Mammography is the most useful test for the early diagnosis of breast cancer. The MammoPad can be used for the purpose of reducing the pain felt by the patient due to the pressure of the breast. MammoPad cushion the pressure between the breasts and the equipment and reduce the patient's discomfort. A new material pad was fabricated to solve the problem of the H-pad which is currently in circulation. Quantitative evaluation of SNR and CNR and qualitative evaluation of imitation lesion using ACR Phantom were performed. In the quantitative evaluation, SNR and CNR of Non pad and Filter pad were not statistically significant.(p>0.05) In the qualitative evaluation, Fiber and Imitation lesion of H-pad and Filter pad were statistically significant(p<0.05), and all values of Calcification and Mass were not statistically significant. (p>0.05) In addition, Fiber, calcification, mass, and imitation lesion were not statistically significant in both Non pad and Filter pad.(p>0.05) Through this study, it was confirmed that the newly created Filter pad minimizes image quality degradation and can replace existing products.

Recent earthquakes in Korea caused some damages to stone pagodas and thereby awakened the importance of earthquake preparedness. Korean stone pagodas which have been built with very creative style of material use and construction method are worthy of world heritage. Each stone pagoda consists of three parts: top; body; and base. However each tower is uniquely defined by its own features, which makes it more difficult to generalize the seismic assessment method for stone pagodas. This study has focused on qualitative preliminary evaluation of stone pagodas that enables us to compare the relative seismic performance across major aspects among many various Korean pagodas. Specifically an analytical model for multi-block stone pagodas is to be proposed upon the investigation of structural characteristics of stone pagoda and their dynamic behavior. A strategy for seismic evaluation of heritage stone pagodas is to be established and major evaluation factors appropriate for the qualitative evaluation are identified. The evaluation factors for overall seismic resisting behavior of stone pagodas are selected based on the dynamic motions of a rigid block and its limit state. Numerical simulation analysis using discrete element method is performed to analyze the sensitivity of each factor to earthquake and discuss some effects on seismic performance.

This study aims to analyze the change in the correlation between the index values and qualitative quantitative evaluation elements by applying 'the decile of total number of articles' instead of the average annual number of articles in Kor-Factor2, and to evaluate the distinction ability between registered journals and register nominee journals of the KCI. The correlation between the index values and qualitative quantitative evaluation elements was analyzed by calculating the correlation coefficient between the index values and the evaluation elements, and then the correlation was compared with that of Kor-Factor2. To evaluate the distinction ability, we carried out independent samples t-test on the mean difference between index values of register nominee journal group and registered journal group and compared the mean difference with that of Kor-Factor2, IF and journal h-index. As a result, we found that the modified index applying the decile of total number of articles was effective in improving the balance among the correlation between the index values and qualitative quantitative evaluation elements compared to Kor-Factor2, and the new index appeared to be superior to other indexes on distinction ability of the journal's registration condition in the KCI.

This study draws implications by surveying and analyzing performance evaluation cases in Korea and overseas, and analyzes qualitative and quantitative performance evaluation indexes and evaluation models that fit the national R & D performance evaluation system through analysis of patent creation performance data or company status data. Also, in order to apply this to a specific group of companies with excellent exports and technical skills, we will conduct a case study on the performance analysis of patent strategy support projects based on the results of the survey. Although this study has some limitations in developing performance evaluation indicators due to the limited scope of business or business characteristics of the patent strategy support project, the qualitative evaluation system can be reviewed through previous studies and domestic and overseas case studies. Due to the problem of accessing and collecting data related to the performance of the support project, there is a limitation that performance analysis cannot be performed at a sufficient level. Nevertheless, after the completion of R&D support projects and patent strategy support projects, follow-up performance analysis can be performed through follow-up surveys. It is expected to be possible.

This paper aims to aid a practical evaluation for screening out the design proposais under applying the IRDS system, which is developed a computer aided industrial design system as a computer application system. In this study, the author adopted 3 evaluation methods with criteria which have quantitative and qualitative attributes : the Intuitive Evaluation Methods(X), the Accumulative Evaluation Method(Y), the Benchmarking Evaluation Methods(Z). The results show that the 3 Methods have reciprocal relationships under reliability(r=0.0001). In analysis on the properties of the evaluation methods, the Evaluation Method (X) shows rapidity especially, the Evaluation Method (Y); relativity, the Evaluation Method(Z); importance respectively. The correlation analysis between the evaluation methods makes the null hypothesis denying, then we could adapt the research hypothesis. Therefore the correlation between them has positive relationship, and it shows thicker than the result of the 1st study.

Urban parks create the natural landscape of the city and offer a space for city residents to stay healthy and take a rest. They are also urban facilities designed to improve city dwellers' emotional aspects. Currently, urban parks need qualitative management as well as quantitative supply due to changes in the national land and urban policy paradigm, and a shift in perspective to consumer-centeredness is needed. In this study, the service levels of urban parks for citizen were evaluated: (1) quantitative supply adequacy was analyzed based on the urban population, and (2) the qualitative evaluation of the parks were conducted. Based on the evaluation, the appropriateness of the arrangement of urban parks is judged by comprehensively analyzing the quantitative and qualitative aspects. As a result of the evaluation of service levels of urban parks, the highest serviced urban parks were found in urban housing development sites and recently established parks. In addition, it was found that the recently created parks improved the qualities of the parks by installing various facilities. If the quantitative and qualitative aspects of urban park service supply are comprehensively analyzed and applied through this research method, it will be a more effective park and green space plan.

For three years, from 2014 to 2016, in dental history class, 263 3rd grade students, attending postgraduate dental school had reviewed current problems of the dentistry and dental care system by adopting historical thinking, in forms of essays, editorials, and papers, The purpose of this study is to know whether writing has educational benefits on students. Analysis of the writings and Student course evaluation showed that it is beneficial. All of the students agreed on submitting a qualitative study project instead of taking midterms on 2016. The approval ratio has increased over the years, on 2014 being 82%, on 2015 being 98%, on 2016 being 100%. For that reason, it is not an assertion to deduce that the students have experienced benefits while developing their genuine thoughts on the current status or problems, exploring what their role is, and what they will face. The chronological thinking had been used throughout the researches to identify what Dentistry and Dentist is. Dentistry have encompassed knowledges of natural sciences, humanities and other fields when needed to perfect itself. In doing so, Dentist achieved independence from doctor or other cooperatives. Research on Korean Dental care system has involved in historical thinking, including historical analysis, inquisition, and historical imagination, insight. etc. If the in-depth evaluation consisting of history and writing is sustained, it would be very effective teaching method.

This study intended to propose an improvement plan to improve user satisfaction by establishing a park and green space masterplan by comparing its current status and surveying the residents' perception of green park services in two regions. The study results showed that the residents are aware of the physical and qualitative aspects of the green park environment. In addition, the quality level of the green park that people may actually use in everyday life was considered a factor for evaluation of satisfaction. In addition, it was found that the residents, who are actual users of the green park services, evaluated the satisfaction of use considering the qualitative characteristics of the green park, such as 'quality of green park' and 'availability of green park.' As a result, efforts are required to create and improve the quality of green parks efficiently based on establishing qualitative indicators, a survey of residents' perception, and quantitative analysis to develop policy directions and guidelines of the park and green space masterplan.

Purpose - This study explored factors of online education that affect student dissatisfaction and learning effectiveness in higher education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research design, data, and methodology - This study combined qualitative and quantitative designs. The qualitative part of this study involved in-depth interviews using a criteria-based purposive sampling technique. The quantitative part of this study consisted of an online survey. Results - The qualitative results revealed that students faced significant problems related to online learning, including a lack of learning environment, interaction, and support from the school. The quantitative results indicated that the effects of transitioned-online courses on student dissatisfaction were higher with student support, the interaction between students and instructors, online learning environment, and course organization and evaluation based on the order, while the effects on learning effectiveness were higher with the online learning environment, interaction between students and instructors, course organization and evaluation, and student support based on the order. Conclusion - The results implied that online learning in the era of the COVID 19 pandemic negatively affects student satisfaction and learning effectiveness. Policymakers and school leaders should improve students' satisfaction and learning effectiveness when confronted with the pandemic. Better policies should be adopted to improve better way of teaching in the era of COVID19.

This study was implemented to verify the validity and effectiveness of the current evaluation indicators by analyzing the content and result of the current survey for evaluating a small library, based on the achievement rate of each index. To this end, questions, included in evaluation indices for the small library were reviewed, and survey data from a total of 19,476 libraries during the past 3 years from 2018 to 2020 were investigated to analyze the evaluation scores, differences and achievement rates of each item. It was proposed to delete or add some indicators of the current evaluation category, and to raise supplementally the need for qualitative assesment. Based on the research results, the following implications are suggested. First of all, the evaluation of small libraries should focus on the quality of the services they provide rather than the library environment. Second, demonstrable systematic indicators should be designed and then clearly explained to resolve the ambiguity of the terms used. Third, for better analysis, it is necessary to distinguish evaluation items between public and private small libraries and the assessment process should be done by the local government. Lastly, qualitative evaluation items that can measure users' satisfaction should be added.
