E-reviews, electronic reviews, are generally perceived as trustworthy and credible by the consumers, because it is based on the experiences of other consumers who are independent of the marketers. Therefore, consumers may rely more on the review information as an important cue than direct experience or advertising. This paper explored the structural equation model to investigate the relationships among search motives of e-reviews, attributes of e-review, trust, and purchase intention for cosmetics. A self-questionnaire was developed based on previous researches. Data were collected from 300 female university students experienced purchasing cosmetics at the Internet and were analyzed by AMOS 20.0. Results showed that e-review attributes consisted of three factors: expertise/visuality, quality/functionality and advertising/design. Utilitarian and hedonic search motives were significantly related to expertise/ visuality attributes of e-review and then influenced the purchase intention for cosmetics, mediated by the trust of e-review. However, quality/functionality attributes related by utilitarian motive did not have a significant effect to trust of e-review and purchase intention for cosmetics. Regardless of search motives and trust of e-review, advertising/design attributes of e-review directly related to purchase intention of cosmetics. As predicted, the trust of e-review was an important mediated variable to stimulate the purchase intention of cosmetics at internet. The implications of findings for research and practice are discussed.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the substance of clothing attributes which influence the preference and purchase intentions of consumer's on the clothing products and to analyze the influence of such attributes. The subjects of this study are 434 students and formal survey methodologies were used in collecting data. Moreover SAS Package(Ver 6,12) Program was used for analysis and various methods such as factor analysis cluster analysis ANOVA Scheffe test conjoint analysis multiple regression correlation analysis and {{{{ chi ^2 }}-test were followed. The results of this study were as follows : 1) Clothing involvement consists of the affective factor and the cognitive factor 2) The consumers were divided into three groups with regards to the degree of their clothing involvement : those are the high cognitive and high affective involvement group the low cognitive and high affective involvement group and the low cognitive and low affective involvement group 3) The objective attributes of clothing were determined by such factors as price brand style and color whereas the subjective and fashionability 4) Significant differences were found regarding the importance of such clothing attributes among these groups 5) Partial significant differences were found regarding the importance of such clothing attributes among these groups. 5) Partial significant differences were found with regards to the influence of the objective attributes on the subjective attributes among these groups 6) Partial significant differences were found with regards to the influence of clothing attributes on the preference and purchase intentions among these groups. 7) There were differences in the correlation of preference and purchase intentions among these groups : such among these groups with regards to the demographic characteristics of these groups.
The purpose of this study was to examine the models of apparel store patronage behavior of various store types for each of two clothing categories in terms of lifestyle activities, information sources, shopping orientations and store attributes. The data were collected via a questionnaire from 326 adult females of ages over 20's living in satellite cities around Seoul and were analyzed by factor analysis, Multiple Regression analysis and path analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) There were significant relationships between lifestyle activities, information sources, shopping orientations and store attributes in both of formal wear and casual wear purchase. 2) Patronage behavior of department store in formal wear purchase was influenced by shopping activities, personal information sources, brand/store loyalty orientation. Regional store preference and store image attributes influenced the franchise store patronage behavior in formal wear purchase. Discount store patronage behavior in formal wear purchase was predicted by self-assurance/innovativeness and store image and service attributes. Information search of printed material/TV and store image and service attributes influenced off-price store patronage behavior for formal wear, while shopping activities and department store preference influenced off-price store patronage for casual wear. Traditional market patronage behavior for formal were was influenced only by brand/store loyalty, while traditional market patronage behavior for casual wear was influenced by sports activities, brand/store loyalty and price attributes.
This study attempted to improve frying powder products based on 272 consumers' purchase conditions. Factor analysis by type was conducted on purchase attributes of consumers who purchased frying powder by categorizing them based on five factors-namely, convenience, information, diversity, safety, and economy. Five main factors were divided into four purchase attributes named various pursuit, convenience pursuit, economical pursuit, and inform/safety pursuit. Purchasing status of frying powder products was analyzed according to three independent variables such as age, meal preparation type, and purchase attributes. The top motivation for using frying powder was convenience. According to the importance-satisfaction analysis survey, taste, expiration date, and certification mark were chosen as highly important and high satisfaction characteristics for frying powder (p<0.001), whereas nutrition, oil absorption, adhesiveness, crispiness, origin, and food additives were highly important and low satisfaction characteristics (p<0.001). In the conjoint analysis, crispiness was the most important attribute of fried food.

Purpose: This study aims to determine which optional attributes are more important for the MZ generation when purchasing luxury fashion goods. Although sales are slowing down in all industries due to COVID-9, sales of luxury fashion goods are instead increasing, centered on the MZ generation. Companies are expanding online sales channels and transforming to gain more attention. Research design, data and methodology: Selection attributes are considered to be more crucial, when customers select luxury fashion products such as prestige image, brand awareness, reasonable price, and product quality, were researched and also find the correlation between satisfaction and purchase intention were analyzed. A survey was conducted focusing on the MZ generation, and the contents of the survey were analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 program and the Amos 26.0 program. Results: As a result of the study, selection attributes as prestige image, brand awareness, and product quality were proved to influence significantly on satisfaction. Moreover, the path of satisfaction to purchase intention proved significant. But reasonable price did not influence on MZ generations satisfaction. Conclusions: The research results present the selection attributes of luxury fashion products and provide significant implications when the MZ generation selects the attributes of luxury fashion products.
Recently, as growing number of consumers publish product and service reviews on the Internet, e-review has received attention from retailers and researchers. E-review, a form of electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) which is typically shared between strangers whose identity and credibility are unknown, has become an important product information source as social media has facilitated information exchanges between more consumers. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of e-review attributes on purchase intention for fashion products, which is mediated by trust of e-review, as well as to explore the differences between consumer communities and cooperative communities. A questionnaire was developed based on previous researches. Data were gathered from adults living in Busan. The results were analyzed by factor analysis, t-test, and regression using SPSS 18.0. The results showed that consumers tended to recognize e-reviews from consumer communities as exaggerated information, while they considered reviews from cooperative communities as reliable information, which gave the latter higher purchase intention. There were significant differences in e-review attributes for fashion products (e.g., Exaggeration, Entertainment, Innocence, and Agreement), purchase intention between consumer communities (e.g: Blog, Internet cafe) and cooperative communities (e.g: general malls and specialty malls). For both communities, purchase intention of fashion products was influenced by its entertainment attributes and perceived trust of e-reviews. These results suggest that e-retailers need to focus on understanding the causes of purchase intention with e-reviews for fashion products. Specifically, e-retailers should recognize that e-reviews of fashion products were associated primarily with entertaining and with consumers' trust. Based on these findings, managerial implications are presented.
This paper conducted an empirical study to identify the causal relationship of factors affecting the purchase intention of automobiles from the customer's point of view. This study sets the purchase intention as a result variable and constructs a causal model with brand image, product attributes (exdogenous variable), and customer value (endogenous variable) as a cause that affects purchase intention. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the symbolic image of the brand was found to have a very significant effect on customer value (p=0.01), and the external attribute of the product also had a significant effect on customer value (p=0.1). Second, customer value was found to have a very significant effect on purchase intention (p=0.01), and the functional image of the brand also had a significant effect on purchase intention (p=0.1). Third, there is a strong positive (+) correlation between the functional image of the brand and the symbolic image of the brand, the intrinsic attribute of the product, and the external attribute of the product, and also between the symbolic image of the brand and the intrinsic attribute of the product and There was also a positive (+) correlation between extrinsic attributes. Therefore, in order to increase customer value, automobile manufacturing companies have a functional value of products from a customer-oriented perspective. It is judged that every effort should be made to maintain a lasting relationship by grasping the values of customers, which are social values, emotional values, situational values, and cognitive values.
This study classifies review attributes into ratings, number of comments and image information in online shopping mall to verify their impact on brand attitude and purchase decision and e-WOM intention. Use SPSS 23.0 for frequency analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that review attributes have a positive effect on brand attitudes, purchase decision and e-WOM intention, but the number of comments has not affect on purchase decision. Brand attitude has a positive effect on purchase decision and e-WOM intention. Brand attitude has media effect in the relationship between ratings, image information and purchase decision, and in the relationship between review attributes and e-WOM intention. As these results, consumers don't always like to have a lot of comments. and should allow to focus on high ratings and photo reviews as much as possible when writing reviews.
Purpose - This study investigates the effects consumer perceptions of wine attributes have on repurchase intention. It examineshow wine purchase channels (online or offline) influence perceptions about wine attributes and repurchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology - A total of 390 responses from Florida residents over 21 were collected using online surveys. Responses were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis to identify the underlying wine attribute factors. Multiple regression and multi-group analysis were employed to test the hypotheses. Results - Results revealed that consumer perceptions of wine attributes (sensory, origin, reputation, and price point) significantly influence their repurchase intention. Additionally, the effects of wine attributes on repurchase intentions were found to be significantly different based on the channel used. Findings indicated that wine attributes pertaining to reputation and price point strongly influenced repurchase behavior of online consumers, while offline wine consumers were influenced more by sensory and origin attributes. Conclusions - Study findings provide useful information for wine industry sales channels for developing new marketing strategies to effectively attract wine consumers to repurchase wine.
Consumers are highly interested in processed fishery products that are healthy and superior in terms of convenience, nourishment, and taste. However, current domestic research on processed fishery products is marginal. We systematically analyzed consumer consumption patterns and the relationship to pursuit benefits, selection attributes, satisfaction levels, and reasons for purchase. Consumers considered product information the most important selection attribute, whereas convenience scored highest for pursuit benefits. Furthermore, the influences of selection attributes and pursuit benefits on satisfaction level and the reason for purchasing an item were analyzed using demographic properties as control variables. The variables that affected satisfaction level were residential district (region: B= -0.268, p<0.05.), recipe (B=0.098, p<0.05), nutrients (B=0.124, p<0.05), convenience (B=0.283, p<0.001), and economics (B=0.138, p<0.05). The variables affecting the reason for purchasing were nutrients (B=0.173, p<0.001), convenience (B=0.277, p<0.001) and satisfaction level (B=0.163, p<0.001). Pursuit intention had significant effects on purchase intention; however, selection attributes had no significant effect on purchase intention. Therefore, consumer satisfaction had a significant effect on purchase intention. This result showed that if consumers were satisfied, they intended to repurchase. Attempts to increase repurchases by consumer are needed by fulfilling consumer satisfaction. These data can be utilized as a fundamental reference for sales promotions.
