We inverstigate the properties of BL-hommorphisms on BL-algebras. In particular, we find the BL-algebra in duced by lattice-isomorphism. From these facts, we obtain the generalized Lukasiewicz structure. More-over, we study the properties of quotient BL-algebras and deductive systems.

In this paper we introduce the notion of quotient in-cline and obtain the structure of incline algebra. Moreover, we also introduce the notion of prime and maximal ideal in incline, and study some relations between them in incline algebra.

The norm N(G) of a group G is the intersection of the normalizers of all the subgroups of G. In this paper, the structure of finite groups with a cyclic norm quotient is determined. As an application of the result, an interesting characteristic of cyclic groups is given, which asserts that a finite group G is cyclic if and only if Aut(G)/P(G) is cyclic, where P(G) is the power automorphism group of G.

In this paper, we introduce a partitioning subsemimodule of a semimodule over a semiring which is useful to develop the quotient structure of semimodule. Indeed we prove : 1) The quotient semimodule M=N(Q) is essentially independent of choice of Q. 2) If f : M ${\rightarrow}$ M' is a maximal R-semimodule homomorphism, then $M/kerf_{(Q)}\;\cong\;M'$. 3) Every partitioning subsemimodule is subtractive. 4) Let N be a Q-subsemimodule of an R-semimodule M. Then A is a subtractive subsemimodule of M with $N{\subseteq}A$ if and only if $A/N_{(Q{\cap}A)}\;=\;\{q+N:q{\in}Q{\cap}A\}$ is a subtractive subsemimodule of $M/N_{(Q)}$.

The purpose of this paper is to study the structure of quotient rings R/P where R is an arbitrary ring and P is a prime ideal of R. Especially, we will establish a relationship between the structure of this class of rings and the behavior of derivations satisfying algebraic identities involving prime ideals. Furthermore, the characteristic of the quotient ring R/P has been determined in some situations.

PURPOSE. This study investigated the influence of bone quality and surgical technique on the implant stability quotient (ISQ) value. In addition, the influence of interfacial bone quality, directly surrounding the implant fixture, on the resonance frequency of the structure was also evaluated by the finite element analysis. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Two different types of bone (type 1 and type 2) were extracted and trimmed from pig rib bone. In each type of bone, the same implants were installed in three different ways: (1) Compaction, (2) Self-tapping, and (3) Tapping. The ISQ value was measured and analyzed to evaluate the influence of bone quality and surgical technique on the implant primary stability. For finite element analysis, a three dimensional implant fixture-bone structure was designed and the fundamental resonance frequency of the structure was measured with three different density of interfacial bone surrounding the implant fixture. RESULTS. In each group, the ISQ values were higher in type 1 bone than those in type 2 bone. Among three different insertion methods, the Tapping group showed the lowest ISQ value in both type 1 and type 2 bones. In both bone types, the Compaction groups showed slightly higher mean ISQ values than the Self-tapping groups, but the differences were not statistically significant. Increased interfacial bone density raised the resonance frequency value in the finite element analysis. CONCLUSION. Both bone quality and surgical technique have influence on the implant primary stability, and resonance frequency has a positive relation with the density of implant fixture-surrounding bone.

The ordering method is used to reduce the fill-ins in interior point methods. In ordering, the data structure plays an important role. In this paper, first, we compare the efficiency and the memory storage requirement of the quotient graph structure and the clique storage. Next, we propose a method of reducing the number of cliques and a data structure for clique storage. Finally, we apply a method of merging rows and absorbing cliques and show the experimental results.

In this paper, we will show some relations between decomposition series {${\nu}^{\alpha}\;:\;{\alpha}$ is an ordinal } and supratopological series {${\sigma}_{\alpha}{\nu}\;:\;{\alpha}$ is an ordinal} for a neighborhood structure $\nu$ and the formular ${\sigma}_{\alpha}{\nu}\;=\;{\nu}^{({\omega}^{\alpha})}$, where $\omega$ is the first limit ordinal.

The aim of this study was to validate the Korean Version of the Empathy Quotient-Short form(EQ-Short-K) in a sample of Korean nursing students. A total 528 students(494 female, 34 male) were studied by 2 groups. To provide a validity of the Empathy Quotient-Short form in Korean sample, exploratory factor analysis, reliability test and Pearson correlation coefficient were conducted. In study 1 (N=298), the finding of factor analysis confirmed that 11 of the 22 EQ-Short items were presented as a single-factor structure. The reliability estimate of the EQ-Short-K was high(.88). In terms of criterion validity, the EQ-short-K correlated positively with Interpersonal Reactivity Index(IRI)(r=.279, p<.000). In study 2 (N=230), the finding identified that the EQ-Short-K correlated positively with Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire(ICQ)(r=.351, p<.000). It suggested that the EQ-Short-K had satisfactory internal consistency and validity, thereby the EQ-Short-K can be used as a meaningful measure for empathy among Korean nursing domain.
