Increased intracellular levels of $Ca^{2+}$ are generally thought to negatively regulate lipolysis in mature adipocytes, whereas store-operated $Ca^{2+}$ entry was recently reported to facilitate lipolysis and attenuate lipotoxicity by inducing lipophagy. Transient receptor potential mucolipin1 (TRPML1), a $Ca^{2+}$-permeable non-selective cation channel, is mainly expressed on the lysosomal membrane and plays key roles in lysosomal homeostasis and membrane trafficking. However, the roles of TRPML1 in lipolysis remains unclear. In this study, we examined whether the channel function of TRPML1 induces lipolysis in mature adipocytes. We found that treatment of mature adipocytes with ML-SA1, a specific agonist of TRPML1, solely upregulated extracellular glycerol release, but not to the same extent as isoproterenol. In addition, knockdown of TRPML1 in mature adipocytes significantly reduced autophagic flux, regardless of ML-SA1 treatment. Our findings demonstrate that the channel function of TRPML1 partially contributes to lipid metabolism and autophagic membrane trafficking, suggesting that TRPML1, particularly the channel function of TRPML1, is as therapeutic target molecule for treating obesity.

A phase delay spectrum model towards the representation of spatial coherence of stochastic wind fields is proposed. Different from the classical coherence functions used in the spectral representation methods, the model is derived from the comprehensive description of coherence of fluctuating wind speeds and from the thorough analysis of physical accounts of random factors affecting phase delay, building up a consistent mapping between the simulated fluctuating wind speeds and the basic random variables. It thus includes complete probabilistic information of spatial stochastic wind fields. This treatment prompts a ready and succinct scheme for the simulation of fluctuating wind speeds, and provides a new perspective to the accurate assessment of dynamic reliability of wind-induced structures. Numerical investigations and comparative studies indicate that the developed model is of rationality and of applicability which matches well with the measured data at spatial points of wind fields, whereby the phase spectra at defined datum mark and objective point are feasibly obtained using the numerical scheme associated with the starting-time of phase evolution. In conjunction with the stochastic Fourier amplitude spectrum that we developed previously, the time history of fluctuating wind speeds at any spatial points of wind fields can be readily simulated.

Low temperature irradiation can significantly harden metallic materials and often lead to strain localization and ductility loss in deformation. This paper provides a review on the radiation effects on the deformation of metallic materials, focusing on microscopic and macroscopic strain localization phenomena. The types of microscopic strain localization often observed in irradiated materials are dislocation channeling and deformation twinning, in which dislocation glides are evenly distributed and well confined in the narrow bands, usually a fraction of a micron wide. Dislocation channeling is a common strain localization mechanism observed virtually in all irradiated metallic materials with ductility, while deformation twinning is an alternative localization mechanism occurring only in low stacking fault energy(SFE) materials. In some high stacking fault energy materials where cross slip is easy, curved and widening channels can be formed depending on dose and stress state. Irradiation also prompts macroscopic strain localization (or plastic instability). It is shown that the plastic instability stress and true fracture stress are nearly independent of irradiation dose if there is no radiation-induced phase change or embrittlement. A newly proposed plastic Instability criterion is that the metals after irradiation show necking at yield when the yield stress exceeds the dose-independent plastic instability stress. There is no evident relationship between the microscopic and macroscopic strain localizations; which is explained by the long-range back-stress hardening. It is proposed that the microscopic strain localization is a generalized phenomenon occurring at high stress.

The individual rotten water purification tank recently discharges wastewater and sewage through the outlet without purification ability. The outlet water and affiliated water purification tank with microorganism cultivator tank cultivates microorganism and then drops the value BOD, COD of sewage and discharges the quality of water into the outlet. The blower and water pump operating continuously prompts the waste of energy and deterioration of equipment. Each room of deposition tank, foaming tank, microorganism cultivator tank is equipment with the sludge detection senses so it can detect the density of each room. The power-drive plant of the blower and water pump which are the system cultivating the microorganism must be made as fuzzy controlization (If the sludge amount of each room become higher, the rate of operation of blower and water pump must heighten, on the contrary, in case of row sludge amount, the total handling amount and microorganism handling amount of each room of control. Tank reducing the rate of operation must be DB. At present, the blower amount in proportion to the sludge and oxyzen demanding amount has to control. Each room mus be checked outlet level of the outlet, also each room must flow backward discharge materials, and must operate feed-back control until we want to be come as a below value of BOD/COD(10PPM ; KS).

Personalized product recommendation service is receiving attention as a new marketing strategy while supporting consumer information search and purchasing decisions. This study attempted to verify the effect of self-reference on service use behavior through the dual path of cognitive attitude and emotional attachment. Using convenience sampling, an online survey was conducted with 324 women who were in their 20s and 30s. After collecting and compiling the survey data, the reliability and validity of variables constituting the conceptual research model were verified through confirmatory factor analysis using AMOS 22.0. Next, the significance of sequentially mediated pathways was verified using Process 3.5 Model 80. The results showed that self-referencing not only significantly affects service use intention by simply mediating cognitive attitudes but also sequentially mediates cognitive attitudes and additional information search. Furthermore, self-referencing was significant as an indirect path to service use intention by mediating additional information search. However, in the path mediated by emotional attachment, self-referencing was considered as a simple mediated path leading to service usage intention. These results indicate a dual path in the psychological mechanism, through cognitive and emotional evaluation, that prompts consumer behavioral responses to the personalized product information provided in the shopping process.

Objectives : This paper aims to suggest alternative interpretations to previous ones of 'Daedong-eo-Hyeobui(大同於協義)' and 'Gakrip-eo-Cheonri(各立於擅利)' in the chapter 'Theories on Nature and Conduct(性命論)' in Donguisusebowon(東醫壽世保元) which have been found to be inadequate. Methods : Previous interpretations were thoroughly examined, then evaluated based on the narrative form and logical probability of the Donguisusebowon(東醫壽世保元). Afterwards, correct interpretations of the contents were suggested based on the context of the chapter 'Theories on Nature and Conduct(性命論).' Results & Conclusions : Of 'Daedong-eo-Hyeobui(大同於協義)', Daedong(大同) should be interpreted as 'to gather largely' instead of 'all the same.' Hyeobui(協義) should be interpreted as 'to submit willingly' and not 'to cooperate to Ui(義).' In the case of 'Gakrip-eo-Cheonri(各立於 擅利)', Gakrip(各立) means for people of same minds to rise against evil individually while Cheonri(擅利) refers to the evil of coveting for gains individually. There are other cases where existing interpretations have been erroneous other than the suggested examples, which prompts thorough re-evaluation of the text.

Nationalism endorses a collective movement to establish an authentic position in the international cultural and political arena. Arguably the dialectic of nationalism and geopolitics bears a reassuring similarity to the philosophical lineage going back, at least, to Hegelian dialectic of universality and particularity. This dialectic platform has been concerned with sustaining, among other things, the dynamics between the universal and the particular. In practical terms, nationalism prompts increased sensitivity to socio-political pressures coming from abroad to cancel the national particularity into geopolitical, so-called universal, anonymity. Drawing suggestively from psychoanalysis, Lacanian ethics in particular, this discussion articulates the ethics of nationalism. Recounting Kantian self-determination as a reference point for responsible morality, Lacan suggests the problematics of desire as an alternative index for ethics. As individual desire flows from the unfathomable abyss of misrecognition, Lacanian ethics dissuade individuals to unlearn the fantasy that their own real desire, a residue produced by the Symbolic process, can be satisfied with that very socio-cultural Symbolic. Subjecting nationalism to Lacanian implications, Zizek illuminates nationalism as a small screening object which obscures as much as displays the circuits to the individual desire. Psychoanalytic ethics addresses that the ethical base should be found upon the particular, individual, real desire. As far as the nationalist cause also puts emphasis upon particularity rather than universality, nationalism is logically positioned to exert reflective efforts on empowering its constitutive individuals. Lacanian ethics persuades us to challenge the universal claim and to work through to regenerate nationalism in presenting its final contribution towards individual particularities.

Luis Humberto Crosthwaite, as a witness to the accelerated changes in Tijuana since the 80's, has built a chronicle of the city based on nostalgia, fantasy, popular language, music, and criticism of the inequality between both sides of the border, but above all, on humour and irony. Among the gallery of characters that populate his stories, the common resident of the border has a special place. Here we are not talking about the passing person or newcomers, but of those who have shaped their social and personal identity from a long every day relationship with the city and the borderline, which makes up what we will call the border-being. In this work, we dialogue with the psychoanalytic concept of border personality or borderline disorder, which refers in a general way to subjects with a deep fracture between the self and the being, which prompts a psychotic search to reconcile this division. In addition, we will engage in an interdisciplinary dialogue to analyse how Crosthwaite characterises the fracture of the border-subjects in some of the stories of the book Instrucciones para cruzar la frontera, to point out the psychosis caused by the sociocultural tensions of life in a border city like Tijuana.

Recent research shows that latent directions can be used to image process towards certain attributes. However, controlling the generation process of generative model is very difficult. Though the latent directions are used to image process for certain attributes, many restrictions are required to enhance the attributes received the latent vectors according to certain text and prompts and other attributes largely unaffected. This study presents a generative model having certain restriction to the latent vectors for image generation and manipulation. The suggested method requires only few minutes per manipulation, and the simulation results through Tensorflow Variational Auto-encoder show the effectiveness of the suggested approach with extensive results.

A growing gap between market needs and the capabilities of the enterprise prompts repositioning (Corstjens and Dolye 1989). This article examines the strategic repositioning of 'Korando Sports' undertaken by SYMC throughout the period from Jan. 2012 to Jun. 2012, to boost sales volume and market share by entering market of active-lifestyle consumers currently occupied by SUVs. SYMC's experience indicates that it is essential to close the gap between the market needs and the ability of the enterprise to make a shift to new consumer segment with a new positioning. The successful repositioning framework(Ryan et al. 2007) were employed in this paper. This framework is comprised of six elements: core strategic values, strategic flexibility/learning capabilities, customer awareness and sensitivity, external orientation, management commitment, and belief in the product and brand. The evaluation based on the successful framework also confirms that 'Korando Sports' case meets all the requirements of the successful strategic repositioning. This paper provides some of the managerial implications with aim of assisting executives in identifying strategic repositioning opportunities. Primarily, the 'Korando Sports' case affirms the repositioning as a viable strategy and indicates that repositioning is a feasible means for strategic change. Second, this case shows the influence of a target consumer and SYMC's repositioning to follow consumer preference for a particular attribute. Moreover, we can understand how a product formerly considered weak in attributes can enjoy benefits in other segments with the same attributes.
