk, was 70.6. The index increased to 89.5 when utilizing real assets excluding houses and exceeded 100 when utilizing houses. Second, when designating 100 to be the life expectancy and taking into consideration longevity risk, there results were 52.5, 63.7, and 81.1, respectively. Third, since it is less likely for one to use all current financial assets as post-retirement income, the study reviewed the changes in the Retirement Readiness Index by applying three different levels of asset utilization ratios (50%, 75%, and 100%), which refer to the conversion ratios of current assets to retirement assets. This study is significant in that it considers longevity risk and applies asset utilization ratios in various ways, outside of the assumption that all current financial assets will be used as post-retirement income, to take a more realistic approach to retirement readiness.

The Environment - friendly construction industry has developed rapidly with sustained development of related technologies and government assistance. However, there is lack of consideration for nurturing professional manpower for Environment - friendly construction industry. In order to support rapid growth, it is necessary to analyze the competency of professional manpower to prepare for successful Environment - friendly construction industry. Thus, this research derive competency variables through the literature review and experts' interview was applied toward an validating of the key variables. Further, a survey of competency factors for sustainable construction was performed and analyzed through exploratory factor analysis. The result showed that four key competency factors were derived, and two factors stood out : Understanding of Sustainability and Affective Competency. The meaning of this research is to investigate relationship between the characteristics of Environment - friendly construction and importance of competency factor.

There has been only a deep water route for deep draft vessels without any other routeing system in Yosu Bay despite of the rapid change in ship's size and increase in the traffic volume since the specified area for traffic safety was established in 1988. In this work, we suggest several solutions to secure ship's safety and to eliminate dangerous factors which exists in present ship traffic system Consequently, this work is to propose improved marine traffic system in future.

Considering the growing importance of TV favorite channel setting function due to the rapid increase of number of TV channels, this study tried to find factors which affect the attitude toward and intention to use the favorite channel setting function. As related theories, this study used theory of diffusion of innovation, channel repertoire, channel changing behaviors, and social influences and suggested research hypotheses and questions based on the theories. After collecting data through online survey of 192 general audience, this study empirically analyzed the data by using multiple regression analysis. The result showed that innate innovativeness, relative advantage and social critical mass affected attitude toward using the favorite channel setting function and that compatibility, visibility, social critical mass influenced intention to use the function.

Due to the rapid increasing in the aged population, it calls for social countermeasures urgently. Especially, there are increasing needs of space environment to support physical and spiritual characteristics of elderly. When designing space environment including house, there are growing consideration for elderly and extending appreciation of aging. The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception on environment planning for the seniors among university students who majoring in Housing & Interior Design and who visited the Aging Simulation Center located in Seoul. The Aging Simulation Center gives a chance of space design to support the elderly based on the experiences of daily living for the designers who design environment for elderly. Questionnaire survey was conducted to obtain data from 93 university students in their 20s majoring in housing and interior design who visited the Aging Simulation Center. The research findings showed that the recognition for design elements of residential environment for the elderly of respondents was changed toward positive way after visiting the Aging Simulation Center. The Aging Simulation Center was an effective educational environment for the preliminary designers to understand aging and the importance of appropriate design for users' needs. That is, aging simulation space can improve recognition of necessity of universally designed environment to support the elderly. Handrails around bathtub and wash basin, stair slope, electric auto-level controlled kitchen counter and kitchen cabinet were especially perceived for the respondents as very essential design elements to support the aged.

In the 21st century, universal design has started to expand as new design value system for the diversity and various need of user: a new design that can reflects the welfare of the society. In addition, the percentage of population over 65 years old has been rising rapidly in Korea, and we are expected to reach 'aged society' with 14.3% of elderly population in 2018. In rural districts, population of the elderly has already reached 'super-aged society' with over 20%. With the rapid increase of the number of the elderly, the need for social service system is rising. For the independent living of the elderly, the dwelling space that supports their lifestyle is the most important factor. In advanced countries, they have proposed the housing for the elderly to keep living in their house, improvement of housing quality that fits the changing various needs of them. Until now, however, the most housing condition that the elderly has lived is poor living environment as below housing standards, especially housing in rural districts is very poor. The purpose of this study was to extract issue of housing in the rural districts in terms of universal design concept and reflecting the cultural and living characteristics of rural districts. With this, additionally, this study make understood about the necessity and important of universal design housing to reflect the characteristics of rural districts. For this study, data were collected from field survey and interview. The major results showed the following. 1) There were very various type of housing in rural districts. Spatial composition and shape was not related to living behavior and cultural characteristics of rural district. 2) The most new constructed housing was similar to urban housing type. It means that housing with respect to living culture of users in rural district must be developed. 3) In rural housing, they all had outdoor building (included storehouse, bathroom/toilet, kitchenet, etc.) relating to a series of work behavior. However, living environment was not to meet needs and characteristics of users.
