An Agresti-Coull type test is considered for the difference of binomial proportions in two doubly sampled data subject to common false-positive error. The performance of the test is compared with likelihood-based tests. The Agresti-Coull test has many desirable properties in that it can approximate the nominal significance level well, and has comparable power performance with a computational advantage.

We consider the problem of estimating binomial proportions in the presence of nonignorable nonresponse using the Bayesian selection approach. Inference is sampling based and Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods are used to perform the computations. We apply our method to study doctor visits data from the Korean National Family Income and Expenditure Survey (NFIES). The ignorable and nonignorable models are compared to Stasny's method (1991) by measuring the variability from the Metropolis-Hastings (MH) sampler. The results show that both models work very well.

Analysis of Means(ANOM) is a visualization tool for comparing several means to the grand mean like control chart type. This paper reviews five ANOM methods for continuous data such as ANOM, ANOME (ANOM for Treatment Effects), ANCON (Analysis of Contrasts), ANOMV (ANOM for Variance), ANOMC (ANOM for Correaltion). Three ANOM tools for discrete data such as ANOMNP (ANOM for Nonconforming Proportions), ANOMNC (ANOM for Nonconforming Unit), ANOMNPU (ANOM for Nonconfirmities Per Unit) are also developed.

The aim of this study is to develop economical High-Strength and High-Quality Concrete, and to assure quality control of Concrete in the field. For this purpose, Five types of Mixing Methods are examined and the relationship between slump loss and slump recovery by transport is studied. As a result, workability and strength are dependent on the Mixing Method, although the Mixing proportions are same, Also, adding admixture in the field is proposed as an alternative to consider the relationship between slump loss and slump recovery.

The mineral admixtures, ground granulated blast furnace slag (GSB) and fly ash (FA), were mixed with ordinary portland cement(OPC) in order to reduce temperature rise and slump loss in concrete. In according to concrete replaced with 30% of GBS, the compressive strength of that developed to 574 kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ at age of 28days and maximum temperature decreased to the extent of $5^{\cire}C$. When GBS and FA are mixed with concrete, it can be estimated that mix proportions of them have to be taken into consideration.

In this study. use if CSA expansive additive for concrete is discussed, particulary applications to partial compacting the concrete structure of spillway gate located in Youngjong new airport construction field. Before the field applications, several basic laboratory test were carried out in order to clarify the material characteristics and to decide mix proportions. As the result the concrete using CSA expansive additive show similar workability and compressive strength to that of OPC concrete. Forethemore, it can be concluded that the use of CSA component is effective to prevent shrinkage crack and to achive volume stabiliy of concrete structure.

We considered a bootstrap method for constructing confidenc intervals for a one parameter model using multinomial sampling. The convergence rates or the proposed bootstrap method are calculated for model-based maximum likelihood estimators(MLE) using multinomial sampling. Monte Carlo simulation was used to compare the performance of bootstrap methods with normal approximations in terms of the average coverage probability criterion.

This study was performed to make suggestions for improving consumer welfare in public utility pricing. The consumer related issues in the process of public utility pricing and the consumers' burden on expenditures for public utility were reviewed. Due to the large proportions of the expenditures for public utility to total consumption expenditures, the poor and the younger consumers had more disadvantages in rising consumer price on public utility than the rich and the older. Finally, four kinds of alternatives were suggested to solve the consumer problems in public utility pricing.

The ideology of space development can be classified into three types: national security, scientific inquiry, and commercialism. Korea and Japan have influenced the space development innovation system by different proportions. In the rhetoric analysis of Kim Young Sam, Kim Dae Jung, Roh Moo Hyun, and President Lee Myung Bak, the periods when Korea's space development began in earnest, the pragmatism (commercialism) of strengthening industrial competitiveness through space development has been consistently emphasized. But it also maintains national security and scientific inquiry as ancillary.
